10 Ways to give Presence

As the festive season or occasions arise, people often offer physical gifts to others.  Another approach is to reflect on priceless gestures that can be offered not only for special occasions, but also to reinforce connection, acceptance and support everyday. For instance, people want to be seen and heard. Rather than offer 'things,' what if giving full attention is an appealing way to go? Consider 10 Ways to give presence as another kind of present:

1.  Practice Mindfulness

Tune into your physical sensations.  Ground yourself in the now. Feel your feet on the ground, the sensations on your fingers and toes. Be open to your environment. Tune into your senses. Be aware of feelings. Actively check in. Pay attention to your thoughts. Pay attention to how other people in your life are doing. Check in on your loved ones.

2. Listen Closely

Be present to other people.  Validate their thoughts and feelings. Give them your full attention. Listen without thinking. In addition to verbal communication, use multiple forms of nonverbal communication (eyes, body language, nods when appropriate) to let others know you are listening. Limit splitting your attention between the person and technology. It is hard to tune into others or yourself when you are bombarded with distractions. Be present. Listen to intuition. (Refer to The Definitive Book of Body Language by Allan & Barbara Pease)

3. Honour Self-care

Meditate. Ask yourself what you want and need right now. During the holidays people get busy. Take time out for you. If overwhelm arises, step back.  Take a break. Notice when you are Hungry, Angry/Anxious, Lonely, or Tired (HALT). If hungry, don’t get angry—eat. If angry, take some space. If anxious, recognize you control how you feel/ respond. If lonely, connect with nourishing and supportive people or pets. If tired, nap.  Focus on your breath. When you're trying your best to focus, simply take steps to recenter self.

4. Offer Service

Offering service is about being aware of what brings you joy and sharing the joyful vibration in ways that uplift others. In this way, we can engage in self-care and spend time with those who nourishing us, model both an act of self-care and its value.

5. Be Light-hearted

Spend time having fun by yourself or focus on what evokes light-heartedness.   Play outside—stomp on leaves, make a snowball, get a little wet in the rain, get warm when the sun is out. Be present to how others are doing and if they need a little pick-me-up, have a dance party for a song or two.  Limit the time you spend on social media.

6. Create Boundaries

Set good boundaries. No need to always be a “yes” person.  Modelling boundaries is useful for others to see in your life. This time of year, it can be hard to balance yours and others’ needs. Consider your emotional and physical health in the choices you make and actions you take. You can take a pause before responding to a request, especially a text or email. You can think something over. Boundaries are a two-way street; before you ask someone to do something, consider whether you are asking too much.

7. Show Appreciation

Keep a gratitude journal. Ask others what they are grateful for. Acknowledge what matters to you. Let people know what you are grateful for them. It is okay to be proud of yourself and let others know when you are proud of them. Uplift others, as well as yourself.

8. Be Kind & Compassionate

Reflect on how you would like to be treated. Do them for another and/ or yourself. Don’t always do for others and neglect yourself. Watch what happens as we are kind for no reason. Remember, even when we get angry with someone, we still love them. Tell the closest people in your life often that you love them. Engage in self-love by telling yourself the same. Write post-it notes of kindness as little reminders. Surprise another person by showing you care.

9. Take a Break from Social Media

Recall what life is like without social media. Communicate with others through a call, a text, or a face-to-face visit. Turn off social media for even a few hours. We rely so heavily on social media that it is nice to do things offline too. Consider something completely natural unrelated to tech.

10. Pay attention to energy

Notice duality is concerned with opposites. They key to everything is to find and align with balance. This happens as energy is the focus. Its insightful to notice our own triggers as well as ups and downs.  These are gifts we give ourselves. Notice in truth, we are more than every colour in every spectrum and every music note in every octave. Meditation is the path to let go of illusions, reclaim territory from the mind. As senses expand, we register new depth and texture, tune into a growing range of vibration, frequency, sound and light. Paradigm shifts echo changes in intensity, perception and expansion of consciousness. To know the nature of energy is to grow conscious of multidimensionality and blossom into new directions to feel more alive. Energy wisdom is the fountain of immortality.

Activate the Light Body

Notice every living being has capacity to activate the light body. Our light body is the vehicle or stepping stone to residing consistently in our divine state of being. The activation process is a gift we give ourselves, an energetic shift from fear to love. Every breath is like a prayer. Every thought, word and deed, all we receive, consume, decode and transmit, emits a vibration. The physical human body is a multi-faceted antenna system. Depending on positioning, the shapes created from the bones to the cells can radically impact our state of health and well-being.

Turns out, placing the body in certain postures helps us “tune-in” to key frequencies. Ritual body postures generally come in two forms: those that are held for long periods, trance & yoga postures, and those that are formed by gentle, fluid movements from a previous position and held momentarily, such as those found in Tai Chi. The static positions are like rabbit ears on a television set. To get better reception of a specific channel, they are placed in a certain position and left stationary. Experience varies yet it often takes at least fifteen minutes of silencing the body and holding a position to enter an altered state. Watch what happens as we tune into energy. Purify thoughts, will and intentions. Align with nature.

The human body is a crystalline lattice that forms a dipole antenna that radiates from the gut area out toward the head and feet and/or out toward each hand. The head and feet carry opposite charges as do each hand. Piezo crystals, which convert electrical energy into mechanical energy (and vice versa), are found in the bones, intestines, ligaments, tendons, and cartilage.

The body is also full of liquid crystals and minerals that make up the lattice. This explains why placing the body in different positions changes how the crystalline lattice is oriented to the Earth plane, affecting which frequencies it transceives. Changing positions also affects the length of the antenna, which is an important parameter in frequency selection. We constantly choose the radio dial or frequencies we tune into based on our physical positions and how long we hold postures and also the tones we happen to be chanting.  Sound influences the nature of what is transmitted and received.

As it happens, the condition of the soil around an antenna also determines how well it transceives. Rich soil amplifies the antenna’s ability to radiate and increases the range of frequencies the antenna can receive. Perhaps this is why so many practitioners prefer to do their Tai Chi exercises in a park setting, bare foot on the grass. Broadcast engineers have long known that using multiple antennas in specific arrays also enhances the ability to transceiver. Participating in group Tai Chi or meditation or yoga circles has this same effect.

Cell membranes are liquid crystal structures. A single cell in the body is a very small, short antenna. As it is so short, the frequency it transceives is very high and loaded with energy. Individually, each cell is either acting as a broadcast antenna and transmitting its status or acting as a receiving antenna to get what it needs. Together, similar cells transmit their own unique signal. For example, liver cells differ slightly from spleen cells. Individually, each liver cell transceives its own signal. Yet, collectively, all liver cells transceive as if one large antenna operating on the same frequency.

Those familliar with the basic principle used in acupuncture will relate. In ancient Chinese medicine, the liver is not considered to be just one specific organ located in just one place inside the body, as Western anatomy would picture it. In ancient Chinese medical philosophy, “liver” is considered to be a specific energy, or vibration, radiating within and through the entire body system.  We see this in the energy that follows path of the liver meridian through the body.

Ultimately, awareness expands and information enters conscious awareness with perfect timing.  As it dawns that we have a light body and can activate dormant systems, the process often is already underway.  Yet, as we grow more conscious and intentional, this intensifies the light we hold, accelerates the energies, builds momentum and multiplies dimensions active in the experience.

10 Tips to Rebuild, Rewire & Recreate Yourself

The moment arises when we are ready to make bigger life changes.  Sometimes change seems to happen without us and we may feel confused or frozen in our tracks. Sometimes we are unsure exactly how to respond to abrupt change, that is, which mountains to scale, which direction to turn or to how to let go of what no longer serves us.  Consider 10 Tips to rebuild, rewire and recreate yourself;

1. Draw Power from Inside

Everything shifts as it dawns true power comes from inner navigation rather than from outer attractions and attachments to people, position, potential promotion, material goods and prestiege.  In other words, this is key to reclaim and strengthen relationship with our truest virtues, vivid visions and untapped potential.

2.  Speak Truthfully

One who speaks from the heart, does not hold back, regardless of judgement, rejection or loss of popularity, is aligned with Soul.  As we shift away from ego agendas, we realize being honest with ourselves and others is the only option to be real.  Journalling and reading entries to self can encourage us to take it next level.

3. Focus on a Calling

This is not the same as what we do as a job we are pushed into or we allow someone to choose for us.   It emerges from intuition, a sixth or spiritual sense.  Its up to each of us to take chances, join the dots of our own path, do what others tell us cannot be done.

4. Be Loyal to your Values

This implies we are aware of our ideals and live in integrity.  This comes from deepening self-awareness and being willing to let go of relationships and situations that are not out of sync. Whether we call them pillars, commandments, guideposts, habits, principles or core values, they quietly guide our decisions and actions. The best are easily understood and shared in practice.

5. Live from the Heart

As we sget out of the head, (stop questioning, doubting, over-analyzing), and live more from the heart, we find effortless productivity soars, confidence and self-worth increase, and we grow into magic manifestors. This is part of the process of discovering oour gifts and offering service.  I pray we all come to trust intuition over the logic and practical reasoning of the intellect.

6. Study Inspiring People

Inspiring men and women affect us based on artistic genius, being fearless warriors, prodigious scientists, businss titans, inspiring humanitarians, Nobel laureats and individuals who inspire us to love and accept ourselves and our visions.   Principles they live by, behaviours, discipline and rituals stand out or draw us in to recognize qualities in ourselves that are ripe to blossom.

7. Learn to Meditate & Visualize

Notice the body. Feel your breath. Take note when your mind is wandering. Varied approaches exist.  This is about becoming an astute observer of your own thoughts and feelings.  Gradually expand your awareness to include body sensations, and sounds in external environments. Embrace everything that arises with non-judgmental awareness. Continue practicing mindfulness meditation for at least 10 minutes daily, gradually increasing the duration as you become more comfortable with the practice.

8. Invest in Self-development Events & Courses

Call it synchronicity or intuition, something mysterious guides us to commit time, and energy to events and courses. Maybe its a yoga teacher training, a children's illustrator workshop, a writer's masterclass, an artists' internship, a free offering that crosses our path, guidance from inspiriting specialists with no strings attached. Take advantage of what presents. Let your soul be your pilot.

9.  Enlist experts

At different stages of life, we invite in teachers and guides that invite us to evolve and flourish into more expanded versions of our true Self. That may include; performance coaches, healers, breathworkers, spiritual counsellors, hypnotherapists, dream coaches or whatever resonates with our stage of consciousness.

10. Self-examine

To pay attention to yourself invites looking deeper into the psyche, to realize what unfolds in our external world reflects the state of our inner world.  Begin to realize the subconscious mind and conscious mind are the same mind.  The only reasons we see a difference is because we artificially create a division. The part of the mind we are not willing to look at is the subconscious mind. To explore this unknown, do shadow work, get up early, strengthen resolve, do dream work, and take steps to align with personal destiny.

On reflection, as a wiser woman, I realize this is a lot.  At times, the process, was uncomfortable, even terrifying.  Yet, is was also electrifying, fascinating, rewarding to make my own breakthroughs. It dawns that deep personal change is often painful simply because it is transformational.  We cannot grow into all we are meant o be without leaving behind versions of ourselves we outgrow. Older versions of you experience a kind of death so your own new realities can emerge. We are taught change comes with suffering but the nature and duration are up to each of us.

Every morning, I see aspects of the external world continue to sleep or remain unchanged while the way I see myself, my behavior, even my very operating system are completely restructuring.  The more I focus energy, time and attention on my vision, the more major fears fall away and new situations emerge to replace them. Much of my previous conditioning to please, to be liked and conform, while betraying true self, just dissolved.

Dream Analysis of the Week- Etheric dream

Dreams

The aroma of Palo Santo stood out.  Smoke danced upward in a spiral.  Had an imprint of a blue purple haze or cloud.  The shade changed.

 Insight:

When a dream is directly linked to physiology, such as a present injury or ailment like arthritis, then its a physical body dream. This is grounded in time and space.

Yet, this dream concerns the etheric body (second body). Etheric dreams evoke confusion in Western psychology. Freud misunderstood etheric dreams for dreams caused by suppressed desires.  Dreams caused by suppressed desires exist, but they belong to the physical body, (first body). If you have suppressed physical desires, if you have fasted for instance, then you may dream of food (breakfast). Or, if you have suppressed sex, then sexual dream fantasies can arise. These dreams belong to the first body. The etheric body is left out of psychological investigation, so its dreams are interpreted as belonging to the first body, the physical.

In truth, the etheric body can travel in dreams. There is every possibility of it leaving your body. As you recall this, it is remembered as a dream, but it is not a dream in the same sense as the dreams of the physical body. The etheric body can go out of you when you are asleep. Your physical body will be there, but your etheric body can go out and travel in space. There is no space limiting it; there is no question of distance for it. Those who do not understand this, who do not recognize the existence of the etheric body, may interpret this as the realm of the unconscious. They divide man’s mind into conscious and unconscious. Then physiological dreaming is called “conscious” and etheric dreaming is called “unconscious.” It is not unconscious. It is as conscious as physiological dreaming, but conscious on another level. If you become conscious of your etheric body, the dreaming concerned with that realm becomes conscious.

Just as physiological dreams can be created from the outside, so too can etheric dreams be created, stimulated. A mantra is one of the methods to create etheric visions, etheric dreams. A particular mantra or a particular nada – a particular word, sounding repeatedly in the etheric center – can create etheric dreams. There are so many methods. Sound is one of them.  Smells are another.  For instance, the warm and soothing scent of Paol Santo has been used for eons in religious rituals and ceremonies. The Incas, indigenous people of the Andes, shamans and healers, have long used it for its metaphysical properties of purification and cleansing of the soul.

Colors also be of help. If you have ever dreamed of a particular shade or colour, you may find seeing this colour again, meditating on it even may create etheric dreams in others as well.  It is said certain colours stimulate etheric body dreaming.

So when someone goes deep in meditation and sees colors, and experiences perfumes and sounds and music absolutely unknown, these too are dreams, dreams of the etheric body. So-called spiritual visions belong to the etheric body; they are etheric dreams. Gurus revealing themselves before their disciples is nothing but etheric travel, etheric dreaming. But because we have only searched the mind at one level of existence, the physiological, these dreams have either been interpreted in physiological langugae or discarded, neglected, or, put into the unconscious.

To say that anything is part of the unconscious is really just to admit that we do not know anything about it. It is a technicality, a trick. Nothing is unconscious, but everything that is conscious on a deeper level is unconscious on the previous level. So for the physical, the etheric is unconscious; for the etheric, the astral is unconscious; for the astral, the mental is unconscious. Conscious means that which is known. Unconscious means that which is still not known, the unknown.

Any type of dream spiral  is a mode of communication to the physical world. In short, its the way in which our 3D world reflects the spiritual plane.  As we grow and evolve as a soul, we climb the metaphorical spiral path of understanding.  So, to dream of a spiral, is to come to identify more with the univese or Christ consciousness.

We offer in-depth Dream Consultations on single or multiple dreams, to address karma, energy and more.  We also offer an Astral, Lucid and Dream Yoga Course.

See from a New Point of View

(Image: Human Merkabah by artist Samuel Farrand)
Notice much misinformation and confusion arises in use of language and adopted meanings. Sacred geometry has been my core reality since childhood. I tune into everything as geometry first, decode energies into a human realm of perception.
When it comes to language, dimensions and realms are not the same. sacred geometry serves as a tool to reveal dimensions are different points of view of the same reality. Math is the universal language. Nine dimensions of our existence come from unity (0 leads to 1 to 9). To exist, a unified dimension must express itself into another. It creates polarity which is the second dimension. As these two points move, they create a third dimension, which is an axis between these two. These three points of view are in motion around each other which creates the fourth (time). This fourth dimension begins to create energy and light, which is the fifth dimension. Then, this shape can change it position which creates the sixth dimension. This said, the sixth dimension can transcend and manifest itself as the seventh dimensional reality. The infinite possibilities of these changes are represented by the toroid or eighth dimension. Everything comes back to the divine unity or reason why everything exists. This is echoed by the nineth dimension, as seen by the cube, which, precipitates the formation of the platonic solids that generate everything that exists in our dimensional reality.
So, to tune into things from point of view of geometry helps us to realize that we are not actually moving from 3D to 5D. Rather, we embody all dimensions simultaneously already. It may be said awakening is about growing aware of our conditioned emotional processing of information, realizing we can change our response. As we tune into the vibrational nature of thoughts and feelings, we can consciously recognize disharmony, shift focus and connections to amplify a different or more all-encompassing view. We exist to recall what it is to be our true self, and to experience a spectrum of energy and delight in coming full circle.
