Its all pointing here

Imagine a life where you do not have to do anything about anything.  Imagine a  life where nothing is wrong, where every choice you make at a given moment is the right one.  Give up all your emotion and effort to get somewhere. Let go of restlessness.  It may seem too simple to be true. Recognize you are the seer and experiencer, the observer and participant in this life.

What if you do not have to do, be or become anything? From this moment, notice what the mind would have you believe.  Then step back and accept every view is a reflection of the timeless recognizing itself.  Reconnect with the dimensions and perspectives you temporarily cut off.

As the mind carries no intention, ambition or neediness, it is spontaneously one. It does not view itself as a separate part of anything.   Recognize the attitudes you hold toward 'the other.' All you think is a self-fulfilling projection.  As you drop the resistance and false ideas you adopt as a child, you slowly let go of all fixations and identities connected with the body.  What's left?

Be  true nature, the state of pure awareness.  See things with less distortion.  Allow peace to fill you. To see everything as equal is to love and appreciate yourself unconditionally.  When you are truly free, you expect nothing and simply flow freely with the stream of life. He who is truly rich wants nothing.  He who has desires is simply playing the role of creator for a while.

"All the world's a stage, and all the men and women are merely players: they have their exits and their entrances; and one man in his time plays many parts, his acts being seven ages." - William Shakespeare

Everything is flowing smoothly

Imagine how it feels to know everything is always flowing smoothly.  Move your perception of reality.  Focus where you would like to be and feel as though you are here. All good feelings are linked to a sense of freedom. All negative feelings are linked to imagining a lack of freedom. Know accidents and mistakes are figments of the imagination. Only perfect timing exists. Everything that grabs you attention is for your own good. Love, generosity and acceptance flow unless you allow mind or thought to get in the way. Be the genie in charge of your own magic lamp. Grant your wishes.

As you step back, watch thoughts crossing the path of your mind. Ignore echoes that say anything is wrong , that say life, a project or dream is difficult, that would have you believe in physical, financial, psychological or other limitations. Nothing exists unless you believe it. So, whether you believe you can or can't, you prove yourself right. Why not set your sights on what matters and make it happen?

Look deep into the heart. Perception is not fixed. Notice what is real. Show and be pure compassion and this is all the universe reflects back through the eyes and behaviour of perceived others. Imagine how you can help people solve their problems, do that, and know you are also helping yourself.

Monk wisdom is here

One day, a loyal young monk witnessed conversation between a very rich businessman and his master. Seeing how disrespectful the business man was, the monk was angry. But his master kept smiling.

When the conversation was over, the monk asked the master,

“Master, how can you let him treat you like that? He thinks he is much higher than you, he’s so full of pride, and greed. How can you be so patient? I cannot help but to resent him!”

In response, the master patted him on the shoulder.

“Look deeper, and see; behind every pride is the fear of not being acknowledged by others; behind every greed is the fear of lack or losing something. Seeing that fearful man, I cannot help but to feel compassion toward him; and wish he is freed from such sufferings.”

Hearing this, the monk was silent.

Have a happy mind

Many experiences are universal yet, must be discovered and rediscovered by each of us at our own pace.  We allow wisdom to reveal itself through us when we are ready and willing to accept it.  We each weave our own tapestry of life by making choices. How to maintain a happy mind?

1) Break free of the traps of the mind: Let go of the past, stop focusing attention on fear and the future. This releases you from ties binding you to karma/ family histories (recover the 'original self'). As identities are seen as the masks they are and shed, personal histories shrink and fade.

2) Be aware of and let go of attachment to inner possessions; judgments, thoughts, values, and ideas about right and wrong.  Notice everyone is a teacher pointing to existing contentment.

3) Break free of the traps of the body/ impermanent world. Thinking about doing anything is the hard part. Notice how the mind stalls and postpones things. Taking action itself is easy.

4) Explore the true nature of freedom & what it means to be 'liberated in life.' Notice you deny the ultimate freedom. You only step beyond parameters after you create them and grow aware.

5) Bring together the elements of a fragmented existence.  Each person who is open and receptive grows aware of an inner pilgrimmage and unique experiences with Spirit.

6) Be here in this present moment in mindfulness and kindness.

Somebody is here

At some point in your life, you may be motivated to take steps to "become a somebody."  You may develop the idea that in order to be known, to leave a legacy, to do worthwhile things, you cannot be a nobody. If you relate to this, an underlying restlessness is intepreted by the mind as dissatisfaction. What if there is another reason for this apparent unrest?

What if somebody is already here?  What if that somebody is reaching out for conscious recognition of its existence?  What if imbalance is your body's way of letting you know you are not valuing true self? What if everything that you feel invites you to see your life from different points of view so you rediscover what love and freedom truly feel like?

If you feel inspired by a new calling, have the desire to take course, certification or qualification, know that every choice or pursuit is always helping you in some way. If you feel compelled to change careers or cities because you outgrow a dream or activity, that's your perogative. If you feel drawn to leave a job or put a relationship on hold in order to assist sick family members, this decision is as valid as any other.  Only the inner judge prompts you to believe otherwise. Are you  missing the bigger picture?

Stop where you are. Take a moment.  Explore deeper reasons for your current focus.  If you totally forget the bigger picture and only experience life close up, you can also opt to put down the magnifying glass.  See what else is here.  Without the judge, we're all the same.

"Its only after we've lost everything that we're free to do anything." -Chuck Palahniuk
