How does an NDE change you?

Near-death-experience (NDE) is an offbeat phenomenon that perplexes some people, intrigues or scares others. A spirit dimension  can be hard to believe.  Many humans do not see.  Not everyone realizes to what degree fear controls the mind.

If the mind tells you to seek proof for things, then you may not grasp reasons you resist or distrust. To sense unseen worlds exist means you sense they are guided by their own principles, laws, and values.  You alter how you choose to think and feel.

Regardless of whether you recall having an NDE yourself, experiencers are teachers.  You learn what you are ready to accept.  How does the NDE concept or experience change you?

1) Returning souls relax more and surrender to the inevitable.

2) They sense limitless possibilities remain unacknowledged.

3) When you think you want turns out to be irrelevant.

4) It is never too late to return to physical life or to change.

5) A place beyond what you know is always waiting for you.

6) Suddenly, the fear of death inside you no longer exists.

7) You choose to live life to the fullest, in time you are given.

8) Cooperation rather than competition makes a loving point.

9) Browing knowledge and sharing it matters. This stays in you.

10) Love is the answer. Convert this truism to living truth.

It would be lovely to be certain that NDE are not some answer or effect of the process that leads to death, but to be honest I'm not sure about the whole thing.

Miguel, your curiosity about NDEs influences why you found this post and felt compelled to write. Follow up on your own interest and apparent indecision. Borrow a book from your local library or, obtain additional material in other ways. As you read further, you gain insight into reasons for your own self-doubt as well as reasons to consider shifting perspectives. Thought stems from you.

To my knowledge I have not had an NDE but I am certain others have and every account is they are forever changed in a most postitive way.

I have had quite a lot of death in my young life, both a brother and a sister and I do believe that has made me appreciate this realm so much and not be too afraid of what lies ahead for me on another plane.

I do not fear death, but then again it is not on my doorstep - I know I have things to do

Jannie, human beings react differently to death of people who are close to them. Some people grieve and others see no reason to be sad. They sense loved ones are a peace. Siblings are known to reconnect on different planes. A person need only believe to evolve to know what is possible. Every experience of birth and death offers meaningful lessons for all about love. You may not predict all outcomes even when all information is available to you.

This said, it is reassuring to refer to roles of Norns as Norse spinning goddesses. They represent past, present and future visions. They are guardians of the World Tree. Norse mythology describes them as the most powerful of all beings. They determine the fate and destiny of all beings. These spirits are connected with the modern method of casting runes. Each rune is cast, or a traditional 3-card tarot spread, to echo the tense voice of each Norn.

Patricia, death is a human assumption reinforced in many cultures. Yet, as you point out, not everyone buys into the illusion. Philosophers and scientists attempt to explain consciousness. Other people experience the authenticity of NDEs. They are on another plane of energy vibration that permits a completely different perspective and grasp of reality. Proof is the inner knowing. Mindsight or transcendenatal awarenes emerges as a hidden capacity. As you awaken, you no longer doubt. You just know.

I recently shared in my blog a story of how my grandmother had gone through such an experience and how it really changed the way she viewed life. And indeed, the experience allowed her to see life in a different light. The fear of death no longer existed inside her. She lived a happy and fulfilling life thereafter.

leafless, thanks for sharing that story. Each person determines the authenticity of NDEs in his or her own way. SOme people question endlessly. Practical experience leads people to stop doubting NDEs. Survivors often observe in vivid detail what is going on around them when they are suposedly deceased, then return to share profound insights with the living. The inner calm and love energy retained by NDE survivors are truly incredible.
