3 Tips to settle life's shake-ups

When life seems to get shaken up, familliar ways of living no longer work.  The tendency is to seek external reasons and find ways to settle things back into "normal."  In fact, the only way to respond to shake ups and have any lasting impact, is to address what this tells us about the state of our inner world.  As part of our coaching program, we explore this in detail as well as identify personalized ways forward.  For the purpose of this article, consider these 3 tips:

1. Identify emotional needs

This implies not only identifying needs such as belonging, autonomy, connection and acceptance, but also what prevents us from recognizing and satisfying these needs so we can release resistance.

2. Investigate links to energy anatomy

Every human being has energy anatomy.  This connects coherent mind-body and spirit functions. Each of our energy centres functions individually and together in varied ways. Blockages create congestion and block energy flow. This affects life in the physical world and what perception and experience we access. It pays to explore signs and signals in the body and how this impacts mind-body awareness.

3. Practice Mindfulness

Tuning into life's shake-ups invites practising mindfulness. As we pay closer attention to what is happening within, we begin to see the nature of our projections. To explore components of our emotions, we can practice mindful acceptance of each one.  This involves recognizing and accepting sensations, watching thoughts, labelling feelings and noticing urges as they arise.

5 Tips to Usher in a New reality

Notice what happens as you truly begin to listen, sit with energy and emotions. Change is allowed to occur.

Take 5 steps to usher in a new reality.

1. Connect with us.

We invite you to take a unique personal inventory.  Shift to focus on things in terms of energy and energetic signatures. This reveals how you respond to every challenge you encounter, every adversity you are willing to face, becomes part of an intricately woven vibrational frequency that is shared with all others.

2. Sharpen your discernment

As you sharpen discernment, you naturally tune into the most beneficial vibrations of the past and use them to ground your present. There is something within each of us that guides us to what brings us the most joy and benefits the collective.  Remembering personal truth allows us to let go of all that resists or blocks that.

3. Learn to change the timeline of your vision

As you shift from an individual to a more unified way of seeing, higher self reveals itself as collective reality. The higher self is always choosing the dimensional reality (timelines) that best serve(s) the soul. This higher power installed within that is meant to guide us into the most loving and beneficial choices and paths for everyone. Yet, some adopt a physically-focused reality that causes a less-than worthy focus. If this happens, belief structures get tained or stagnate. Others (who are not physically-focused) adopt other kinds of realities. Shifting desire makes incredible non-physical impact on physical manifestation.

4. Increase present moment awareness

Being present relates to how we view everything right now. Spiritual awakening is an alchemical process that happens when we consider self in relation to God rather than God in relation to self. Each of us decides how to see ourselves. On a fundamental level, this is a bandwidth of light, a dimensional frequency, that we operate on.  Spiritual practices are tools to activate our DNA. Some people are regularly timeline-travelling or timeline jumping.  Some people have grounded higher dimensional realities and hold or ground grids of light. We ground realities individually and collectively. The more present we are, the more power we have to shift individually and collectively.

5. Note resistance amplifies resistance.

We have been so suppressed in our emotional bodies, that it can feel gut-wrenching to consider, discuss and actually make relationship and situational change. In order to blend emotional energy and use it as an energetic tool, we must be open to experience. When focused on the left brain hemisphere, we become seekers and physically-focused until the moment we are ready to act from a more balanced, integrated place.  To allow emotions to flow in 'real time' consciously is the highest form of manifestation is the highest vibration in which we can operate.  If we can constructively express emotions, we always come back to harmony. Every moment is an opportunity to come int balance with this. Is this a collective release of density? We can be clearing density and also grab onto it and bring it back, or not allow it to clear

Grow through 12 Universal Laws

Being aware of the 12 Universal Laws and putting them into practice is part of the process of self-growth. Imagine how growing aware of each law, and putting it into practice, has different impact on your life.

1. Law of Divine Oneness

The Law of Divine Oneness highlights core interconnectness. It says that beyond our senses, every thought, action, and event is in some way connected to all else.

Imagine how this law can take shape in your experience. What if youshow more compassion and acceptance toward anything that confuses or challeges you. What would love do? How is everything you do guiding you?

2. Law of Vibration

At a base level, verything is energy in constant motion, vibrating at a specific frequency. This applies to matter. This law says that our vibrational frequency offers insights into our life evolution and direction.

For example, you may have a vision to engage in an activity but opportunities or clients appear and fall through. When thoughts, words adn deeds are not aligned, you may be undermining your own efforts unconsciously.  Many techniques exist to raise vibration, be more authentic and true to yourself.

3. Law of Correspondence

This law states that patterns repeat throughout the universe, and on a personal level, our reality is a mirror of what's happening inside us at that moment. Consider the phrase, 'As above, so below.'

In another way, everything your experience is a projection of what is unfolding within you.  Any judgements you make about others, any discomfort you feel, is all pointing to work you are invited to do on yourself to grow more accepting and integrate your inner shadow

4. Law of Attraction

This law is often linked to manifesting. It says that like attracts like, and you get what you focus on. Not only that, but you have to believe what you're seeking is possible to obtain. It is similar to the law of vibration in this way; it's important to learn how to vibrate at a level that attracts what you're seeking.

To think you want one thing but behaviour differently, sends a confusing message to the universe.  Being consistent is the key. Using conscious intention is a mindful practice that helps.  Also growing aware of thought, words and actions is just as important as making the uncosncious, conscious so you can send a more convincing message to the universe.

5. Law of Inspired Action

Closely related to the law of attraction, the law of inspired action is all about taking those real, actionable steps to invite what we want into our lives. Often the inspiration comes from within.

Applying this law is all about paying closer attention, tuning in, and creating space for inner guidance.

6. Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy

This law states that on an energetic level, everything in the universe is constantly evolving or fluctuating. Every action is preceded by a thought, with thoughts themselves having the power to eventually manifest in our physical reality.

Everything you  encounter has an energy signature and is interacting with you energetically. Negative people or heavy environments may tire you out or deplete you. being around inspiring people uplifts your energy. Higher frequencies transmute lower ones when applied with intention. This in mind, as we get in touch with our own energy vibration and let go of what we outgrow, this allows us to have a more uplifting energetic impact on the whole.

7. Law of Cause and Effect

This law highlights the direct relation between actions and events. What's important to note here, according to Kumar, is we often can't see the effects right away, but they will come back around.

Another way to view this law is as the ripple effect. Everything you think, feel and do sends a ripple into the energetic universe much like aflat rock you skip on the surface of a body of water. Imagine the conscious impact you could create by recognizing that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Everything you do has consequences that play out, some you can envision, and others you may not.

8. Law of Compensation

The law of compensation relates closely to the law of attraction and the law of correspondence. "You reap what you sow" is the main take-away, with the law stating your efforts will always come back to you positively. Contributing to a goal allows the universe to work with you to achieve it.

To apply this law, meditate on service and what or where you are called to share or give back from yourself. For example, one woman decided to prioritie her physical and mental well-being and booked herself into a health retreat. She committed time, energy, money to workng on better nutrition, fitness and and therapy for mental issues. Her life outside the retreat had fallen apart. "Out of the blue" friends she had not seen in over a year learned she was there, offered to visit, and after learning of her situation, offered her new accommodation and a job for when she left.  The universe responds to energy and intention you send out.

9. Law of Relativity

This law suggests that we are inclined to compare things in our world, but in reality, everything is neutral. Relativism exists in all things, and in the end, meaning comes down to our perspective and perception.

Applying this law can help us understand challenges and see the blessing, gift or lesson they have to offer us. Step back for a moment. Close your eyes. Focus attention on some situation that bothers you. Nlotice feelings arising within you and recognize you are not these feelings.  As you change perspective, and breathing rhythm, the feelings you tune into and attitude you adopt, can change.

10. Law of Polarity

This law says that everything in life has an opposite; good and evil, love and fear, warmth and cold. The key is understanding these are all two sides of the same coin.

What if contrast brings wisdom and clarity? Imagine a situation where you gain new insight into one emotion from the experience of others.  Take note of your inner rhythms and be gentle with yourself. Listen to how you feel and change pace and focus as it dawns what brahviours or choices no longer serve your greatest good.

12. Law of Gender

The law of gender has to do with the masculine and feminine energy of all things. The western world in particular favors or rewards left-brained, patriarchal ways of doing. Reaching balance between masculine and feminine energies can help you live more authentically.

Imagine you tune into the right hemisphere of your brain, the source of creative inspiration. Where might you be stifling its genius? What if you could engage feeling-based intuitive living and apply heart-mind based ways of living in the flow.  What would this look like? how would it take shape?

13 Benefits of facing your inner shadows

The inner shadow can be viewed as aspects of our true self we come to reject.  We resist these parts of our personality and do not allow ourselves to see them. When we, as children, internalize messages in our subconscious, they can take shape in adult life as emotional triggers. We may tell ourselves we do not know why we react as we do. Yet, a hidden part does know. We often make choices out of fear.

For instance, if one of your shadows formed around speaking your truth, when people around you speak openly and honestly, this may evoke restlessness, resentment, even terror. You may feel threatened but unclear as to why, and disregard the emotions and discomfort.

Upon deeper self-reflection, hiding your feelings may be an unconscious strategy to avoid suffering. It may point to a fear of safety or survival. This may cause you to stop speaking up, to decide your feelings are unimportant, that you are unlovable, invisible or flawed. Such misperceptions arise from denying shadows.

Consider 13 Benefits of facing your shadows:

1. Grow aware of your triggers

Noticing triggers is a step to joining the dots between your thoughts, feelings. They offer clues to where a sense of  wholeness is fractured. They remind us that it is our thoughts about the way things should be that make our lives difficult or uncomfortable.  People we encounter will continue to press our buttons until we realize what it is we do not wish to know about ourselves, yet.  They guide us to our source of freedom.  Any situation that evokes discomfort is what we seek, an entrance into a lost or unseen part of ourselves.

2. Re-activate your feeling centres

Many people have lost touch with their inner truth. They forget what it feels like. You may be conditioned to doubt or second guess true feelings. When taught to favor the left brain hemisphere, we favor the logical, rational role modelling or social beliefs and behaviours we have been given. We may downplay or devalue our right brain and creative capacities or "other ways of seeing" outside the conditioned comfort zone. This may relate to society's ideas of which life decisions "are best for us." Left-brain ideas are ego-based. Focusing on external advice or ignoring signs and signals of our bodies loses touch with the feeling truth or inner harmony unrelated to ego.

3. Stop being overly optimistic

Being overly optimistic suggests we are missing part of the bigger picture. When we only see the good, we reject aspects of self. Sometimes we are taught to be overly positive and avoid the negative.  Avoidance is a defense mechanism and reveals something is missed. As you notice a tendency to favor the positive, shadow-work is useful.  Ignoring things increases their density. Look at recurrent nightmares. What we resist, persists to invite us to make the unconscious, conscious.  Manifestations of what you reject grow stronger. If you resist your dark side, it grow more solid, takes shape in ways you cannot ignore.

4. Realize you could be right, or could be free

As you explore deeper reasons for anger and fear, this can trigger moments of awakening that lead to greater authenticity, creativity, and emotional freedom. Finding pleasure in the way things are, rather than the way you think they should be, inspires others to act in ways that surprise us. being open to deeper insight into yourself accelerates self- growth.

5. Let go of desires for love, approval & appreciation

As we disconnect from feeling centres and subtle senses, this is like overriding our inner knowing.  As we face the sense of conflict that arises, we begin to recognize that any desires we hold are unnecessary.  That is, we are what we are seeeking. This is the beginning of letting go of desire for love, approval and appreciation because it dawns we are never missing anything.

6. Recognize spiritual bypassing

In the case that we justify going against our feelings by saying "this is an exercise in uncondicional love & forgiveness," this may turn out to be a case of spiritual bypassing (SB).  SB is  is like any other form of avoidance that rewards us with a false feeling of security and happiness, while undermining our deeper path of self-growth and transformation. John Welwood coined the term, 'spiritual bypassing' to mean: "the tendency to use spiritual ideas and practices to sidestep or avoid facing unresolved emotional issues, psychological wounds, and unfinished developmental tasks." Making the unconscious conscious is part of spiritual integration.

7. Integrate heart and soul

Bringing uncomfortable issues to the surface is helping to realize that emotions only have a hold over us when we allow it. Timeless practices such as meditation, mantras, sacred geometry, journalling, automatic writing, dream journalling and immersing in nature help us to integrate the deepest desires of the heart and soul. This draws our attention to any illusions of separaton we perpetuate in thought, word and deed.

8.  Rebuild inner trust

Imagine the case where you befriend someone and they seem like one type of person and then later reveal they behave in ways that make you feel uncomfortable. If you trust your feelings, and are true to yourself, that friendship may diminish or disappear from your life. Whereas if you go against your inner compass, you are eroding the trust you have in yourself.

9. Strengthen listening

In life, there may be occasions where you feel unheard or ignored by people at work, in family or even in passing.  Being aware of feeling ignored is tuning into deeper  reasons and buried feelings of resentment and sadness about being devalued.  As you live more based on feelings, your being feels more heard and the external world reflects this back.

10. Sharpen intuition

Intuition is the language of the soul, your essence.  Living fully requires tuning in and living soely based on intuition without over-riding our inner knowing.

11. Jumpstart self-rediscovery

Until deep self-reflection happens, you may spend a great deal of time researching, creating or changing a sense of purpose and not really feel a sense of lasting clarity or direction. Purpose may simply be related to  skills or experience you seem to have and overlook internal cues. Self-discovery only happens when you are tuned into your feelings.

12. Unleash inner genius

To become the best version of you, and truly free of what holds this back from realizing inner genius, the path involves uncovering and integrating your inner shadow aspects. They undermine your transformation into into the physical. Call if your soul's destiny or whatever you like.  The most authentic version of you already exists but it is up to you to take steps to experience transfiguration. Every being has a unique path.

13. Accept yourself fully

Accepting who you are at the core involves living in alignment. Every journey to complete self-love is unique. Some paths can involve soul retrieval.  The key is to walk the Path and know situations that present only change from the moment we have learned and integrated what those energies or lessons have to teach us. Accepting yourself fully allows you to turn inward and experience the peace that already exists within.  That peace is immovable, unmoving, ever-present.
