Reconnect with spontaneity
Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at 10:39AM Notice the nature of soul-level spontaneity versus mind-driven motivation. Which do you favor or ignore? One way to deepen spiritual practice is to sense a journey to expand and serve others emerges from the innermost core. Some people are inspired by altruism. Others are motivated to act based on fear or something in-between. The world transforms through our changes in attitude, perception and behaviour. Whether you choose to awaken to the nature and extent of energy flowing through you, is up to you.

So today, service towards others is a part that is very natural and dear to me as well. I think tapping into nature, and the nature of our existence can awaken that greatly indeed.
I do feel this is in our inner most core.
I needed to look altruism up, to see the difference betwen this and fear driven or mind driven and to connect it to spontaneity.
Spontaneity feels like it is our first response, without mind, without thought, altruism then would be service without mind or thought, and I picture all the stories of mothers dashing out into the road to save children from cars, or drivers swerving to avoid critters on the road :) like instinstively doing so, spontaneitly doing so, and when asked after what went through the mind before doing something as this, knowing it was maybe just for the survival of the other.
I ask mysellf, "What are 10 little things I can do for others today?" Even if they are little things, they all add up to Cosmic Synchronicity.
Wonderful reminder.
