Open into the kaleidoscope

The deepest part of you knows the vibration of a given experience and how it resonates with inner being.  The mind interprets what it sees and thinks meaning into being. A simple stroll in the garden invites you to attune to every aspect of the experience or, be selective about what stands out.  The aromas of flowers may consume your focus.  Perhaps the ladybugs tickle tiny hairs and skin as they crawl up your leg. You may sense the presence of enchanted beings under toadstools or in more obvious places. When a kaleidoscope of butterflies appears and disppears in your scope of awareness, you glimpse openings in dimensions.  You allow and resist.

See through your questions

Every choice you make invites you to awaken to varying degrees.  Ask what prompts you to ask questions. This is grounded in the belief you do not know and that you perceive limitations and needs.  In reality, nothing is known and nothing is needed.  On the surface, a person is restless and anxious about what does not yet appear to be done.  Beneath the surface, everything exists in perfect peace.  Problems are perceived as you define and limit the self.  When you choose to create time and space, you cannot know freedom until you recognize and abandon self-created illusions.

Awaken to false interpretation

Every moment, you have infinite opportunities  to recognize you are not the mind, you never were, and never can be.  To identify with what does not exist is part of the process of awakening to false interpretation.  You are shifting energy, focus and outgrowing beliefs you are ready to let go.

You may have heard of Chuang Tzu who dreamt he was a butterfly and awoke depressed and in a quandry.  He is unsure whether he is a butterfly dreaming he is Chuang Tzu or Chuang Tzu dreaming he is a butterfly.  This story prompts you to reflect on what is real and tangible to you.

When you awaken from any dream, you are invited to increase awareness. You are invited to reach a place where thought does not exist. When the mind is quiet, thoughts do not exist. The gap between thoughts is you. Within that gap, neither Chuang Tzu nor the butterfly exist. So long as thoughts exist, the mind is present. It is a teacher but it is not you. Be alert between thoughts.  Emotions are your guide. You know what feels right.

See good in everything

You may know what it like to have a dream or endeavour that you focus on whole-heartedly with initiatives.  When that dream does not pan out as the mind plans, or not on your projected timeline, part of you may wonder why. You may ask what you could do differently next time.  The mind is conditioned to expect disppointment, to focus on what does not unfold.  And yet, there is also the opportunity to see the good.

After the expected roller coaster of emotion, you may come to tell yourself everything happens for the best. Everything is a stepping stone to the unforeseen. You find the silver lining. You see the mind tricks you into believing its possible to do something wrong. You only ever do things right. As you step back and take the perspective of the universe, you are always travelling. The longest journey is inward where you awaken to the feeling of being and accept whatever comes.

Shift to feel meaning

Nothing transforms your perception like stepping back and seeing everything through the eyes of love. This ability never leaves you completely although you shut yourself off from it more often than you realize. Notice that seeing through the eyes of love means your sense of judgment has less of a hold over you and it gradually fades and vanishes.

Notice what you view was important and necessary shifts with your sense of who you truly are. As you liberate self from the linear and logical, you begin to experience a new kind of freedom. As you realize you are always loved and appreciated, the ambitious part of you stops seeking. You now know what you are does not have to capture your attention through your experience in the world. It reaches you even during ordinary moments. You shift from seeker to finder. You shift to feel all you require inside.
