Get ready to shatter those myths

Whatever it is you think you cannot do, this actually means you choose not to do it for reasons hidden from conscious thought.  You may fear exerting effort, feel uncomfortable about making a change or resist doing something that may not meet expectations. Whatever it is, get ready to shatter those myths you imagine into being.  From right now, they are no longer attached to you.  Things are changing fast.

Well, what are you waiting for? The moment is here to identify and transcend the illusions that convince you to feel less than you are.  Take out a sheet of paper, a tape recorder or, do whatever it is that makes sense to get it out of the system. Express yourself.  Then, stand back and review those emotions or sentiments from the observer perspective.  How do you choose to Transform Your Life?

I just LOVE the idea of getting the stream of thoughts out on recorder, just flowing with what comes up, unedited. Talk to myself about things -- wants, desires, dreams. And listen back.

The "not meeting expectations" one holds us back, if we let it. Sometimes we are afraid to even start -- but how free and easy we feel when we put the first step into action!

Liara,
This is so true, we can do anything once we remove our own self install obstacles. It is amazing what you can do when you want to and when you remove the self imposed limitations.

Jannie, voicing how you feel and learning to truly listen is a sure way to raise awareness. Some people also use journals or journal exercises within self-help books as a means to awaken to inner self. Every revelation is on the path to meaningful growth.

Mark, everyone we meet helps us draw conscious attention to how we overlook or misunderstand aspects of true self. To be willing to notice something bothers you and to opt to go deeper to figure out why is a huge step in anyone's awakening.

Hi Liara ā€“ certainly things are changing fast and I so want to shatter those myths .. perhaps now Iā€™m on the way or at least at the starting gate.
A few important things are in the wheels of process .. I need to fast track them and then I can start shattering those myths and transform my life .. yes ā€“ definitely a nearing goal.

& yes - I do have a tape recorder to use when I'm with my mother, perhaps my brain is clear enough now to start utilising it - & my mother is asleep or half asleep that it won't matter if I'm nattering away in the background. I draft posts and letters (normal) ones now in my head .. and they're not much use - til they're caught somewhere! Thanks - Hilary

Hilary, great to hear you are using different tools as a means to express and convey the ideas that are arising inside you. Self-expression is an effective way to get-to know the true self, to strengthen the perspective of inner observer and to share.
