5 Ways to respond to the inner mystic

When you have an experience you do not readily understand, you still have the power to decide how to respond.  Human beings forget that they hold profound, inner power.  This also means one can evolve to sense, acknowledge or expand energy vibration.  It extends from how you accept or reject yourself.

In essence, you are in charge of what is happening, how you choose to view a given occurrence. You unconsciously determine what serves your spiritual side and what does not.  You choose your principal focus and which emotions unfold.  To discern things does not mean you feel worthy or committed to the process.  How do you respond to the inner mystic?

1) Detect unfamiliar sensations.  This might lead you to hesitate, hold back from embracing and accepting for fear of being judged.  Such a reaction implies you have not yet detached fully from what does not matter.  All in good time.

2) Jump to conclusions.  To assume you know the depth and significance of all thoughts or visions that appear in mind, may be premature.  A process transpires to encourage you to shed beliefs and move into the realm of pure knowing.  A wise being recognizes the difference between higher truths and untruths.

3) Opt to be constrained by external forces.  You may simply deny anything is out of the ordinary.  You can decide you transcend perceived outer circumstances or, evolve further to recognize conditions are imagined to distract you from what lies beyond them. To shift mindset and energy vibration enables you to understand choices differently.

4) Assume no coincidences.  Such a mindset is a stage in learning to let go of conditioning absorbed in the physical realm.  As one evolves to sense every incident arises from the non-physical, higher realms, one begins to remove the veil.

5) Recognize channelled energy. To discern you channel energy confronts you with choices. You direct it to negative thoughts and behaviours or discipline the mind in other ways. This ability enables you to take responsibility for the nature of transformation in your life and perspective. Holding love as the deepest truth allows a person to let go of fear and see beyond time, space and human-imposed limits. Open dimensions.

"You are not a human being in search of a spiritual experience. You are a spiritual being immersed in a human experience." –Teilhard de Chardin

Liara,

One of the things that I commonly tell the women I work with (women are addicts, who have been abused, etc) is that they ARE in charge of their own thought patterns--and your post here made me think of that right away.

It can take time and persistence to change negative thought patterns--but over time, we can definitely train our minds to view ourselves (and our world) more positively.

Hi Liara,

We do have a profound inner power to create our world. Every thought, every action has led us to where we are this moment.

Sometimes those unfamiliar sensations are our intuition telling us to pay attention - to change the outcome before it happens.

I love that we choose our energy and thoughts. On an index card in purple I have:

I can think something different.
There are other ways to look at this.
It's possible that my worries are wrong.

It sits on my desk inviting me to remember.

Tess, purple is spiritual and reminds you to keep growing and progressing. You exist to learn about overcoming perceived difficulty and to stretch into your highest self. How you grasp form and formless enables you to become increasingly open-minded and non-judgmental.

Alexys, another way to view unfamiliar sensations is to realize they are simply parts of your true self you have chosen to temporarily block out or ignore. Each human being is blessed with free will. One can use it to forge love and happness or something else. To recognize you are whole and loved is a step toward remembering what it is like to be fully aware. Everything is perfect regardless how it unfolds. Life experience deepens as you realize you are forever loved and have unwavering intrinsic value. Improvisation becomes beautiful very moment.

Melinda, the power of awareness grows with one's willingness to experience love and support from complete strangers. A fundamental message about incarnation in the physical world concerns empowerment. To choose to inspire hope in others helps them rise above fear and discomfort about a given circumstance. Dissolvng fear in one area of your life carries over to others. As you evolve to see what you see with new eyes, you grow less concerned about what you do not see. You deliberately transmute pain into joy right where you are. Being present is how you expand and go with the flow of energy as it is.

And it is so important to allow oneself to flow with the natural force of energy rather than trying to change it or work against it. If we do go with the natural flow of the universe, I believe we are rarely led in the wrong direction.

I also loved the insight and clarity you offered on the last post of my blog--I thank you for that and I know many of my readers will as well.

Take care,

Melinda

I am assuming no coincidences?

Melinda, as you say, it is desirable to learn to go with the flow of energy. Human beings tend to want to resist what the universe is telling them. Rather than assume you must work harder, faster and be more determined in the same area where you are at, what is happening may in fact encourage you to shift the focus of your energies completely. Resisting is a conditioned tendency and a hard habit to break. Yet, habits are made to be broken.

Patricia, every human being is in the process of coming to terms with conditioned beliefs and learning to shed what no longer applies. No such thing as accidents. Every state and event is planned to the extent that it offers a useful lesson. You grasp a lesson and reasons for it dissolve.

Hi Liara. Coincidences are fun! I'm starting to learn to expect and anticipate them. But they continue to pop up playfully and surprise me anyway. I don't think I'd want it any other way.

Holding love as the deepest truth, and being free to let go of fear - what a soul-reaching thought. This is a place I deeply want to get to, and I think I'm held back at the same time. What's holding me back from truly experiencing this? A question only I can answer...
April 1, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterLance
Davina, to recognize the playfulness of love energy is to tap into one's incredible lightness of being. To hold or maintain such an uplifting perspective consistently is where many human beings falter. Anything other thn love and peace is a self-created illusion. As such, many people choose to be masters of self-created illusion yet, remain ignorant or unobservant of their own strength. To underestimate your inner power keeps you where you are and temporarily prevents you from experiencing what is.
