10 ways to take charge of your life

Many people would like to take more of an active role in defining their destiny. They do not always realize they can do this anytime they choose. You design and revise road maps of choices. Consider these ten ways to take charge of your life;

1) Notice how you think. The subjects you hone in on offer signs about what makes sense to you. Was it someone who drew your attention there? Learn to listen to your core self.

2) Realize thoughts shape feelings. It takes practice to sift throughthoughts andconnect them to how you feel. Even nothing comes from somewhere. Learn to recognize the shape you are in relates directly to what you choose to feel.

3) Decode your fears. As you learn to focus on the present, you begin to sense a new level of mindfulness. It becomes possible to discern the difference between healthy fight-or-flight response to valid threats and unnnecessary worries. Learn to detect and dissolve fearful imaginings that distract.

4) Align focus with intention. If you are unclear where you are or where you are going, it is more difficult tochannel your energy in meaningful ways. Getting to know yourself empowers focus. Realign thoughts and feelings with deliberate intent.

5) Be straight. You may have heard talkers and doers exist. Do you talk directly to people who bother you or avoid confrontations? As you learn to be more honest with yourself, talking comes more easily. Learn the meaning of core honesty.

6) Shift away from complaining. Listen closely.When you speak or write, is your reflex tobelittle or downplay efforts torave with enthusiasm? Negative energy drains your power. Learnall thought and feeling is controlled withdiscipline.

7) Switch from being problem-focused to solutions-oriented. Growing awareness allows you to realize the nature and slant of your perceptions. When your mind wanders to obstacles, you benefit from learning how and when to stop.

8) Recognize all emotions are your friends. Raising consciousness helps you realize that all emotions teach you. As you learn to let go of expectations and labelsfor particular emotions, you realize that each offers you valuable insight.

9) Stop ignoring your physiology. Your body constantly sends you signals about your health and well-being. Your heart rate, level of fatigue, temperature and energy are sample physical messages. When you feel under the weather, this draws attention toareas that require more attention.

10) Release self-defense mechanisms.More often than you realize, your mind goes on the defensive. People will say things and your conditioned impulse will be to correct, toprove your right, and establish some level of superiority. In truth, doing nothing takes charge. Learn to channel energy wisely.

10) Accept you are unaware of all answers. Although its said all answers lie within the self, that does not mean every person accesses all his own inner wisdom all at once. Learning to take charge of your life is a process. As you evolve to keep perspective, you nurture hope and self-acceptance. They empower you to transcend unwanted conditions and mindsets.

6 Ways to re-align what ails you

Many people who feel discomfort or unease do not always realize it translates details of energy states. To consult an energy healer is one way to help uncover and localize some of your core imbalances. Consider these exercises you can do alone to help open your mind and explore some core issues;

1) Heed "ah-ha" moments. A series of events will lead to a moment of realisation. This may trigger a series of painful experiences you had repressed or, other intense emotions selectively disregarded and forgotten. Difficult memories emerge as you admit you are not being true to self. Emotions present as a gauge for you to learn why you generate them.

2) Raise self-awareness. Notice how certain life choices weaken your sense of core foundations, principles and values. Recall a situation where you did not listen to your inner voice. Reminisce of the stress or turbulence that ensued. Feel the energy imbalance. Use this to identify how beliefs formed to justify what you did not wish to do, but did anyway.

3) Realize what you resist. What you think is authentic or real in life progressively dissolves. It may be a condition, job, relationship, whatever clarifies who you believe you are.  As you evolve to recognize which ideas have been instilled, you gradually peel those away to uncover what you resist.

4) Restore faith in yourself.  A shift in awareness can lead to sudden feelings of betrayal and identity crisis. As you begin to grasp how you create and perpetuate illusions, you can choose to replace distorted ideas and initiate self-healing.

5) Build resilience. Some people relate staying power to developing physical endurance. To expand, incorporate psychological and spiritual angles.  Decide to nuture positive thoughts and accept what you cannot change outside yourself. Cumulative effects are incredibly powerful.  As you gain insight into core rhythms and energies, you begin to grasp how the vibration and frequency of your energy body affect how you feel and what you perceive.

6) Brainstorm harmony. Each person has a sense of what creates and takes away from harmony.  Energy you experience travels in waves, patterns and movements that affect your changing states. Some experiences will seem more challenging.  Yet, those are  the ones that are most enriching.  They invite you to stretch and redefine balance and well-being.  As this process of re-aligning becomes more conscious and deliberate, you sense harmony that defies words.

5 Ways to recapture the essence of magic

Magic is a topic that evokes all kinds of emotions. Human beings are often at a loss for words to express the power and influence of this concept on their everyday lives. Consider these five ways to recapture the essence of magic now;

1) Magic reflects hindsight. One view invites you to reflect on the evolution of perceived triumphs of modern Science.  Post the seventeenth century, the umbrella of Science absorbed much of what was assumed to be mystical. Magic has become a synonymn for areas of 'imprecise' Science not fully grasped, like astrology, parapsychology, quantum and metaphysics.

2) Magic demystifies nature. Another view suggests magic translates into correspondences among natural phenomena. These include universal laws like polarities, cause and effect, and degrees of energy vibration. Certain mathematical, spatial and multisensual analyses are purported to help control nature. Such unchanging principles help to explain what you are and why you exist. Learning to align and harmonize actions reveals natural abilities you have always had yet, choose to forget.

3) Magic invites confrontation. Another view prompts you to revisit unexplained concepts and the psychology of misunderstanding. Some people prey upon fears, gullibility, and preconditioned beliefs of others. Ask yourself why you would believe or disregard certain happenings that appear to contradict your own conditioning. What prompts you to reduce something that evokes discomfort in you to logical inquiry?

4) Magic explains supernatural miracles. Another view is raises awareness of human abilities to read energy vibration, to employ psychokinesis, telekinesis, and to dialogue with spirit who have passed over. What if your own view of an extraordinary event in the physical world does not surpass all known human or natural powers? What is presumed to be linked to a supernatural cause is a common or normal thing for beings who have reconnected with their inner selves.

5) Magic awakens you to masks of ego. Another view is that magic brings to light the possibility of experiences that contradict and reinforce ego. That is, magic offers a platform to launch fragmented and distorted thinking about illusions through black magic. It also enables you to become more conscious of all your attributes. In the latter, you grow to rise above thought and in the former, you fall beneath it.

10 Reasons to face your fear

Everyone experiences fear. What sets us apart are the reasons why we create it, the ways we choose to react and whether we choose to learn from it. You can develop practical exercises to build confidence and break down your own illusions. This has potential to shift your perception and more if you allow it.

Brace yourself: every instant, you choose to imagine reasons for fear. You decide whether or not it will control you. You opt to confront your fear or not. Your behaviour sends out energy. People read it. You are inviting them to tell you what you think of yourself. Your words, posture, and gestures mirror for something deeper. Consider these ten reasons to face your fear;

1) You never know where disppointment is taking you. To reflect on jobs, relationships or roles you feared losing, lost or left actually paints an encouraging picture. Note how versatile, resourceful and resilient you become. Conditions stretch you to explore talents you never even knew you had. You accumulate knowledge in life stages and can share lessons. Your intrinsic value never changes. How aware you become determines how you share it and where this takes you.

2) You have reason to admire yourself. Exploring discomfort evokes intense feelings. Things may not appear to run smoothly. You may feel drained as you exert energy struggling against odds or an enemy you would prefer not to name. It may be a major inconvenience. And yet, underneath it all, your tenacity, staying power, and will to grow are astounding. Note where you have been got youwhere you are.

3) You can choose to reinvent yourself. Any turning point in your life invites you to rediscover your own courage. You are constantly gaining new insight into your personality and core nature. This helps you grasp which parts of you shape and perceive problems and which parts imagine how to solve them. As you choose to identify and develop certain traits and mask or disregard others, you reinvent how you view your strengths and weaknesses and what you manifest to the world.

4) You eliminate confusion. Just because you encounter fear, this does not mean you know why. The choice to explore possible reasons why enables you to dissolve misconceptions and eliminate confusion. This is also a means to learn how to atune to feelings inside yourself you did not notice before.

5) You raise awareness to new levels. Learning to step back and view fear from different angles enables you to increase your objectivity about yourself. This new awareness can carry over to how you viewother things. You may come to expand your perspective exponentially.

6) You redefine personal satisfaction. Human beings are on a silent quest to prove themselves. You have the power to create fear and also to use it to serve your own ends. Among your choices, you can opt to feel disoriented and negatively affected or, you can also decide to use fear to empower you on the path to greater independence, confidence, self-sufficency and self-mastery. You can draw the line before arrogance.

7) You move to sharpen self-discipline. As you learn you exert more power over your mind and control over your thoughts, you can learn to decide which thoughts to create and perpetuate and which ones to dissolve. As you discern what is not destructive or dangerous, you replace that with love.

8) You realize time is not your enemy.   Many people are unaware that perceived time is an illusion. Human beings create it for their own ends.  You decide if this will serve you and if so, how.  How long you sense a fear may increase the intensity and draw your attention to it more effectively.  Facing fear helps you begin to realize you are growing differently. Time and fear complement each other. To realize time is not your enemy enable you to sense how much it serves you.

9) You realize you can behave wiser. If you believe that you have finite amounts of time and energy, then you also believe what you can accomplish is limited and the time you have can become saturated.  As you decide to narrow the focus of how you think and what you do, then you learning to pay more attention to the demands you place on yourself.  You become more aware of how deliberate intent can be used to undermine or serve your own unconscious priorities.

10) You unveil the truth. People will jumpt to fear what they cannot readily explain or understand. Rather than accept something mysterious for what it is, rather than listen to your gut, you may deny or ignore possibilities that ly outside your comfort zone. Choosing to face your fear is an exercise in accepting levels of uncertainty.  It is an exercise in building faith and trust in phenomena you did not initially desire to see.  As you dissolve fear, you begin to sense differently. You expand the parameters of joy, bliss and open senses you forgot you had. You are already relearning how to use them.

Why is it that part of you fears the unknown?

Not everyone realizes the nature of the world of matter.  To fear the unknown is to fall prey to ignorance and self-doubt.  You exist in physical form because of spirit and things unseen.  Not permitting yourself to realize the Truth keeps you where you are.

When you ask people who admit fear of death or other aspects of life why they feel as they do, they often have no conclusive explanation.  They refer to conditioning by religious doctrrine or accept inclinations to worry about situations that may never arise.

Imagine how your perspective would change if you came to believe you could do nothing to disconnect you from your heritage.  Practice seeing beyond the assumptions of other people.  As you focus on events unfolding now, you are rewarded by character growth.

As Silver Birch says, "There is no experience that comes to the human soul, which rightly understood and rightly faced does not leave you better for it."

This reminds me of a phrase by Lao Tzu who said "A Journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step."  That phrase is perhaps the most well-known phrase of the Tao Te Ching.  As you change how you think, you realize how preventable certain kinds of thinking are.
