Contribute to my new dream ebook

Dream enthusiasts have been approaching me to compile a book a book about dreams, astral projection (also known as out-of-body-experiences-OBEs), lucid dreaming and more.

As it happens, I am in the process of completing an ebook project which will include dream analyses in different categories and exercises for the avid dreamer who desires to learn more. References will also be provided for research.

I invite blog readers to share dream expriences here as well as to let us know what sorts of questions you would like answered in this book. How has dream experience transformed you and ways you perceive the physical world?

Hi Liara .. that will be interesting to read. I know my mother (88) saw the light at the end of the tunnel .. and she wasn't ready .. that was 2 years ago .. before the Acute Brain Injurty Unit 'settled' her stroke condition; she sees people 'all the time' .. some she knows .. some she doesn't and our 'old' cat. So I believe there are other aspects to life, that I don't understand .. and will be really interested to read others' comments and your research and thoughts.

I have actually not given much thought at all to how my dream experiences have transformed me and / or the way I experience the physical world. I guess I am entering into a period as a student on this.

I do have a dream I'd like to share I dreamed last week but am a bit shy so perhaps I should e-mail it to you?

This sounds like an interesting read.. especially since I usually don't even remember my dreams. It feels as though I don't usually have them, though I'm more inclined to think that I have them and just don't remember.

Tabitha, tips and exercises to work on general dream recall are included in this coming ebook. The range of contents includes basic material as well as more advanced subjects and experiences. This offers readers insight into more and less familliar subjects and options to grow.

Jannie, everyone is a student and teacher. Feel free to email the dream. Consider keeping a dream journal by your bed. Record what you recall. Its a gradual process.

Hilary, everyone has the option to gain insight into dreams through personal experience and also through being open to learning about the experiences of others. One friend of mine continues to see luminescent beings passing though his bedroom wall. He is not crazy. He has no brain injury. In fact, his senses are expanding in parallel with his conscious awareness. Thanks for sharing.

Hi dear Liara, As you know I rarely read books, about things that I prefer to experience, BUT I sure look forward to anything you turn out. Especially your dream one. I am a, or have been told that what I do, is lucid dreaming.

But most of my dreams now seem far more than dreaming. They are a way of life, but something more than that. It's like I live in many worlds where wisdom and information is accessed and passed on, but also where I communicate with people who we call "dead". Or I communate with beings that I've never met but are so loving and are guiding me. Or I have warmings, solve problems or see creative projects of dream music or see what I need to do to heal someting in myself or another person.

So it is like this whole world I live in at night, and not only at night it is carried over into my day. It is all the time. The only difference is that during the day there are more distractions, but I still know that I am dreaming. So I look forward to seeing what you are doing. I think it will be quite exciting.

Thank you Liara,
Love, Robin

Was going to say. That I don't see it so much as dreaming but a state of "being". One that I believe we all live in and is who we ARE. I think like so many things it's a matter of aligning ourselves with what already exists. Which we are all doing in our own way and time as we "re-member" ourselves along our journey. But it would be fascinating to see more written about this in terms of it being a state of being, or who we ARE. And what does this mean? I better stop. I get so excited about thsi whole topic. I wish you well with these projects as they will be rewarding for you and us. :)

Robin, thanks for your comment. What you describe is a more advanced perspective about dreaming. Many people are at the stage where they do not yet recall their dreams on a regular basis. As you know from experience, to become more conscious permits a person to recognize his energy being when awake and also while asleep. This enables a person to be aware of moving between planes, encountering new sensations and interacting with beings that do not present in the physical. This level of dreaming will be in the book as well.

Liara, I'll await your book with baited breath! While I'm not quite to the stage Robin is, dreaming while "awake," my sleeping dreams ARE a whole other life, as she indicates. The conversations, the messages, guidance, instructions, even admonitions (yes!), the personalities I know and those I haven't recognized... It's all quite real. ...and very active. I can't remember a night in the last 10 years that I've slept all the way through, awakening---or being awakened---just so I am able to be awake enough to later remember critically important information to reflect upon during the day.

The symbolism took me a while to learn, and once I did---by reviewing my journals over and over and comparing them to my life situations at the time---well, that's when my life really opened up and my greatest growth began. Suddenly, I was "speaking the language." While I haven't actually seen anyone (other than "people" meant as representations of "real" people in daily life, including myself), I have been able to distinguish dialect and accents in the voices of those I've conversed with.

Because I consider my dreams to be the greatest tool I currently use to access all that wonderful guidance, I'm always excited to learn how to develop it more. Your own experience-based knowledge will be so helpful and so welcome. Thank you for your upcoming book!

Hi Julie, this dream ebook does focus on levels of dream insight and travel. It will soon be complete. My recently-released book, Self-Disclosure, also explores dreams in the sense of encouraging readers to learn to visualize and harness energy differently. It invites readers to raise awareness of thoughts and feelings in ways to strengthen insight and shift perception about where you are. More information is available on this webblog. Hi Liara. This book sounds like a juicy idea. Playing back dreams after waking (most of them anyway) is entertaining. I have close to 3 dream journals from my twenties. I don't dream as much as those days. I don't think dreams or dreaming have changed my life in anyway with the exception of keeping me curious about "the mystery."

Hello, Liara ...

This sounds like an awesome idea for an ebook. I would very much enjoy an exploration of dreams as indicators of past live relationships.

I can usually tell when meeting someone from a a past life ... there is a resonant "ping" that happens, and it's typically followed up by a dream or two or three. In some cases, those dreams are continuous, a chronicle of circumstances regarding me and that individual. The stronger the tie, the more insistent the dreams. I've experienced them on all aspects of the spectrum.

I would love to hear your take on this topic.

Great idea!

D~

Hi Liara,

This sounds like it will be an interesting book. Something I recently learned from a friend and have been practicing is changing your dreams upon awakening. I seem to have many dreams about what I believe is my ego. It's always a man with crystal blue piercing eyes. Usually he's trying to do something to me like have me fired from a job or push me down stairs, etc. After these dreams I've reimagined the situation and put a new "spin" on things. I usually feel better, like I have released something afterwords. It would be interesting to include something like this in your book.

Davina, during a dialogue I initiated with highschool class about dreaming, one student explained her dreams were 'nothing special' because she felt she was simply reliving her daytime experiences. Yet, as I invited her to share one such dream, she realized that certain details were not quite as she experienced them by day. For example,in her dream, her school janitor worked at the local carwash and details about her local mall were not exactly the same as reality. She realized that by shifting her awareness, she could choose to examine and explore meaning in her dreams, or not. Everybody has constant choices.

Donna, past life visions help facilitate more conscious awakening. This raises the issues of faith and trust. Each human being is working with whatever information they sense and accept. If you view physical existence as a kind of exercise in decluttering your own energy vibration, then you realize mind and soul are filters. At soul-level, fear and blockages do not exist. Physical, emotional and mental layers are full of imbalance, misperception and misundstanding. Dream recall helps disperse the fog. Past-life related dream samples are found in this ebook.

E.Michelle, what you describe is an example of how a dreamer can harness dream energy and rechannel it to problem-solve and empower the self on different levels of conscious awareness. At this stage, six kinds of lucid dreaming are explored in this ebook. The sort of dream you mention is included. Thanks for the input!
