Accept what you already know

Analysis of the week on dream submitted from by V.K. of Melbourne, Australia:

Dream: A series of three dreams is connected; In the first dream, my now deceased husband was in the driver’s seat of a car. I was in the backseat right behind the empty passenger seat. It seemed like the car lengthened. I felt as if I was drifting further and further away. In the second dream, I dreamed the warm body of my husband was holding onto me as I slept on my side. I awoke to discover my electric blanket had turned itself on during the night. In the third dream, I stood with my daughter at a crosswalk. The circulation light turned from red to green. We waited. My husband was to meet us. Yet, he never came.

Predominant Feelings: grief, distress, separation, disappointment, faith, comfort

Interpretation:

Consider feelings generated by your body: People in your dreams may represent different parts of yourself. Note their memorable traits and interactions with you. Do they mirror how you view yourself and treat yourself? In particular, identify why you may feel aloof, reassuring or "stand by your man." Physical distancing only seems to occur beyond your control. To allow yourself to feel restless or uneasy doesn’t really solve anything. Note how you “stretch” yourself. Perhaps you’re over-extending? To be the backseat is like putting yourself down and allowing others to take over areas of your life. Why ‘sit back’ and let this happen? Retrace events that may help to explain possible low self-esteem or low confidence. You may have reason to give up dependence on someone or some situation.  Choose to stop 'drifting.'

Consider the spiritual world: Remind yourself that no matter where your husband’s soul travels, you are connected wherever you are. No reason to worry.  As you move ahead in your life, you keep his hope and memory alive. All this relationship represents triggers nostalgia. Spirits have been known to visit this plane, convey messages, and make their presence known. Even if you’re unsure exactly what sensing his dream presence means, embrace a profound purpose behind it. Unforgettable impressions are meant to reassure you of something beyond what your subconscious mind suggests. The blanket symbol draws attention to positive feelings: warmth, love, security and also protection. It’s up to you to determine whether reconnecting with spirit offers clues to your future, reinforces what you already sense deep inside or, why deceased or spirit guides visit you.

In general, intersections are like crossroads. You need to make choices to progress. Light is shed on a once cloudy situation or problem. You have found the truth to a situation or an answer to your prayers. You may decide to alter your personality or end a certain life phase. Jog your memory about how you felt. To wait for someone who never came, might simply reinforce what you already know. Someone isn't coming back to where you are now.  Peace is born inside you. You may aim to distance yourself from a sense of loneliness. That is also created inside by choice.
