5 Tips for soulful living

When you live true to your soul, you feel peace, contentment, abundance and fulfillment.  You actually experience what the ego mind tells you to keep chasing.  You may be asking, how can I be happy now? Ponder and integrate these tips:

1) Meditate regularly. It is often assumed meditation is simply sitting in a lotus position in silence. In fact, one can meditate anywhere and many approaches to meditation exist. Everything is a divine creation because you are a divine creator.  Being consciously creative in the kitchen, garden, with paint, wood or other materials can also be a form of meditation when you lose all sense of time. Explore options.

2) Take up spiritual pracitce.  Disciplined spiritual practice enables you to strengthen and sharpen the body verhicle.   Yoga, Tai Chii, Chi Gong and other practices prepare the body for meditation so you hear your soul clearly.  This is about harmonising your physical and energy bodies,  gaining insight into emotions as they arise and mastering your mind. Spiritual practices also exist to balance each chakra

3)See Beyond "You". Divinely-inspired activities that reflect a soul calling  are not motivated by ego or self-interest.  The human vehicle you use simply divine light in action and can allow grace to work through it. Spiritual practices allow you to deepen discernment so you recognize what is soulful or  not.

4) Notice synchronicity. When you follow inution, you come to discover a trail of synchronicity to guide you to make more choices that feel right.  The logical mind does not understand, does its best to question, instil doubt,  talk you out of listening. If you cannot explain why, its likely divinely inspired.

5) Nurture the unexplainable.   A divine idea is formless, much like truth itself is formless. Every divine idea comes down through your heart and mind and takes specific form with perfect timing.  When you are ready, it begins to take more concrete shape within you through feeling alone.  As you nurture what you cannot explain, you are allowing it to grow and emerge into the world in its own unique way.

It all comes back to you

It all comes back to you: where, when and how you do what you do and whether or not you change something. You create your own time-line.  You are the creator, the process of creating and that which is created.  It is a lot to swallow.  That is, it is a lot to take responsibility for.  Yet, from the moment you do, the nature of the game of life changes.

In other words, at this point, life is no longer about seeking guidance to improve relationships, job situations, health or other apparent external conditions.  Life is about being aware of how clever you are to orchestrate diverse situations.  It is about recognizing the lessons you create to reach and wake yourself up to the truth. Being life-centered in the present moment transforms how you see yourself and the world. It changes you from a seeker into something else.  Explore it.

Be awake to what matters

At any moment, you can wake up.  Any situation can awaken you.  Existence is an exercise where you create ways to feel more alive.  Being awake is feeling into knowing what matters.  Sometimes small life changes enable you to feel more awake, more present.  Even splashing water on the face can help.  How much sleep do you need to be awake to what matters?

To be awake is to recognize it was a dream that created the sense of distance between who you are and what you think you want.  Dreaming is the distance.  For dreaming to feel real, sleeping is necessary.  From the moment you are awake sleep disappears along with the world of dreams and the impulse to dream.

Being awake is being here now and accepting what you already are.  Awakening cannot be made a goal. All goals are dreaming like all achievements and pursuits to them are dreaming. He who is asleep cannot dream his way to enlightenment.  Whatever you imagine is not the same as being what you are already.

It is assumed that a process exists for everything and so process is dreamed into being.  It is imagined you must follow a path to reach a destination, take training to become qualified with a certain skill, literally travel from place to place, when the starting point and destination are the same. That is, you convince yourself you are less than you are in order to think you must earn the reward of a desired experience.   Being awake to what matters is accepting everything is instantaneous.

Similarly, it is often assumed a person moves through dreaming and waking states to wakefulness and then to that which has no name.  Everything but the last state takes you away from yourself. In reality, you do not go anywhere but life and experience looks different in the imagination.  You think you must lose yourself to become whole, do something to merit entry into paradise.  When you truly lose the self, your false identity or sense of separation from who you are,  you cannot come back to it and for desire and ego cease to exist.

Get this: Paradise is here now.  Being awake to what matters is knowing no-thing you think exists.  Yet, the point of it all is enjoying every step of the imagined journey, appreciating every experience, and loving everything you encounter along the way back to where you never leave.  Love is the answer.  All of existence points toward it and is it.

Tap into the source of wisdom

Life is what you make of it or no-thing.  The dream you build for yourself begins and ends in the mind. The mind can be trained to choose consistently that which cannot be seen. This unseen is recognized as truth and experienced as the only real option.

What if you have a source you can consult to guide you that is always available and always right? Guess what? You do.

When you are in touch with your spiritual side, you are in touch with the source of infallible wisdom. This is the source of divine inspiration.  In this moment, it is the reliable source of a constant supply of answers that guide you to what is best for you and everyone else. It is that part of being that knows you are exactly where you are supposed to be, and can only ever be in the right place at the right time.

Ultimately, your experience matters, not what you do or where you go.  Everything is an opportunity to reveal the ego as it is so you can see through it.  Healing your own mind is recognizing there is nothing to fix.  This revelation also helps the collective mind. This is getting closer to the perfection you experience already right where you stand. To say you are satisfied implies something other than fulfillment exists. Only happiness, peace and wholeness do.  You embody them now. Accepting this is being happy wherever you are, taking joy in all that you do, and being in awe of yourself.

Pinpoint the hidden key

Every moment, you have your finger on the hidden key to your own transformation.  You can only ever reveal this to yourself.  Be aware of a feeling of avoidance. Recognize when you feel sensitive. Every feeling is a pointer, a guide to true nature.

As you cease to take things personally,  a new kind of seeing starts to emerge.  What you see is what you are.  Who or what is hiding?  Go deeper.  Discover who is here when your individualized personality and perceived issues are not.  When will what matters most to others matter the most to you?

Consider the possibility you do not experience different personalities, but different bodies in different lifetimes which experience the same universal lessons. You cannot escape looking deeply into yourself forever. Illusions are dissolving.  Celebrate the journey to love deeper than ever before.  Appreciate everyone you meet.  Each one is a version of you bringing you closer to the heart.  Every moment and breath is an expression of love.  Love yourself in response to all you feel.
