Love life

Watch what happens as you find a way to love or appreciate whatever is unfolding.  This is not the same thing as liking everything.  Its not allowing yourself to fear. It is about embracing everything.  Be open and receptive to all life brings you.  From the moment you love self unconditionally, you can love life, come what may.  As you truly love self, you truly love life. This means harbouring no fear, exerting no control and allowing the peace within to arise.  What a timeless gift this is.  Notice the sun shines equally on everyone without distinction.  Buddha calls this undifferentiated love.  Be at peace with love.  You have less arguments, you embrace life as it is. You are at peace with life.

Allow all feelings to dance

As a living being, you are rediscovering what is natural.  Part of your nature is to discover all emotions and allow them to flow.  It is fine to express how you feel in the moment.

Watch children in their candidness and spontaneity. They do not judge or second guess themselves. They are like a free flowing river unless someone reprimands them. If this happens, its like the river comes up against rocks or rapids.  Where do you buck the current?

Ponder how it serves you to dwell on anger, doubt, fear or other heavy energy. What happens as you allow discomfort to get implanted under your skin? Do you scratch the itch?

At some point, you are going to encounter people who disagree with you or, who are closed off to what you are experiencing. What you feel is alive and true for you even if it is not someone else's reality.  Be awareness. Surprise yourself. Peace is not something to be kept or forced. All emotions have peace inside them. You do not find peace.  It arises as you allow it to be here.

In essence, you are aware of space yet, space is not aware of 'you.'  What is real does not need saving or changing as the mind thinks it does.  Watch what happens as you allow all feelings to dance.  Each one is a teacher inviting you to see beyond external conditions to feel through the lens of soul. Through the divine eye, everything is appreciated as it is and for what it is.

Notice you share an experience differently with people.  You may think you express love differently to a friend, child, lover, parent and acquaintance, yet do you really? Only the mind is capable of judging and distinguishing different kinds of love. The heart simply loves.

Notice what is obvious

Notice what is obvious and "to whom".  Notice who is asking the question and who answers.

The ego mind has limited or selective awareness.  It sees the dream through conditioned filters.  It shifts attention between the past and future.  It judges and compares, sees body parts, people and conditions as separate, and even creates hierarchies of what is thought to be better or worse, more or less desirable.  This is the rebel, fault-finder and people-pleaser, always seeking to improve or find something out of reach or sight.  It attaches or clings and sees things as you are or through the lens of adopted thought, self-image and beliefs.

The omniscient observer sees all and judges nothing right in this very moment. It views through a lens of unconditional love and acceptance. It views everything as a mirror of pure peace, joy and love. In essence, it see things as they are, and feels everything points to this truth. It feels what is real and sees through what is unreal. It is the silent and ever-present guide home.  It knows clarity and enlightenment are never lost. It knows the essence of being cannot lose itself or be anything other than authentic. It is light, joy, freedom and all that direct experience reveals beyond words and associations. It only sees what it feels.

"We are not human beings having a spiritual experience, but spiritual beings having a human experience." -Pierre Tielhard de Chardin

The proof is in the pudding

You may hear the proof of the pudding is in the eating.  Yet, you only truly know the taste of anything as you put it on your own palatte.  Then, the body begins to recognize texture, sensations, and vibes on a deeper level. Each flavour is unique and bursting with a story.

In other words, to fully appreciate something, you have to experience it directly yourself.  You can assume you have the same taste preferences as someone else, but this is not the same as tickling your own tastebuds or savouring something again, as if for the first time.

Notice how opinions are created based on heresay.  Notice the actual reasons you agree or disagree with someone.  So long as ego drives you, it has something to prove, so you speak up. From the moment you experience peace and contentment, questions are answered as they arise.  Peace is felt by everyone in your presence.  There is no need to say anything.

On another level, to fully appreciate this moment, you are invited to stop comparing it with memories of other experiences.  You are invited to stop judging and assuming history has to repeat.  As every moment feels new and fresh, you are allowing life and energy to flow freely without doubt or fear.  This allows feelings of joy, peace and freedom to reveal themselves.  Paths you think you have trodden, places you think you have been, never feel the same again.

Rediscover what is natural

What matters does not come through your familiar senses and brain so much as through your skin, your emotions, your heart and your entire body.  Notice how closely you listen.

Recognize who you are and make peace where you are.  Notice your relaionship with others.  Appreciate the uniqueness of others as well as your own. Know everyone complimentary.  As you listen more closely to how you think and feel, make these discoveries:

1) Anytime you allow uplifting thoughts to fill you, nothing else remains

2) Anything you conceive is yours to be, do or have provided you are open to receive it

3) Any obstacle you can think of, already fades as you shift your attention

4) Anything you think about attempts to distract you from how you truly feel

5) Anytime you align with what feels like bliss, happiness, joy, love, confidence, appreciation, love, well-being, wellness, and abundance, you rediscover what is truly natural.  You allow yourself to be where you want to be rather than imagine what you have to do to get yourself here. As you get your head out of the clouds, and are picky about how you feel, this is the swiftest path to recognizing where you want to be and already are.

"The more things seem to change, the more they remain the same." -Steven L. Hairfied (An American Monk) The Twelve Sacred Principles of Karma
