Use your power to alter your life

What if someone brought your attention to the idea you only remember aspects of yourself that you consciously manifest? That is, you are selective.  You focus and limit the attention of your brain based on what you think you know. What if you miss the crux?

You might say, “Whoa there! Life isn’t really as I see it?” At the same time, somewhere, not so far away, in the back of your head, echoes a persistent, “Nope...”

The fact of the matter is, in all likelihood, you choose not to listen to this voice as much as you could.  Ego quashes it, to deny the truth, for reasons you don’t yet recognize.

Take your senses. From a young age, you train yourself to organize information based on what you’re taught is traditional sight, smell, taste, touch and hearing. You make comparisons. You’re taught certain experiences are ‘taken in’ and described using certain senses.  That approach supposedly makes your views more easily understood. Yet, you limit yourself based on conditioned beliefs about the right thing to do and when.

As your body cringes in apparent confusion,  you may ask yourself why you assume other ‘right’ or ‘useful’ ways don’t exist.  Do you take a trusted person's word for it? Why do you choose to give another human being's word or experience your trust?

What if future experiences need not be interpreted by your senses as you have done before? Your power lies in your current experience.  Beneath your reflex reactions, your being reacts to events in ways that break your normal patterns.  Are you ready to listen?

What if someone tells you that you can ingest information through different mechanisms? This means you can see aromas, hear colour, taste light, feel sound, even if these aren’t your current ways of perceiving.  You can even interpret time and events differently.  What if your current physical experience is merely a choice among possible realities?

Consider that whenever you detect obstacles, you have assumed you will have barriers in your path.  You have assumed something is missing you desire.  The result of which perception of yourself you create and which circumstances you choose combine to highlight your source of power.  You force your mind to view your life as sequential moments.  Action is thought in motion.  Use your power to alter your life experience now.

"Mind is consciousness which has put on limitations.  You are originally unlimited and perfect.  Later, you take on limitations and become the mind." - Ramana Maharshi

Break the parameters of normal perception

How often have you said, "I only believe what I see," and really meant it? What do you imagine it would feel like to free yourself from limiting thought patterns?  Are you ready to taste a deeper and more intricate reality?  Is your mind prepared for all the bright light  and vibrational stimulation?

The mind can detect thought patterns that escaped your conscious awareness before.   You can evolve to see energy as it flows in the universe, how balls of energy form transparent beings of light around you.  Energy fields frame these geometric forms.  Strings seem to link their halos to infinity. Do you see humans as they really are, beneath their skin?

Let's say you detect a break in the continuity of time.  Learn what it means to interrupt your perceived flow of continuity.  Allow yourself to clarify your intent during inner silence.  You will observe and absorb something specific that defies explanation in familiar terms.  Your inner awareness of everything guides what you're ready to see and when.

Unbeknownst to your conscious mind, each thought and action you undertake is preparing  you to embrace things your linear, rational mind tells you its not ready to grasp or accept.  What would it mean if you ceased being objective and subjective? Ease into spherical time.

Turn inward to open your heart

The soul is aware of but unaffected by what you eat and drink. The physical body requires nourishment Soul does not. What you ingest from the physical world reveals whether you are in touch with who you are or whether you are disconnected from well-being. Notice the significance of your behaviors.

To listen closely to the compassionate inner self, its necessary to recognize and rise above negative feelings. They are symptoms of your misunderstandings and unfounded beliefs, ironically created to sidetrack you from the dreams that drive your soul. Your mind concocts a vision based on its insecurity and invites you to focus on the past and future.  Balance is forever present.

When you experience anger, frustration, self-doubt or other negativity, its an opportunity to be aware of the power emotion can exert over you.  Choosing not to open yourself up to self-growth invites more intense suffering, and avoids accepting the truth of who you are.  Why might you hold yourself back?

1) False "I am unworthy" beliefs. This belief system arises when a person becomes convinced he or she is unloved or unlovable. If you don't believe you deserve love, or have never tasted love and appreciation, you may intuit rejection, assume things are wrong with you. One misunderstanding breeds another to hide resentment you need to work through in order to heal your soul and explore your true potential.

2) Dependence on external approval. If you are convinced you require external approval to accept who you are, then you buy into the illusion of inadequacy. For some reason, you hinder your ability to love and receive yourself unconditionally. Your ego distorts or rationalizes what you feel is missing, when nothing is. Ego directs your attention to incorrect reasons for feeling what you think isn't good enough. This false belief distracts how you feel alienated from your own illusions. Your perception perpetuates an artifical reality. You need to learn to let go.

3) Dominated by fears & phobias. Self-criticism may be your way of protecting your psyche.  You may justify not doing things you feel drawn to do because you're in conflict with yourself.  Recognize your fears prevent you from being fully engaged in life.  You can learn to perceive your current situation is an opportunity to heal old wounds.  Its time to discern the nature of these past wounds, explore reasons why you have them, and be willing to take steps to release yourself from their grasp.

Move beyond the Matrix

Some people sense success is basically learning to accept whatever ideas arise in the mind, while recognizing you are a silent observer of what transpires.  Yet, what if the prospect of bending a spoon with the mind is an invitation to step back and recognize that everything is possible with a light heart?

Recall the character Neo in the film The Matrix.  As he begins to let go of doubt, limited view of his physical senses, he deconstructs his memories, and accepts all is possible.  Like Neo, we each become the vibrational equivalent of what we ask for in our world.  Its common to discover we didn't really want what our minds project. Though not everyone chooses to move beyond the Matrix.

How is it a human being can evolve to observe and experience directly without getting influenced by emotion,  and the ego desire to judge?  You may sense heat, pressure, tension and other perceptions, aren't necessarily controlled by your body or mind.  How does that shake your world?  You begin to sense motivation is not required to accept where you are and what you can do.

People are conditioned to focus on steps they think are required to succeed. Yet, who asks you to perform the tasks? Why do anything?  What drives you?  If suffering, fear and desire don't capture your full attention, then you come to observe and master the mind. To stop running backward and forward allows you to savor this moment.

At a basic level, success is a kind of pure observation.  You needn't be directed or driven by thoughts.  You needn't grasp them intensely or shy away out of fear.  This mindfulness is not indifference. Yet, it means you move beyond ordinary attention.  You discover the nature and underlying motives of thoughts themselves. You unleash a child-like impulse to simply live and love for the joy of it.

Shatter the myths

How you perceive yourself highly influences your life choices and whether you have faith in dreams.  To what degree you recognize and value your skills and abilities helps you understand your behavior patterns.  Why do you disregard your potential? Why opt to ignore aspects of your personality?  This all influences whether you struggle with your sense of self-worth.  Ready to shatter your self-created myths?

Its quite common for people to nurture false assumptions about their identity. From a young age, we're all labelled by others.  The words we permit to affect us are often those we allow to sink deep into our subconscious.  If you were ever told you weren't capable, you may have grown to believe it.  You don't have to feel permanently inept or inferior.  Rethink reasons for your insecurity or shame. Consider these three tips:

1) IQ tests don't accurately measure intelligence.  How smart you are isn't for other people to tell you.  Its for you to prove to yourself.  This isn't something you can pin down with a number, an acronymn, or any other test result.  It arises through life experience and choices you make that shape your self-confidence.  Many people have been labelled as one type of person and gone on to prove they are a completely different sort.  You are really the best judge of your own character.

2) Historical & socio-cultural evaluations are misleading.  You may assume your sense of adequacy (or inadequacy) depends on qualities or skills deemed important by your community.  Not everyone works in a field that is socially-valued in mainstream culture.  The level of external approval doesn't have to influence your core self-acceptance.  Yet, lots of people wrongfully assume their earnings, gender, skin color, ethnicity, religion or other labels alone define self-worth. Identity simply is and begins within. As you permit, your emotional awareness grows with you.

3) Who you are is not reflected in the mind's self-image. The latest trends don't define who you are. Your mind tricks you into thinking it controls the parameters of your life. You intuitively sense untapped abilities before you gaze into a mirror or read current media. Nobody, not the media or the ego knows you as well as the heart. As you imagine your physical body, envision how it functions ideally, how you know it is evolving in quantum leaps. Notice what happens when your thoughts are no longer the point of reference for health and well-being, time and space. Who or what exists beyond the mind's limitations? Can this be perceived or described?
