5 Tips to reach deeper fulfillment

Perceived lack of fulfillment is one reason people take up new training, aspire for promotion, shift job or career or re-evaluate relationships. Restlessness triggers desire for change. Without realizing it, we create barriers to our own career progress.  As you muse over options, reflect on underlying reasons for your own choices.  Ponder these five tips to reach deeper fulfillment:

1) Shift your perspective

Rather than limit yourself to an area of job or career, shift to a wellness model.  Get in touch with what enables you to feel good about yourself. Career isn’t something to reflect on or change during crisis. Discover what career wellness is and make it your norm. You can avoid some crises, and definitely be better equipped to deal with any that occur.  All-the-while, what you gather experientially, and intellectually, none of this is you. The question of being peaceful, joyful or fulfilled only arises from ego. When you conduct your life by accident, or simply do what ego tells you, life is not fulfilling. As you live more consciously, you realize no accidents exist, only unconscious choices.  Functionning unconsciously is unfulfilling, no matter what you do. As you can get to know yourself, choose jobs or careers consciously, being in a heartfelt place happens.

2) Let go of self-centredness

When ecstatic, you do not wonder what your life purpose is or seek fulfillment.  All questions about that come from burdonsomeness, restlessness, discontent.  The height of human ego is to assume existence is human-centred, that God has some hidden purpose for you to fulfill. Rather than ask why misery? Shift to ask how to transcend your misery. The path to fulfillment is not what you think. You feel the way, notice synchronicities, trust intuition, make fears conscious and master them.

3) Be open to new ways of seeing

If something is not yet in your experience, you are forced to believe or disbelieve.  When someone chooses to believe or disbelieve outside of their experience, they have a positive or negative story to tell. Assumptions and stories do not bring fulfillment. Seeing directly does. Practical experience in all sorts of settings evokes fulfillment.  Allow yourself to step outside your comfort zone. Do what makes you feel alive.

4) Stop the self-torture

Happiness is neither easy nor difficult. You need not manage happiness. Simply learn to manage your faculties. Memory and imagination set you apart from other creatures.  You reflect on the past and project into the future. People seeking fulfillment suffer from effects of memory and imagination. Rather than seek happiness, or link it to another job or degree, notice how you are conducting your faulties. If you give your power away, somebody can cause you to get angry or unhappy.  How you think and feel are up to you.  Notice personality is not SELF. Personality is largely unconscious, a little bit conscious. Content of the mind is acquired. What is not acquired from outside is called SELF. Physical body and mind are software and hardware.  What is inside is undeniably here yet often overlooked. Concentrate here and watch what happens.

5) Focus on inner well-being

If you are truly interested in your life, pay closer attention to what goes on within you rather than what is happening outside. Right now, your physical and emotional needs are passing needs. It is not a question of what is inferior and superior, it is a matter of doing what feels right for you at a given moment.  This changes.  Focusing on inner well-being happens as you begin to understand what happens in the external world is a reflection of your inner world. What you want is what is happening within you already but you overlook it.  To focus on inner-well being, some striving is required. In body and content of mind, in personalities, in memories, we are different, yet the SELF, the essential me, everybody is the same. Realisation means something already here is recognized.  This is not an achievement or an accomplishment.  You do not make up or earn fulfillment. It is not something you feel based on what you do. Rather, it is core state of being like love and success that you fail to recognize and accept until ready. Only then do you feel truly fulfilled.

5 harsh truths that shift your focus

Humans are taught the world is full of harsh expectations. Many people will tell you that you can do better with your job or relationships, be different than you are, act differently than you do, live somewhere more appealing, be somehow more fulfilled. This is all based in how we are conditioned to appease others rather than tune in and live our true nature. Movies and books reinforce whatever we are ready to see.

Ponder these 5 truths that help you shift your focus. In doing so, you discover that it is by shifting your perception that you transform how you feel about whatever you see;

1. The world does not reflect neediness.

All you see is not telling you people are needy, even if your work currently depends on creating or satisfying perceived needs. All you register and attract reflects how needy you are conditioned to feel. A material world functions by teaching people they are less than perfect or less than whole. You only act to continually improve or change yourself, acquire products, services or experiences to change this, when you think something is wrong or missing inside. Although people benefit from mentors at various stages, the key is to gain confidence to be your own guide or guru and accept all you see reflects how harmonious or not you feel within yourself.

2. Nothing and nobody ever really rejects you.

Life you encounter is simply mirror reflecting you only accept or reject yourself.  This tends to be a shocker. Imagine you project your self worth into another character on a holodeck. This is precisely what you are doing, even if Star Trek is not your thing. How you respond to all you encounter reveals how you feel about yourself. Loving or seeing a message of love in everything means no more emotional buttons exist inside to be pressed. Everything invites you to love yourself more, to be more compassionate and forgiving.

3. You are more than your skills.

This is not what society has you believe. It has you adopt labels, identify with them so they drive you nutty. In fact, you are far more than your job, adopted labels and skills, more than anything you think, more than the body, mind and emotions. You are actually a soul taking a human form for many reasons that reveal themselves when you are ready.  It takes courage to recognize and review how you define yourself so you can expand into new experiences that are suited to who you are right now.

4. Language is the root of conflict.

Notice words have cultural associations that often nurture and magnify fear and insecurity. If you use ancient forms of communication based on harmonics, you are an exception to the rule and in contrast, know the feeling of unity and centering through symbolic language. For the vast majority however, language is taught and adopted to perpetuate separation and dissonance. Remind yourself that nobody intimidates or makes you believe anything without your consent. Raising awareness of the nature of language empowers you like nothing else. Tuning into the subtleties of sound, frequency and geometry changes the nature of the game (how consciously or unconsciously you play).

4. The universe does not respond to your wishes.

Humans are widely taught the law of attraction is about attracting the life we desire. Everything is indeed about vibration and what you vibrate comes to you. But wishing for anything emits the vibrational message to the universe that you do not have it. Lack invites lack. What is seldom mentioned is that every moment, a higher version of you is creating what enters your scope of awareness. You only ever give yourself what you feel you deserve. The feelings themselves are the magnet and consistency is everything.

5. The world never changes.

It is common to want to change personal conditions and the world, to make environments healthier, fellow creatures safer, and Earth more peaceful. In truth, you only ever expand or limit your perception of what is always here. In all liklihood, you do not see things as they are, you see things as a reflection of how you view yourself. Your mental filters determine how you register energy and how it flows though you. It is always possible to allow filters to dissolve, to retrain the mind, and be the changes you wish to see. Change only happens in your own mind. Whether you think you can or cannot, you vibrate to prove it.

Savour where you are

Notice it is always possible to appreciate something about where you are.  Its common to focus on the direction you are headed, on particlar goals, unfolding projects or aspirations, but its less common to see blessings here and now.  If something is out of balance, it is an opportunity ot bring it into balance again.  And yet, during that journey of returning to balance, is an invite to recognize joy can be felt all along the learning curve.  Be aware additonal ways of seeing each situation always exist.  You have the power to shift your perception and experience.

Embrace self-reliance

Notice the world around you is giving you signs that all you have come to rely on outside yourself is unreliable. Patterns in the weather, in economies, in geology, in human behaviour, no longer exist as you once thought. In fact, all you are taught to believe is systematically revealing its not what it seems.

How you delegate authority, how you earn and where you spend money, is changing based on changing values and priorities.  One perspective is that people are growing more conscious of how they give their power away and how this can be reclaimed.  A shift in awareness or consciousness is triggering other shifts.

Amidst all the curve balls that you do not control, you have the choice to love and accept all that is happening or to resist, disagree and be in conflict with it.  You have the choice to notice the sources of your food, the choice to be more self-sufficient and healthier.  You have the choice of where to live, how to live, and how to spend your time.  Recognize what you have done to this point matters less that what you do right now. Be willing to recognize what does not resonate or feel right.  Let go of attachments.  It is always possible to find the silver lining

5 Ways awareness is sharpening

At different life stages, its easy to notice changes in conditions, taste preferences, relationships, and inclinations of how and where to spend your time.  What may be less obvious is that it all comes down to slowly dissolving filters of the mind and simultaneous heightening of awareness through the lens of the heart. Recognize five ways your own awareness is sharpening:

1) Food awareness- you are increasingly aware of the nature of energy you ingest, digest and eliminate from food and drink.  You naturally make healthier choices, eating more fresh food and less processed. You may even develop allergies to eliminate certain foods from your diet or simply notice cravings for things like sugar, caffeine, wheat, dairy, subside with no withdrawl.

2) Sensory awareness- you increasingly recognize you obtain information through channels other than the familliar five senses.  That is, you no longer limit a sense of reality to the conditioned filters of your youth, but trust intuition, vibes and what cannot be explained more.

3) Boundary awareness- you increasingly feel connected to your environments and all that is apparently contained within them. In other words, a sense of separation, imaginary boundaries or Self (ego) is shrinking or dissolving. Compassion and kindness are growing stronger and shifting your focus to what is common and shared among all things.

4) Dream awareness- you increasingly see through layers of your own dreaming, the lessons you orchestrate and the teachings you choose to integrate from this life experience into wider consciousness. You see no true experiencer or experience exists except what you imagine.

5) Love awareness- you increasingly shift to knowing that love and acceptance are the key to everything.  That is, how deeply you feel unwavering peace determines the harmony you see everywhere.  The degree you love self is mirrored in how lovingly you view the external world.
