What flows naturally

Many perspectives invite attention and discernment. Validate the truth that is self-evident and that which everything points toward. Notice space that exists amidst what you are conditioned to perceive. Notice the gaps between your words and thoughts.  Be aware of what is left unsaid.

The mind voices its own ideas about what is natural. Consider the origin of thoughts and beliefs. The heart feels its way to what is natural. Notice its silent pointers.

That which is reveals itself as you let go of what prevents you from seeing with clarity. At that moment, questions and stories cease to exist.  Now is when revelations unfold. Be open to see.

"I am naturally taciturn, and became a silent and attentive listener."
-William Hamilton Maxwell

Notice what is self-evident

Notice what the mind says is real, important and worth your attention.  Mental thoughts focus your perception on external worlds, on a sense of a future state or circumstance to work toward.  Observe the range of emotions you feel and what they point toward.

Notice the essence of being is here in the stillness and awareness amidst all else.  What is self-evident in the mind distracts you from what is ever-present beyond it.  To quiet the mind reveals another kind of stepping stone. Intuition allows the unveiling of inner activities and that which has no name.  That which is validates itself in silence.

"No one remains quite what he was when he recognizes himself." -Thomas Mann

Follow the thread of love

Notice you always encounter apparent strangers and strike up conversations for reasons the heart knows even when the logical mind does not.  Intuition is always a silent guide. Notice how you think, feel or interact with others sets off a domino effect.

As you follow the thread of love, who is helping who? Do you invite a stranger into your life or does the person energetically beckon you? Notice what happens as you see everyone is interdependent, satisfying needs before they arise.  All needs are met in acceptance and mutual appreciation.  Any sense of difference or division falls away.

You might say memories, perception and emotions are teachers. They distract your attention away from the compassionate being that is forever present and aware. As attention shifts, home speaks for itself in silence. All is well and invites you to just be.

"There are threads that help you find your way back, and there are threads that intend to bring you back. Mind turns to pull, it's hard to pull away." -Jeanette Winterson

Live the answers

Questions arise inside.  Be patient with all that is uncertain.  Everything that arises in your scope is not real.  Ego is the idea that you are separate.  The moment you recognize your essence knows what you need and you surrender to it, you discover the essence of what it feels like to live the answers.  Essence is a peal of wisom.  Notice it is a boundless and measureless sea of tranquility nestled in the heart.

"The slightest self-concern will keep you from seeing the obvious." - Burt Harding

How purpose arises

Purpose arises as you open the heart.  Notice what unfolds as you connect with what you love and willingly share this by serving others.  What happens to that unending quest for purpose as you discover your deepest needs are not what you thought? How does it feel to know all conceivable needs are already met? What happens as you choose to have fun with whatever you do and also infuse joy into the lives of others?

It is all coming back to you how your gifts and aptitudes are pre-selected at soul level.  Being creative is one of the basic ways to revitalize the Spirit and awaken to what the soul always knows.  Purpose is not what you think.  It is not what mind invites you to believe. Purpose is what you are, every aspect of the journey, and even energy itself.

"The purpose of our lives is to be happy." -Dalai Lama
