Walk your own path
You are invited to walk your own path, to awaken and notice how you think and feel. Be aware nothing matters yet you are conditioned to give meaning to and judge everything. Thoughts are like stepping stones that focus attention through the limited lens of the mind. You can be conscious and decide which thoughts dominate your focus and your life experience. Feel what its like to be discerning. Notice the vibration of what feels right. Be present with love and reverence. Know all is well wherever you may travel.
"No one saves us but ourselves. No one can and no one may. We ourselves must walk the path. You cannot travel the path until you become the true path itself."
- Buddha
Its all right in front of you
To awaken is to live based on what is real. It is to know unconditonal love is forever present, even when the mind would like you to focus on other emotions. It is knowing that the sun and blue sky do not disappear whenever the clouds and rain arrive.
Notice what captures the focus of your attention and what you allow to shape your mood. Notice how you are conditioned to assume the sun is present during the daytime and moon and stars are present during the night. In truth, both are always present but your focus shifts as mind tells you what to see. This draws attention to selective awareness and what you block out. Notice you tune out and back in at will.
Consider the conditioned mind tells you to see what you think is. It distracts you from what exists beneath or beyond it in this present moment. Questions and answers, problems and solutions exist in the same way. Notice the mind urges you to focus on questions and problems when answers and solutions are there as well. Notice order is present in chaos. It all comes down to what you are choosing to truly see or overlook.
"The mind is like a butterfly that flits from one flower to the next. Seldom do we find ourselves nestled in the excuisite and eternal ocean of here and now. When you are, you can connect with your true self that is beyond the chattering of your mind."
- Denise Linn
Awaken to your game of life
If Krishna, Buddha, Jesus, Mohammed, Nanak and Zoroaster, and peers of their level, were seated around a table discussing consciousness, you might wonder what matters they would discuss or if everything would be telepathic. You might also wonder if they play a game of cards, which face images would the cards reveal? Would personality transcend? If all is revealed, then which faces remain?
Their followers formed religions which highlight difference, control and power struggles. You might evolve to feel such practices deviate from the original tenets that promote wisdom and humility. Such traits raise conscious awareness beyond superficial levels of dreams.
Its said spirituality is based on three common ideas agreed on by all sages:
1) A sense of a unifying, supreme, absolute Source
2) Humankind's mortal nature and unlimited energy as a radiation from the Source
3) The possibility of learning spiritual secrets by deconditioning and remembering what you forgot at birth.
Regardless of whether you consciously connect with some God from within or from outside the human spirit, your consciousness has the potential to expand alongside your evolutionary process. You may experience biological turning points or changes in psychic energy. You always have opportunities for different levels of awakening. What sorts of cards do you hold in your spiritual hand? Which ones will you lay down? Which cards, if any, reveal the true self and decode the ultimate dream?
