7 Steps to see the light

Many people self-question about the point of fundamental decisions.  They wonder whether they say or do 'the right thing.'  Second-guessing is a synonym for self-doubt. This does not necessarily mean you do not want to experience something, or does it? Part of you asks, what you are doing here how? The answer: you are ready to see the light.

1) Choose to examine your ambivalence. When part of you wants something and another part resists, the underlying reason is struggling to get your attention.

2) Explore your feelings about duty.  You are someone's beacon of inspiration and light or, feel a sense of commitment to something or someone for whom you provide light.

3) Contemplate the value of change.  Part of you that favors change may wish to avoid fuss, consequences, ripples in a calm sea. What if all this is helpful to more than just you?

4) Pray to the Source.  This could be the source of apparent troubles as well as the Source of all energy, salvation and love.  Divine connections alter forever the progression of existence.

5) Say something, anything.  Participating in dialogue, even with yourself, reminds you of being alive.  Everything is equally adequate and inadequate to explain the indescribable.

6) Be grateful for what defies explanation. To realize you are not meant to explain or understand everything, is a relief.  You teach yourself what to do and rediscover stillness.

7) Listen to the voice of compassion.  Part of you is forever calm, and gives you the only possible answer worth hearing.  This is the opposite end of the spectrum from the devaluation of self. Pure love fills you and answers the call.

8 Ways to reframe everything

It is said the Source of all energy has given everyone and everything the insight to live in harmony. Everyone has all they require, yet does not necessarily choose to recognize this.  Why do people selectively forget these core teachings? What steps are you taking to uncover them and transform?

1) Be willing to undo or change how you think and feel.

2) Know ways to perceive exist other than what you now use.

3) Retrieve original teachings imprinted in heart and soul.

4) Learn not to judge anrd everse spiritual deficiency.

5) Listen to intuition to tap into unseen worlds and energy.

6) Train the mind  to remove the meaning you give everything.

7) Apply all thoughts and feelings universally or dissolve them.

8) Read A Course in Miracles (ACIM).  See things as they are.

"Humans have the ability to shift perspective. We can experience the world through our senses. Or we can remove ourselves from our senses and experience the world even less directly. We can think about our life, rather than thinking in our life. We can think about what we think about our life, and we can think about what we think about that. We can shift perceptual positions many times over." - John Emerick

Release the guilt

Analysis of dream submitted by Anonymous in Canada.

Dream: I was in a second floor of dank prison with a soundproof door and walls. The window had bars to a colorless, dirt courtyard. A dark man in my room squeezed through the bars to escape into fresh air. I felt this person was guilty of a crime, but I resisted calling the guards playing poker next door. Part of me wanted him to escape. I sensed the guards would not hear me call. I got the attention of a hot, black prostitute wearing red in the yard. She got the attention of the guards next door. They came and set me free. I was puzzled.

Steps:  (1) Reflect on details highlighted by your senses
            (2) Identify what content stands out
            (3) Notice the landscape, color and associated feelings

Interpretation: You are smarter than you think. The mind can seem like a mental prison. The very nature of ego is to instill guilt. This is bestowed on you as a child., the idea you are separate, unique and different. Your suffering depends on judging. You come to feel guilty for inclinations toward love, sexuality or anything you want that is natural. You are taught certain thoughts or behaviours are unacceptable in the external world.  Your nurtured action is to instill guilt (fear of not being loved) in children and other people.

This dream echoes you punish the self unnecessarily. Regardless of what you may have done or considered, it calls for unconditional love.  In truth, there is no such thing as guilt.  You only experience guilt because you think you are separate from what you want.  The fear of not being loved is unfounded.  You are love incarnate in a body that forgets its own being.

Notice your dream captors are gambling. The mind is leveraging some kind of wager.  Who are you playing against? Consider perceived adversaries. You may fear imagined consequences. Ask yourself to reflect on your understanding of 'risk.' Are your worried about losing identity, tarnishing reputation, changing values, principles or beliefs? You have risen to new levels of self-knowledge but do not yet feel comfortable with what you sense about your core urges and unexpected creative or other freedom.

Colors evoke intense emotions and certain ones stand out. Trust your intution about your own associations with color. Black is often viewed as negative, evil or a reflection of depression. Your conscious self urges you to eliminate dark thoughts. Red can represent things like love and passion, sexuality and life force. Reflect on the themes of resistance and surrender, where and to whom? You are the judge and jury.

Welcome whomever comes

"Be grateful for whoever comes, because each guest has been sent as a guide from beyond" –Rumi

Khidr as the one who travels over land and sea, mountains and valleys searching and longing to meet the friends of God. Hakim at-Tirmidhi tells about Khidr a remarkable tale. Khidr knew from the beginning of time what would happen to these friends of God. He wished to see in his own life what would become of their works. Khidr received such a long life that he experienced all of it up to the Day of Resurrection.

Rumi has told the following tale: A certain shahna (a chief of police) was active as such in the days of Harun ar-Rashid. Khidr visited him every day. This shahna suddenly retired from his job. Khidr then stopped visiting him. The poor shahna started to worry as Khidr seemed to ignore him.

One night it was made clear to him his value was connected to his being active in his work. The next morning he went to the caliph and asked for his job back. Harun ar-Rashid asked him what had taken place and he explained it all. Khidr immediately thereafter again started to visit the reinstated shahna. People forget a person's 'presence' is not always visible.

The shahna then wanted to know of Khidr why he had stopped visiting him. Khidr then said: "The value of your position is that you sit in the Diwaan and protect the poor and the needy and free them from the claws of their oppressors. You should know that this is better than thousand Sufi retreats!"

Awaken from the dream of unreality

Regardless of your vantage point right now, certain aspects of your perspective are obscured. Human beings explore astral realms more consciously as they grow ready to realize everything is transparent. Spirit observes all. You recognize this as you are ready tobe accountable for your choices. How does one awaken more fully from the dream of unreality?

1) Revisit self-observation. Some people assume they already know the answers to all their personal issues. As you admit you do not consciously know all the answers, you can humbly surrender mind control. Recognize shifting and transforming consciousness relate to the nature of truth you can handle at this moment. You never experience anything you are not mindfully-prepared to accept.

2) Sense intentional co-creation. Every person is energy. Individual thoughts and feelings vibrate. Love creates good feelings. They resonate high frequency. Negative feelings resonate low frequency. Collective vibrations contribute to perceived states of Earth. To be conscious of your impact is to make choices that restore harmony and balance in everything.

3)See fear for what it is. Human beings fear idleness. They fear not doing. They are conditioned to do. They forget how to be. One is never certain of the nature of what is accomplished. Part of you still fears it is not what is expected, deserved or assumed. Serenity is rediscovered as you feel unafraid of where you are. Fear dissolves and you are present. Remind the self anything you struggle too much for makes it harder to detach from illusion. Fear not losing what does not exist.

4) Grasp disappointment helps you. To feel disheartened is impetus for change. The more discomfort you feel about your current mindset and conditions, the more energy you direct into appropriate tranformation. Waking up to your true self requires you abandon misunderstandings.

5) Do not permit secret joy in negativity. You encounter people who are impatient to share all their reasons for depression, anger and negative vibrations. Emotions such as jealousy and frustration generate energy that can be channelled in more constructive directions. If these emotions emerge in you, recognize you need not perpetuate them. Choose to reclaim your power. Shift focus to love.
