Take resposibility for self-healing

You may have heard repressed emotions often show themselves in the form of physical pain. If you're holding back from something you truly desire to do, and denying it or, if you keep feelings bottled up inside, the resulting discomfort can manifest as pain or illness. Why might this be? What can you do about it?

As you look inside, you gain insight into how pain can be a message about deeper life issues. Consider every cell, organ, every part of you, has a memory. Don't bother examining yourself under microscope. Your body and soul have insight into the truth of situations even if you refuse to accept or admit openly to things. Your conscious and unconscious minds may still disagree. You may ask how could this be possible?

Take when you literally experience a kink in your neck. This may actually be a silent reminder you believe some person in your life is being a pain and you're letting this get under your skin. It could also reflect your own attitude or stubborness that offer clues to root source of discomfort. But okay, where's proof? In your head, silly!

When you experience pain it doesn't mean this suffering is always yours. It may reveal how connected or "in-sync" you are to others. You may be a gifted sensitive or empath. You can learn to intuit what sensations mean and step back to understand. Tingles, even pins and needles, offer valuable sensory details. Recognizing and differentiating among sensations is how you communicate at the soul level.

As you learn to be truly honest and read yourself, you'll discern the cause of your own unease and begin to sense how you can relieve it. To be accountable for your feelings is a way you can take responsibility for healing from the inside-out.

Whale of a situation

Analysis of the week on dream submitted by L.M. of Nova Scotia, Canada:

Dream: I was swimming in an indoor pool with 2 friends having a great time but also feeling a little guilty. I felt I should be somewhere else, doing something else. Anyway, near the time the pool was to close, I was stung all over my legs by some huge jellyfish, which I had seen floating around. I recall getting out of the pool and looking down at my legs. They were covered in large purple and black burns that were bleeding. I went to the first aid station at the pool, but they said they were closed and couldn’t help. After all, it was after 5pm and I wasn’t their problem anymore. I knew I had to get the stings taken care of, but was unsure how. Then, I walked into an exclusive restaurant looking for a doctor I sensed I knew well. I don’t know if I found him. On my way out, I bump into 2 friends (possibly from the pool). They were arguing and sat in an outside lounge/bar. My presence broke the tension. The 3 of us watched 3 whales play in the ocean below. A Celine Dion Christmas song plays. It’s a friend’s favorite and fills in the background.

Predominant feelings: guilt, fear, self-doubt, detachment, alienation, inadequacy

Interpretation: Take a feeling inventory. Something is clearly irritating or “eating at you” in real life. You sense trouble is 'all over you.' What seems so slimy that it hurts? Remind yourself you aren’t a victim of the world you see. Release yourself from the people or circumstances that “sting.” Someone may be cheating you or taking advantage of you in other ways. Dive right into your deep pool of emotions.

Recognize your choices have consequences that extend beyond your ego and view of things. It can help to recall the phrase, ‘sink or swim.’ In life, this means you must act to learn lessons so as to save yourself unnecessary anguish. Consider also your hierarchy of thoughts. Why is playfulness beneath you? Are you preoccupied with a whale-sized project or a relationship that is getting away from you? You may intuit you have bitten off more than you can chew. It may be time to declare a different sort of independence. Forget about those "bloody" disappointments and move on.

Redefine your own limits and sense of desired freedom before you really get burned. Note jellyfish are like painful memories that float up to the surface of your own unconscious. You may hide hostility or discomfort about one of your relationships. Ask yourself which experiences draw attention to low self-esteem. You may wrongfully sense you're unable to assert yourself in a situation where you feel victimized. Reflect on significance of numbers: 2-tends to reflect duality and beckons you to choose. 3- implies promising new ventures on horizon; encourages you to sharpen intuition. 5-deals with travel, instability and unpredictability.

Expand your world beyond recognition

We all have a key guardian angel throughout our lives. This angel remains with us from birth. You may sense this angel's presence at a particular time or when you're in particular kinds of situations. You will sense this angel only when he or she chooses, not when you decide its time. Certain things aren't for you to decide.

In addition to this predominant or senior guide, other guides will enter your daytime life and night time dreams and then sort of suddenly, disappear. They may change as you learn, grow and your experience expands. You may sense their presence before you recognize your main angel guide.  When you sense a connection with your main guide, you'll realize that your life is going to change more than ever before.

This said, you may not be the kind of person who chooses to talk about angels or spirits much.  You may recall such characters in childhood storybooks. Yet, you may now consider them fantasy. You may have evolved to ignore them or disregard them as possibilities. Some people assume they will be criticized or laughed at for talking about such subjects later in adult life.

At the same time, you may be surprised to discover sensitive people who openly acknowledge their beliefs in what others claim not to see.  Depending on how you decide your life will evolve, you may expand your world beyond what you thought you knew, to where experiences are beyond recognition.  This is a choice.

Guardian angels stay with you forever and offer subtle nuances of changes evolving in your life. You have the choice to follow their clues.  You may initially think you have no idea what this will involve, but you may also grow to intuit you hold the key to your own transformation. The brick wall in front of you has become an open door.  Step though and learn new ways of sensing the world and yourself.

Indigo children & the future of humanity

Indigo children require lots of attention in our modern world. They tend to think holistically and intuitively, and are understood to process emotions differently than other types of people. The increasing diagnosis of ADD and ADHD in children may overlook the reality of a different kind of generation that has arrived for a purpose. Is this more to this than science fiction? Since new kinds of intelligence are emerging worldwide that defy normal explanation, and medical treatment isn't working, maybe its time to look further than just outside-the-box?

Wendy Chapman, a foremost expert in this field, has written The Complete Idiot's Guide to Indigo Children (Alpha Books, 2007). She explains this phenomena and how parents can recognize and encourage these kinds of "higher-level children."  The readership and orders for this book are growing steadily. Does this imply more people are opening their eyes to this idea?

Meg Blackburn Loosey, Ph.D. has written Children of Now (Career Press, 2007).  Her research reveals that a large number of babies come into the world bearing inherent gifts that are beyond strange to most people.  These youngsters discover they're telepathic, grasp subtle energ levels, and/or have amazing psychic abilities that society would describe as unbelievable.  Yet, are they really? With more research in this area being funded and released, are humans not more than curious?

P.M.H. Atwater, known for extensive research into Near Death Experience (NDE), has also written a book about Indigo children called Beyond the indigo children : the new children and the coming of the fifth world (Bear & Co., 2005).  This book refers to a prophecy: the fifth sun or fifth world of the Mayan calendar will supposedly move into ascension on December 21, 2012. Will this date open a "gateway" of planetary development that will open humanity to new ways of living and new worlds of opportunity? Ancient traditions have foretold the transformation and passage of our world with the aid of the wisdom of the indigo generation and others.

Doreen Virtue, Ph.D. has also written widely on indigo, crystal and rainbow children. She has written about The Care and Feeding of Indigo Children (Hay House, 2001) and other books.  Her work encourages human beings to open up and connect with angels, Higher Forces and sentient beings all around us meant to assist us to reframe our earthly perception.

Peggy Day brought us Edgar Cayce on the indigo children : understanding psychic children (A.R.E. Press, 2005). This work reveals how renowned dream analyst Edgar Cayce understood the shift in human awareness that was taking place.  Why is it taking us so long to recognize what Cayce predicted as inevitable? What would it take for you to perceive yourself, friends and strangers in a new, positive light? What if indigo difference wasn't illness or controversy, but hid an incredible gift?
