Why discern what's behind your thoughts and action?

As you focus inward, and become attuned to personal energy levels, you will be less likely pulled into control games.  How might you discern energy levels and be true to yourself?

When energy exchange is not consensual, when it is ego-based, the result is karma, or loss of energy to one side or another.  It pays to discern the meaning of how you behave.

In the Celestine Prophecy, James Redfield wrote on four energy tactics  used and combined by people to raise their energy; Poor Me, Intimidator, Aloof and Inquisitor. These personalities characterize different thinking and motives.  Do you intuit yourself?

Empathy and compassion are perceived as having intrinsic value.  Your view gains depth as you evolve to recognise many acts of compassion are actually self-serving. This means you may subconsciously undermine your own actions.  What are your real intentions?

To seek hidden motives behind the appearance of altrusim is meaningful because it helps deconstruct your secret power games.   To identify issues also uncovers gifts they offer.  You choose what's most useful and relevant and disregard the rest you don't need now.

It all leads back to the power chakra, located at the diaphram where your ribs meet.  This is where each of us senses boundaries and power struggles within ourselves. We ascend the chakras to transcend discomfort and false ego.  Yet, we re-connect with the body and choose to be guided by instincts, to learn to trace our misconceptions and grow.

Stop resisting why you're here

You were attracted into your life for many different reasons.  You experience your own reality.  Only you can discern what this means to you.  This isn't simply a question of believing what makes sense to you right  now.  Its also a matter of learning to rise above your own tendency to judge, doubt and resist ideas that challenge your perceptions.

Each thought, word and deed leaves a trace in your character.  You also have hidden interests, memories and feelings you may not readily explain or put into words.  You may even fear discussing subjects that surface or fascinate you for fear of seeming weird.  People enter your life to assist you as well as to learn themselves at their own pace.

People will always find arguments that support their fears, restrictions and limited views of reality.  You can follow their lead or, follow a path that enables you to be true to yourself.  Much has been forgotten yet, much can also be remembered and explored.  As you sense your perception is expanding, you will better cope with your own inner reality.

To stop resisting why you're alive is to be willing to explore parts of your deeper identity. You may be unsure how to approach what is on your mind.  Its a process of considering new dimensions, ideas and possibilities.  You have to find ways to untie the knot to your  satisfaction.  You can choose to relate to your life with open-mindedness or anxiety.

See where different kinds of reactions lead you.  You can leave things as they are or, search out other answers.  Imagine what awaits you beyond your current awareness...

Sense a domino effect from ordinary things

While reading Susan Murphy's book called "Upside Down Zen: A direct path to reality," I came to a section that made especially good sense to me.  As I choose to learn from various views of religion and spirituality, I highlight key points that enable me to grow.

Murphy interprets a section of The Tao Te Ching.  She reminds us how this work teaches the softest thing on Earth overcomes the hardest thing. This has implications for how we think about ourselves and the world.

What if you started to think that to truly begin to grasp mindfulness, you  need to be willing to place yourself in a situation where your heart would break? Some people believe you haven't really meditated until you have wept so deeply that you have washed away the unnecessary layers of foolishness and misconception.  Ever see a person cry for joy?

The domino effect is what happens when you begin to sense your world and your reactions to it differently.  You don't simply react mechanically as you used to do.  You begin to empathize with others, to share their feelings, and you are less desensitized.

The images you choose to watch and absorb are not just anything anymore.  You realize you control how you think and that external influences don't effect you as they did in the past. You may not know how you will change next, or what you will transcend, but you sense change can be refreshing and exhilarating.  And, you start to look forward to it.

Follow your intuition

When did you last listen to a little voice inside you?  You know, the one that urged you to make a particular choice? Are you more likely to  ignore your impulses and take steps to convince yourself to do something other than what you want?  Maybe you arrive at a turning point and are working out what your dreams are and how they evolve with you?

We all know the feeling of, 'should I or shouldn't I?'  We create situations so we learn to make decisions.  What feels right now may not feel the same way at another point later on.   That's okay.  What we decide now reflects how we view ourselves at this moment.

Do you consult people for advice and reassurance?  Do you trust your vibes? Do you question or doubt the direction that pulls or attracts you?  Some people seek other means of exploring their apparent hunches.  I know people who turn to tarot cards, pendulums, oracles and other tools as a way to seek spiritual guidance.  Some people believe connecting with Spirit is  like connecting with your Higher Self and sensing your intuition.

Remind yourself everything you do with intent will not always turn out as you assume.  Yet, heeding intuition always brings blessings in disguise.  As you choose to recognize something good in every situation, intuition helps you adapt to new conditions.

For example, I recently went o a local store to pick up an order and deliver it as part of service to a client.  I felt organized and efficient, well on my way.   Being a positive thinker, I felt in control of my task. Yet, not only was my order not ready, but a technician present said he would need another day to complete machine repairs.

Rather than get upset about what I couldn't control about service to my client, rather than run off in a frustrated and stressed state of mine looking for another way to get my order quickly from a different supplier, I briefly chatted with this technician about his work and mine.  My intuition told me to take a few minutes. During our chat,  I discovered his ex-wife works in an area that could benefit one of my businesses.   He made a simple comment in passing.  If I hadn't paid attention, I would've missed it.

The next day, when I phoned the shop, an employee told me the technician was still working. I expressed the desire to contact his ex-wife about work and said I would call again later .  When I did, he had already gone.   However, he left his contact details for me.  By choosing to listen to my gut, my life unfolded differently than expected. Although I didn't initially get my order on-time, I tapped into a lead on a new contractor and positive development to one of my businesses.  Pay attention and expect the best.

Realize you are your own teacher

Analysis of dream submitted by O.P. of Melbourne, Australia.

Dream- During a recent period of my life, I was worried about my young step-brother. I would regularly dream he was in danger.  I imagined he was about to be run over by a car and  I was the only one who could warn him. I felt I needed to rescue him because other people weren't paying attention.  I would awaken with a jolt as if I fell back into my body.

Predominant Emotions- distress,guilt/ shame, shock, and love.

Interpretation- Remind yourself that each person you encounter is like a glimpse of a fragmented part of yourself.  Something about your deepest desires could intimidate ego and its focus.  You may face a waking situation where you crave external approval and acceptance.  It rattles your fragile self-esteem and expectations.  Whenever ego rejects aspects of your true self, this is mirrored in people's reactions.  It makes sense to realize you have everything you need, including love.  You may have forgotten you are loved.

Prospective accidents signify pent-up guilt and fear of losing something pre-maturely. You seem to be sub-consciously punishing yourself over something that hasn't happened. Nothing is carved in stone. Reflect on your emotional state. You may harbour deep anxieties and fears about unrelated events and experiences. Are you "driving" yourself too hard? Do you sense reason to slow-down or change course before you hit disaster? It may startle you to realize you have power to re-orient your path, choices and reactions.

If you happen to feel threatened by someone close to you, then you create illusion of fear to distract you from truth. Desire for rescue is a message part of you has been neglected or ignored. It may be a hidden talent, repressed desire or, genuine feelings you have yet to acknowledge. It appears you seek to express this neglected side or shake some sense into yourself. You detect courage within reach and begin to raise conscious awareness.
