Follow your intuition

When did you last listen to a little voice inside you?  You know, the one that urged you to make a particular choice? Are you more likely to  ignore your impulses and take steps to convince yourself to do something other than what you want?  Maybe you arrive at a turning point and are working out what your dreams are and how they evolve with you?

We all know the feeling of, 'should I or shouldn't I?'  We create situations so we learn to make decisions.  What feels right now may not feel the same way at another point later on.   That's okay.  What we decide now reflects how we view ourselves at this moment.

Do you consult people for advice and reassurance?  Do you trust your vibes? Do you question or doubt the direction that pulls or attracts you?  Some people seek other means of exploring their apparent hunches.  I know people who turn to tarot cards, pendulums, oracles and other tools as a way to seek spiritual guidance.  Some people believe connecting with Spirit is  like connecting with your Higher Self and sensing your intuition.

Remind yourself everything you do with intent will not always turn out as you assume.  Yet, heeding intuition always brings blessings in disguise.  As you choose to recognize something good in every situation, intuition helps you adapt to new conditions.

For example, I recently went o a local store to pick up an order and deliver it as part of service to a client.  I felt organized and efficient, well on my way.   Being a positive thinker, I felt in control of my task. Yet, not only was my order not ready, but a technician present said he would need another day to complete machine repairs.

Rather than get upset about what I couldn't control about service to my client, rather than run off in a frustrated and stressed state of mine looking for another way to get my order quickly from a different supplier, I briefly chatted with this technician about his work and mine.  My intuition told me to take a few minutes. During our chat,  I discovered his ex-wife works in an area that could benefit one of my businesses.   He made a simple comment in passing.  If I hadn't paid attention, I would've missed it.

The next day, when I phoned the shop, an employee told me the technician was still working. I expressed the desire to contact his ex-wife about work and said I would call again later .  When I did, he had already gone.   However, he left his contact details for me.  By choosing to listen to my gut, my life unfolded differently than expected. Although I didn't initially get my order on-time, I tapped into a lead on a new contractor and positive development to one of my businesses.  Pay attention and expect the best.

It's amazing what we uncover if we are at peace with ourselves, and paying attention to what is going on and what is being spoken by others around us. By not getting upset about something that is not in your control, gave you the opportunity to intake what was going on around you - Anger blocks our ability to see clearly and we miss opportunities as a result of our anger.

Have an awesome day!

Being new to the blogging world, I almost swallowed a fly when I saw the amount of entries on your site. So before saying anything else, thank you for contributing so much of yourself into others!

On the note of intuition, I can't even begin to list the number of surprises that happen in my life, because of that "other" voice. I find that the more I pay attention to it, the more I become aware of it, even in stressful times.

Thanks for this reminder!

Bruno, I agree with you 150%. Very often, it is the human reflex to get frustrated with conditions beyond our apparent control. Yet, we forget that how we feel is always in our control. Our choice to savor something in every circumstance enables us to discern and experience meaningful things.

Each person can recall situations where choices exist about how to react. I recall when I had my passport and money stolen while visiting a foreign country. Rather than focus on disbelief and despair, I diverted my energy and attention to nurture faith in my resourcefulness and ability toe befriend local stangers. I chose to see this an an opportunity for a lesson in building trust rather than get suspicious of everyone.

Hello Liara,
I have learned many a hard lesson to stop and always listen to that "voice" no matter how illogical or simple the message may be. I also so believe that everything happens for a reason. Situations are set forth for us to learn.

My husand and I were delayed by two hours today. But.... in the end it all worked out for a very strange and simple reason.

At our local grocery store which is a small store, we have noticed that the bakery departments pastries has improved by leaps and bounds. My guess is that there was a new baker. For the past week or so everytime I went into commend them for a job well done I was unable to speak to anyone. Today, I finally was able to speak to the right person. She appeared apprehensive at first. I suppose from hearing complaints from customers. But when I went on to thank her and to tell her to give the new baker my regards and thank you's for a job well done, her face lit up. She was glowing with happiness. My husband said its likely she rarely recieves a compliment or kind word.
Today was her day to receive some light and kindness and the exchange of love between our souls was such a wonderful blessing. Though a simple incident to most, I found it to be a wonderful day of coincidences and meant-to-be's. I am glad I followed the flow of life today with all it's twists and delays because the end result was worth it all. :o)

Harmony, writing teaches me many things about this world and other worlds. I sense it makes sense to share this. Getting in touch with the inner self is a journey I encourage. You do what you need to to get there your way. This process will strengthen you.

It can seem stressful to remain controlled by fear. Its incredibly life-transforming to move beyond that. To discern happiness is to naturally reassure and encourage others.

Liara,
Intuition is my first language. Without it, I would be mute.

Titania, your recent experience with the baker reminds us that choosing to be more aware of our surroundings enables us to notice positive things as well as positively effect other people. Anyone can slow down and learn to "smell the roses." People underestimate that such gestures enable us to transform the world and ourselves one step-at-a-time.

Alexys, its very meaningful to get back to basics. Learning some languges begins in school. However, linguistic rules we are taught may stifle divinely-inspired ideas. It is enlightening to become more conscously-aware of the inner knowledge we already have.
