Why discern what's behind your thoughts and action?

As you focus inward, and become attuned to personal energy levels, you will be less likely pulled into control games.  How might you discern energy levels and be true to yourself?

When energy exchange is not consensual, when it is ego-based, the result is karma, or loss of energy to one side or another.  It pays to discern the meaning of how you behave.

In the Celestine Prophecy, James Redfield wrote on four energy tactics  used and combined by people to raise their energy; Poor Me, Intimidator, Aloof and Inquisitor. These personalities characterize different thinking and motives.  Do you intuit yourself?

Empathy and compassion are perceived as having intrinsic value.  Your view gains depth as you evolve to recognise many acts of compassion are actually self-serving. This means you may subconsciously undermine your own actions.  What are your real intentions?

To seek hidden motives behind the appearance of altrusim is meaningful because it helps deconstruct your secret power games.   To identify issues also uncovers gifts they offer.  You choose what's most useful and relevant and disregard the rest you don't need now.

It all leads back to the power chakra, located at the diaphram where your ribs meet.  This is where each of us senses boundaries and power struggles within ourselves. We ascend the chakras to transcend discomfort and false ego.  Yet, we re-connect with the body and choose to be guided by instincts, to learn to trace our misconceptions and grow.

Interesting post and I sure do remember those reflections in the Celestine Prophecies. I am curious though, about how much time or energy we should spend on questioning our motives. It is healthy, it needed, but it can in itself become a trick of the ego to keep the mind rolling over the same stories. Open to other thoughts....
Thanks for your stimulating posts.

Harmony, I agree with you that there is such a thing as "whinking too much" or over-analyzing. It may take trial and error to find a kind of 'middle ground.' Not reflecting at all wouldn't enable a person to raise self-awareness.
