Realize you are your own teacher

Analysis of dream submitted by O.P. of Melbourne, Australia.

Dream- During a recent period of my life, I was worried about my young step-brother. I would regularly dream he was in danger.  I imagined he was about to be run over by a car and  I was the only one who could warn him. I felt I needed to rescue him because other people weren't paying attention.  I would awaken with a jolt as if I fell back into my body.

Predominant Emotions- distress,guilt/ shame, shock, and love.

Interpretation- Remind yourself that each person you encounter is like a glimpse of a fragmented part of yourself.  Something about your deepest desires could intimidate ego and its focus.  You may face a waking situation where you crave external approval and acceptance.  It rattles your fragile self-esteem and expectations.  Whenever ego rejects aspects of your true self, this is mirrored in people's reactions.  It makes sense to realize you have everything you need, including love.  You may have forgotten you are loved.

Prospective accidents signify pent-up guilt and fear of losing something pre-maturely. You seem to be sub-consciously punishing yourself over something that hasn't happened. Nothing is carved in stone. Reflect on your emotional state. You may harbour deep anxieties and fears about unrelated events and experiences. Are you "driving" yourself too hard? Do you sense reason to slow-down or change course before you hit disaster? It may startle you to realize you have power to re-orient your path, choices and reactions.

If you happen to feel threatened by someone close to you, then you create illusion of fear to distract you from truth. Desire for rescue is a message part of you has been neglected or ignored. It may be a hidden talent, repressed desire or, genuine feelings you have yet to acknowledge. It appears you seek to express this neglected side or shake some sense into yourself. You detect courage within reach and begin to raise conscious awareness.

Thomas Yellowtail Crow & 3 tips to expand your experience

To know something, you must merge with it. You don't simply know a flower if you smell it. You only ever really know another thing if you visualize yourself as being that thing. Close your eyes. Experience its soul. The Elders believe two worlds exist; the Seen and Unseen.

To experience the Seen World, all you need to do is notice or pick the flower and smell it. To experience the Unseen, you must grasp principles, laws and values. Regardless what the mind or limited physical senses suggest, you must be disciplined to transcend them.

If someone wrongs you, the right thing to do is pray for that person to know peace, love and joy. To expand yourself is to choose not to retaliate.  Imagine yourself in the position of the other person.  Treat him/her as you would desire to be treated.  This will encourage healing inside you, dissolve your negative feelings and heal another person.

The key to life and learning is to discern and act to satisfy what is missing. Each person you perceive is a mirror of some aspect of your soul. The solution to any situation is always to show compassion, love, understanding, patience, faith and tolerance.

Seth & 3 ways to lift the wool from over your eyes

Seth was the trance personality of Jane Roberts.  Together, they wrote many books. This classic source material reveals what is happening inside yourself.  Seth teaches we can discern that apparent physical facts stem from a deeper realm of creativity.

Spiritual awakenings, whether silent and subtle or dramatic and noticable, are deeply personal.  Seth explains that while awake and asleep, we are each expeiencing a spiritual transformation, even if we are unaware.  Each phase is unique and life-changing.

1) Humans create their personal reality through conscious beliefs.  You are not as familiar with your thoughts as you think.  What appears to exist physically exists first in thought and feeling.  If you encounter obstacles, then its up to you to discover reasons behind them.  Simply take steps to explore the unlimited inner dimensions of the mind.

2) Humans are not at the mercy of their subconscious.    If you don't appreciate your experience, then change the nature of your conscious thoughts and expectations.  Only when you refuse to take responsibility do you feel at the mercy of events. If you sense having control, this couldn't be further from the truth.  You persevere in your present course for reasons that used to make sense. Your job is to reframe present significance.

3) Humans are not forced to think in any particular way You are what you think about.  You have the will and inclination to move beyond the apparent barriers of your created experience.  Atoms, cells and every other part of you is aware.  All deep aspirations and unconscious motives surface for evaluation and judgment of the conscious mind.  You must find ways of adapting to your conditions.

Shirley MacLaine & 5 thoughts to rediscover yourself

Shirley MacLaine's books and life story chronicle her sense of a spiritual odyssey.  She believes we are each in search of parts of ourselves, the chapters of life we might have lived, and have yet to live.  Her journey led her to ask how the parts all fit together.

Her writing describes how she travelled further than she had ever expected to go, into herself, into worlds of psychic phenomena, and to places where genuine immortality of the soul became more real to her.   She encourages us to explore our views of the supposedly known and unknown.  In her mind, deciphering your dreams happens as you;

1) Accept gifts with gratitude and humility.  Every person, situation and experience is a teacher, not simply an opportunity to learn, but to learn to think differently than before.  Selective perception, at any age, will make you wiser and expand your senses.

2) Recognize that life, lives and reality are what what you choose.  You have arrived to where you're ready to re-evaluate what life is all about.  Everything you know about reality begins and ends with experience.  What are you waiting for?

3) Do what it takes to strengthen your sense of purpose.  Listen to your innate compass.  Why don't you take the time to look deeper?  It takes time to get-in-touch with yourself, to discover power in faith, determination, patience and love.  You'll get there.

4) Sense duality everywhere.  You understand something without perhaps knowing exactly what you understand.  You may sense a struggle underneath examples of happiness you know.  Both sides are lead to balance.  Discover new dimensions to life beneath denial and deceit.  What is going on you hadn't noticed?

5) Reach deeper inside yourself.  Keep an open mind.  Realize time, space and other self-imposed beliefs are limitations that veil your awareness.  Its not a question of whether immortality  and dreams are true, it becomes a question of how they work.  We each find our way.  What do you need to complete your life?

Realign your senses and transform your reality

Every moment, you engage your senses.  They work together to create the world you perceive.  You may assume things are in perfect alignment.  After all, your world likely doesn't seem upside down or topsy-turvey.  Colors and images make sense . What you may not realize is true seeing isn't done with the eyes.  So, do you wonder how its done?

Let's say you take the stance your perception represents the selective alignment of energy of familiar, everyday things.  Well, then you also recognize you are missing what is "out of the ordinary" or "extraordinary."  What you don't see, you may simply not be ready to see.  When was the last time you disregarded the perspective of your eyes?

Consider as you dream while asleep, your eyes are closed (that is, unless you are a fish). Yet, you perceive.  You visualize and somehow absorb the essence of your surroundings.  How would you explain your means of raising awareness? What if new alignment is taking place? Is this not an example of seeing through what you would assume are limitations?

As you choose to believe that reality may be something other than what you think you know, you are preparing to realign you senses.  What you get out of this process is up to you.  Are you beginning to realize what is really going on inside and outside you?  Its never too late to open your mind.  Learning to rechannel energy is the tip of the iceberg.
