Yes, every time we blame we not only dissapate our power, but we miss life-giving opportunities to grow, to become more alive and more aware. It is exceedingly thrilling to take full responsibility for our existence. The world is and will always be, so how are we going to choose to respond to it? Our greatest growth is usually in the things that upset us the most. In fact, I call them "portals" because (made use of) they can literally lead us into other worlds and dimensions. Our lives can be unimaginably transformed beyond our wildest dreams. Life is perfect. We need only algin ourselves with that perfection.
We can easily be so free -- the kind of free that makes us want to hug every tree and kiss every leaf as we skip merrily down the springtime path of this gorgeous life we've been given.

In some way, I can relate to everything listed here. I'm grateful for you and Katie for bringing me the opportunity to get back in the light when I fall into the dark.
All these stories teach that no matter what the content, it is we who have to take responsibility for our own healing, it is how we respond to the narrative.
Thanks for the info, I am looking forward to the book.
