5 Reasons to diffuse anger

You are not forced to believe in reality. Still, reality exists whether or not you believe. Similarly, to become aware of certain feelings like anger, is to permit the feelings to be in your mind at least part of the time. To acknowledge negativity can be a step toward diffusing it and letting go so it ceases to obscure your vision. Consider five reasons to diffuse anger;

1) Energy is available elsewhere. Some people will work themselves up, get the adrenalin and heart rate pumping and sense the intensity of anger gives them renewed energy. The thing is, a person has access to unlimited energy in a peaceful state. Yet, this is poorly understood and rarely mastered.

2) Uncontrolled anger distracts. Each experience is a test that encourages you to get to the crux of a matter. To allow self to dwell on negative energy moves the focus of your energy away from love, learning and problem-solving. Quick venting is a kind of avoidance strategy and emotional control.

3) It limits sensory perception. Every moment, you feel a range of vibrations. How aware and alert you are determines what you feel or not. Negative energy is dense and  heavy.  This 'dead weight' ironically obscures your ability to explore realms beyond the physical.  You block detection of spirit.

4) It blinds you from truth. If you believe you exist to learn lessons and move beyond your current mental state, then lingering anger blinds you from the truth you seek within yourself. It is buried beneath unnecessary conditioning and veils of emotion. As you sift through, you reconnect to  a core.

5)  Alternatives exist. Letting off steam can be done in ways that do not threaten one's health and well-being.  Exploring reasons behind anger deflates its impact and helps eliminate the desire to create it.  To discern and rechannel energy empowers you to make a positive difference in lives you touch

Liara, my problem is that when I am angry, all the training to diffuse etc, just disappears and I let energy fly!

Very good thoughts on anger. The biggest one that I resonate with is that anger blinds. We cannot see straight when anger and we are not in a mode of receivership.

BTW - for the last few comments that I have left I am unable to leave my URL, I get a msg stating my URL is invalid.

Mark, I will look into the technical glitch and ask administrator to add your URL to yoru recent comments.

Anger can be a big distraction. Intense energy is something every human being can learn to harness and channel in more meaningful ways. The key is raising awareness about what you are thinking and doing. This conscious knowledge equips one for positive change.

rummuser, regardless of one's current level of mental discipline and conscious awareness, advances can be made. Everything is a choice. One is ever-evolving off the inner radar scren. A being can shift awareness to act more consciously. Tapping into inner knowing and applying it consistently takes practice. You access your own secrets.

I agree with everything you said. Anger can be also looked at as a pressure release valve. The energy within becomes so intense that it has to be released, and if it doesn't, it could cause illness and disease. However, once released, the same issue may come around again, and the pressure will build up again and will have to be released all over again. So it is important at the time of initial release to label and to express one's feelings and to forgive them, your self, and the people or the other energies involved, so that the issue will be transcended fully.

Natural Moments, as you say, releasing a pressure valve does not necessarily mean you understand the origin of the intense energy or the hidden reaons for its build-up. Love and forgiveness heal all wounds. The infinite extent available to apply love has power to shift more than superficial awareness. Shape-shifting is one option nurtured. The degree of emotional intelligence can empower one to explore certain dimensions. Possibilities multiply exponentially. You fragment what you prioritize.

When you say "explore different dimensions", does one actually phase into another seperate dimension with noticeable physical effects, or is it a seamless shift where the question, intention desired, or wish creates another fork in the road allowing one to explore another avenue of possibility. Are the fragmentations infinite? Is this an aspect of a being lost in knowledge? If so, is it important to converge all realities into one moment, or is it even possible since the choices throughout time will have created extremely varied outcomes in history.

Or does one simply bilocate to other dimensions to experience new vantage points and opportunities for growth?

Natural Moments, not all dimensions are physical. Not all sensations are described by words. Levels of awareness determine what your register internally. You may choose to explore Zen koans as part of self-inquiry. Some may be found under the value tales section of this blog as well as other sites. The following is also another suggestion:

In my mind I can see that each frequency of vibration can be labeled as a dimension. I see human beings living together in a particular dimension or frequency of existance, but each individual is a subset or sub frequency of the human frequency of expression. Therefore, each individual lives in a seperate dimension, living and seeing different things than everyone else does. And if we shift our focal point, whether internal or external, we phase ourselves into a new dimension of being and seeing.
