8 Ways to prepare to explore your Akashic Record

Many people become curious about the Akashic Record, that Book of Life which contains secrets about your soul-level existence. If you had deeper insight into yourself, what would you do with it? How would this affect your perception of past, present and future?

A shamanic journey with a knowledgable guide empowers you to learn and heal what you do not readily see.  Awareness grows as your mind opens to conceive and accept new possibilities.  To be reading this is a way to recognize your curiosity. If you have already accessed your Akashic Record, you will be able to take these steps to new levels;

1) Read about Akasha and decide whether to go further. Whenever a topic sparks your interest, do some research. You will know if your motivation wanes or grows.

2) Raise awareness of your feelings about other people. Your interactions with others offer insight into yourself. Your reactions mirror how you feel about parts of yourself you accept or reject. Learning to step back from how you feel is illuminating.

3) Choose to become more attentive to your night dreams.The mind explores consciousness every moment. During night dreams, human brains freely explore thoughts and feelings in ways that transcend conscious limitations conditioned to obscure truth.

4) Notice repeating patterns and lessons in your life.  Every person you meet, every choice you make, is the result of your previous thoughts and behaviour.  You may call this karma.  You may view this in terms of energy vibrations and universal laws of polarity, cause and effect and also attraction. To recognize this prepares you for the next step.

5) Practice meditation techniques.  Eastern philosophies offer many choices.  Listen to CDs.  Watch DVDs.  Do it on your own, join a regular group or take some courses.

6) Learn to visualise and observe your thoughts.  This is an example of detachment.  It is a process of discerning how the mind tunes in and out of a situation.  This is teaching you how you respond.  "The what" always comes before you truly grasp "the how."

7) Isolate patterns that no longer serve you.  Different kinds of energy imprints evoke feelings inside you that prompt you to take different kinds of action. As your awareness shifts, you will sense differently and listen to signals you did not notice before.

8) Explore yoga and lucid dreaming.  Physical and mental exercises get you in shape. As you determine you wish to be the best you can be, then you may realize changes in your thoughts and behaviour would be desirable.  This prepares you to regain control over who you are. As you ready to recall certain things you have always known, certain action will make the revelations less of a shock to your system. It is all for your own good.

3 Ways to benefit from the vortex effect

As human beings learn healing benefits can be gained from raising their energy vibration, they begin to ask about concentrations of energy that could facilitate this.  You may ask whether an outdoor experience can trigger genuine physical sensations of energy.

If you concur with diverse scientists and individuals who believe the Earth is alive, then you may also evolve to view your surroundings as a living organism. A vortex is a place in nature where the Earth is exceptionally alive and healthy. This helps you grasp why just being in Nature, engaging in meditation or other activities outdoors, has healing effects.

Certain physical locations on Earth have been identified where the planet is healthier. People who visit them with deliberate intention and a level of conscious awareness attune differently to their health and well-being. People who focus on connecting with energy also find their emotions flow more freely and their ability to expand senses is amplified.

Of course, people feel different in places they visit. People themselves are different. They experience personal levels of awareness.  They spend different periods of time in places with different intentions, ideas. You define your health and well-being where you are.

Life experience teaches you that not everyone chooses to attune to their emotions, to develop their intuition and imagination. You create your reference. Those individuals drawn to metaphysical perspectives decide to explore energy in a deeper way.  They learn power places can be life-transforming.  You find what you are ready to experience

Even if you do not have the will, inclination or ability to travel in the physical world, you can learn about these energy places in other ways. I have been fortunate to visit many.  Wherever I am, I remain open to learning differently.  Regardless of where you are or where you have been, you can choose to benefit from the votex effect in these 3 ways;

1) Respect yourself. This means approaching each situation with open-mindedness and a willingness to trust yourself.

2) De-condition your mind. Human beings are taught to believe what they imagine is not true. Teach yourself to stop assuming what you imagine cannot be real.

3) Allow yourself to feel. To experience a heightened sense of emotion, a tingle in your hands or, other, new physical sensations is open to you wherever you are.

Kahlil Gibran & 5 tips to learn mysteries of your spirit

Kahlil Gibran saw himself as a simple poet.  He became internationally known in part through writing his book, The Prophet.  His timeless insights encourage each human being to learn the mysteries of spirit.  As you evolve away from misery, blindness and ignorance, you begin to transcend your mental prisons.  This is a meaningful process.

Throughout his prolific tales, Gibran gently offers scenarios to help people to become more aware of what they do.  He reveals injustice toward to poor and weak.  He portrays the timeless beauty and magic of nature, and how quick humans overlook and destroy it. He also speaks of emotions and how tuning in or out is the key to awakening the soul.

I am gradually learning that wisdom is not revealed in what people say so much as through their actions.  If you are open-minded and ready to expand, you are preparing to explore your own sense of mysteries.  These are 5 tips I have gained from Kahlil Gibran's writings;

1) Learn to hear your thoughts, see sound, touch flavor and taste what you used to see.

2) Accept your dreams are never implausible.

3) Rediscover the value of your soul in self-worth and honor.

4) Experience solitude as a means to detach from things that do not serve you.

5) Believe knowledge does not bring sorrow but rather, dissolves impulses to judge.

Anne Morrow Lindbergh & 4 tips to value your gifts

Anne Morrow Lindbergh realizes many people are searching for new patterns and ways of living.  She has been known to think with a pencil in her hand.  As a pilot, she was inspired by the timeless sky.  Many people came to know her because she accompanied her husband on North Atlantic survey flights to launch the first transatlantic airlines.

As she moved away from the contemplative corner she once believed was her own, she grew to believe her point of view was not unique.  She encourages each person to learn more about inner gifts from the sea.  She became intimately acquainted with water from above before touching it and living beside it much of her life.  She felt it enriched her.

1) As the illusion of frailty falls away, you rediscover truth.

2) To dig for treasure shows not only imptience and greed, but lack of faith.

3) The sea teaches the art of shedding; how little one can get along with, not how much.

4) The outside offers clues, but does not begin to divulge what lies beneath the surface.

Ram Dass & 5 ideas to access your authentic self

Ram Dass is the co-founder and advisory board member of the Seva Foundation ("seva" means spiritual service in Sanskrit). This entity supports international service programs.

His writing is perhaps best known for the book, Be Here Now. More than forty years since its first publication, it still stands as a highly-accessible Western view of Eastern philosophy. It encourages humans to evolve attune to infinite joyin the present moment. In the self-development genre, this book remains a key reference forspiritual seekers.

Ram Dasshas long been fascinated with the soul journey. Even since his near-fatal stroke back in 1997, the after-effects have not prevented him from continuing to explore consciousness. Although paralyzed and suffering from expressive aphasia (limiting his ability to speak), he continues his healing path and also inspires people withhis writing.

Among Ram Dass' essays, he effectively shares his personal experience of rediscovering God and soul. Each individual is evolving to reconnect with true nature. Its a very subjective thing. Consider these five ideas to reach deeper into your authentic self;

1) Realize your soul history and core identity have no start and no end.

2)Accept awareness defies words; you are everything/ nothing, nowhere/ everywhere.

3) Explore your notions of separation, alienation, detachment in relation to suffering.

4) Overcome the mind's conditioned mindsets and attachment sin the physical world.

5) Reclaim your universal connection to undifferentiated awareness.
