Where is the good in it?

Wherever you are, whatever you do, something good escapes you.  That's right! You are in the process of raising awareness about hidden benefits of where you are, how you think and feel.  Even criticism offers reason to feel good, if you choose to grow.

In all likelihood, you only gradually allow yourself to realize this because you know you will appreciate it more.  It is as if you value the suspense, the build up of positive energy.  When will you unleash that? You will do so at the moment that makes the most sense, when you have learned more patience.  The good is the lessons you learn by choice.

Rest assured, good is a feeling evoked in you every moment.  Goodness is the unwavering love within.  It surrounds you as light energy.  Goodness is what you feel when you remind people of their own kind-hearted soul, even when they forget they have one.  It is invisible gratitude, an intangible thanks for doing more than words can say.

You have the power to draw goodness out of yourself and others.  You may encourage yourself and help others see love where they missed it before.  The good in that is immeasurable, priceless and bursting with intrinsic value that defies words.

Choose your battles wisely

Throughtout your life, you encounter obstacles and perceive battles.  You will meet people who disagree with you, who express themselves as if to taunt you or challenge your principles, values and inner peace.  You may ask, "what is it with that person?" Yet, they continue efforts to discourage or bring you down.  They have an axe to grind.

Your reflex may be defensive.  You may act to prove you're right and they're wrong.  You may have had it 'up to here' with their attitude, jealousy or anger.  Yet, how often do you decide conflicts are not worth the energy? When do you nod and smile, send sincere love and forgiveness or, deliberately turn away? Choose your battles carefully.

One perspective of the honourable thing to do would be to turn your back on provocateurs, to walk away or, to ignore them.  Choosing not to be disturbed by criticism, scepticism and misunderstanding, is a way to raise your energy vibration.

When people approach you and seek to pick fights, you have options.  You can baffle them by choosing to agree with them.  You can behave in ways that do not permit them to disturb your peace of mind.  As you do, they cannot drain your energy.  In fact, they go away to bother someone else.  Like-minded people are drawn to you instead.

Nonetheless, you will still encounter situations where learning or applying assertiveness is warranted.  Only you determine when the result you desire is worth your attention.  Worry, fear, anxiety need not be perpetuated.  That would dissipate positive, beneficial energy.  This is useful as it raises your awareness, prompts inner expansion and growth.

Amidst your relationships, you will learn what it feels like to encounter opposition.  You will also have opportunities to strengthen your inner self and opportunities to discern the service you can bring to another.  If you choose to vent negative energy, then this is a disservice, and an emotional cyclone.  It obscures or distracts you from true priorities.

How do you know if you see a ghost?

The idea of ghosts raises lots of human eyebrows.  People will often fervently believe in such things or, be convinced they do not exist.  Each person has a reason for their belief systems.  Not everyone is prepared to explore reasons for their beliefs.

Let's say not believing is grounded in fear and doubt about uncertainty.  Human beings will even deny what they supposedly perceive with their own senses.  This happens because those people are not ready to believe, or to open up to unexplained experiences.

If you believe in the supernatural, it is possible you have had some unexplained experience and this is how you understand it.  You may feel love and positive energy.  Your inner knowing may also help you connect to energy vibrations that other people do not choose to have.  What you believe, you consciously accept and embrace as truth.

I have a friend who shared a story about his visit to Bhutan.  This is a very spiritual country I look forward to visiting.  In any case, he rented a four wheel drive and took a guide with him into a remote area.  My friend got out of the vehicle to gaze at the breath-taking scenery and to meditate amidst nature.

Suddenly, as if from nowhere, an older woman appeared in native dress. She spoke in a dialect my friend's guide did not understand.  Now, the two men were many miles away from any village.  They were amidst steep mountains and rugged terrain.  Nonethless, the peaceful woman smiled continuously, bowed her head with a prayer gesture and seemed to walk by them.  When they turned, she was gone.  They sensed she was spirit energy.

Give rise to pure confidence

You may be one of those people who wonders how you could experience more joy, deeper happiness and increasing enthusiasm. Perhaps you have experienced confidence levels that rise and fall. You may simply be looking for more consistency or new levels of control.

It may have slipped your mind, but you already have all that is necessary to live an abundant life.  You have what it takes to provide you with strength as you need it.  You already have access to unlimited hope when you find yourself experiencing despair.  Sources of comfort can take the place of sadness.   You become more aware when ready.

To give rise to pure confidence, this requires you zero in on your reasons for sensing doubt and lack.  Neither exist, so you imagine them as a way to expand on your mental experience.  There is no fear unless you think of what that would feel like.  Then, you feel what you expect.  Imagine pure confidence and feel that.  Discipline your mind.

What makes you tick?

Human beings are constantly shifting their awareness.  This is how you evolve to figure out, 'what makes you tick.'  Things that stimulate your soul and authentic self differ from those things that trigger ego.  Learning to discern the difference is part of rediscovering what matters.  This explains what adds meaning to your physical existence.

Consciousness is a state of mind unconcerned with your belief systems, sense of ethics or desire.   As you heighten your awareness, you facilitate your own evolution.  This comes about as you develop greater awareness of how universal laws function, and how your thoughts regulate your life.  Certain unchangeable truths are detected by your feelings.

Every moment, part of you seeks an explanation for your behaviour.  You are serving others in ways you overlook.  It is a process to learn how to recognize what you do not notice.  Every choice has purpose, intention and underlying motivation.  That means, part of you does not desire to align energy or identify what it would require for you to change.  Indifference, judgement and discomfort have their own silent motivations.

Another way to view 'what makes you tick' is to ask yourself what evokes compassion, empthy, peace, love, the desire within yourself to assist others.  As you encounter obstacles, you feel compelled to sort things out in your own mind to convince yourself you follow choices grounded in your own reason.  It is how you decide to prepare and equip yourself for greater understanding that gets you where you know you already are.
