The topic of 2012 is explored in other posts on this site. As it happens, I will be a guest on a Blog Talk Radio 2012 New Age on Sunday, August 2nd to discuss related topics. For the moment, I invite you to reflect on 10 revelations about 2012;

1) Recognize the source of your perceived pain now.

2) Recall you chose to experience physical density and fear.

3) Notice when and why your emotions come into play.

4) Detect how your field of awareness is expanding.

Hello Liara,

I agree that all these revelations about 2012 are and have always been applicable to the spiritual seeker, If in 2012 the masses would be tuning into their greater purpose of aligning with Source and living from that realm, it would truly be transformational. It would be a far different world here on earth. Thanks for these revelations!

Hi Liara .. your topic on 2012 .. to me here in the UK it means the Olympics .. I went to Munich (not as a sports person!) but as an administration - great experience.

However now perhaps 2012 will be my time .. I'll have done all I can for my mother and she will be at peace with the world and my own life will be absorbing some of your practices .. that will be good.

Blog talk radio is also something I need to address .. and learn more about .. all in good time ..

Hilary, as you point out, 2012 has different levels of meaning for different people. The sports enthusiast is only one kind of person who relates 2012 to the upcoming Olympics. Right and wrong answers do not exist. Choices do. You instantly explore places and possibilites as you think about them. You also see more than one thing.

At a given moment, the nature of your thought-process and conscious awareness each contributes to your focus and mental priorities. Some people do permit themselves to experience multiple associations at once. That is, the spiritual part of you can resonate certain energy vibrations and visions. Other parts of you also feel something else.

Hi Liara .. we react to an idea eg blackberry .. with the immediate thought - a fruit for some, a tool for others .. when I wrote a post recently .. Gio thought it was a tool .. it was about me stepping on a snake as a tiny child and running away - we were out picking blackberries ..

So, as you say, we can think different things at once .. .

by the way .. what is happening in 2012? Or have I missed the point completely .. ?

Miruh, every human being is exploring different worlds, right now. This means every person interprets a given experience based on a perceived path and level of consciousness. The Mayan calendar, Hopi prophecy, Nostradamus, Biblical and religious revelations, scientific and spiritual seekers, all offer thoughts and reactions concerning the symbolism of 2012. People who engage in past life regression sometimes also explore future life progression to sense possibilities. You always have the option to go inward and ask self what it already knows but consciously forgot. Selective awareness has its purpose.

Statements on 2012 may be judgments based on fear or visions based on love. Individuals are invited to awaken from states of complacency, to recognize their own reaction or non-reaction to different kinds of shifts; in consciousness, awareness, paradigms, priorities, emotions and others. You decide on your focus now.

Just having a messy day non-concentration kind of day .. lots of brain power re my Mum .. and a big meeting tomorrow to resolve the issues - I hope .. and moving life on .. but as with all things - it's not straight forward .. I shall be glad when tomorrow has come and gone .. just lots to do and think about beforehand ..

Stephanie, every experience is a teacher. At any given moment, you choose your focus as well as what you are willing to learn. To focus on fear means you forget safety exists within. It is rediscovered and understood as you permit yourself to observe pain without participating in it. You are not pain. You define a relationship with it. To be grateful for the process means you sense lessons learned are not about you. They guide people to get back to love and light, and to graps how ego and feelings affect you.

i now experience an emotion that has unbound and unwritten my former definitions of love, with a potency that transmutes the paradigms of how i express eros and approach relationships.

detachment is an ironic and essential element of truth, intimacy and active compassion. we express and experience god as detached components of elements, not to be separate, but to be and witness the all most intimately in intimate combination and creation. can romance evolve as fast as love? can we remove love as mirror to our egos--makes me remember waking miffed at my lover for not coming to bed when i did the night before, and then seeing the hundred photos he'd taken all night as he studied me with fascination :)

Dawn, many human beings acknowledge perceived time seems to be speeding up. The result is people sense things are slipping away or, they want to do more in what seems to be less time. Some people would like to stop time, or record the now on film before they sense it will suddenly vanish. This perception results from shifts of consciousness. All a person actually needs to do is choose to end the self delusion about time. Eckhart Tolle talks about this in his book, The Power of Now. He reminds us to remember time and mind are inseparable. You convince the self it is limited based on endless focus on past and future. Another choice is to focus on the present moment. In truth, the past does not confirm your identity and the future is not necessary for salvation. All you ever need is available to you in the now. 2012 is about awakening to ideas you outgrow and who you truly are.
