I love the idea of karma, quite frankly, and often think in terms of "I'm acting my karma out with this person" when I have experiences with others. I cling to the idea that many of us have incarnated dozens of times over, so the people we're in contact with in this lifetime may have carried over from previous lifetimes, as do the exchanges we need to have for spiritual growth.
