Are you magnifying the right thing?

Its not the measurable size of an issue that matters, its whether you're able to put a situation into perspective.  When did you last  remind yourself that something positive was bigger than your perceived problems? Something greater could always intervene.

One point of view is that no matter what you experience right now, this can be seen as a stepping stone to get you somewhere better.  You don't have to remind yourself someone is always worse off than you are. You can focus in a different direction, a higher one.

When you remember than adversity is only temporary, you can evolve to realize the experience is making a lasting difference on you from the inside.  What if you decided to imagine that the nature of your future was reflected by the depth of your problems? Wouldn't that imply you're truly going places? Pride is irrelevant in light of your heart.

If you step back, you may sense a self-defeating mindset is holding you back like a ball and chain.  Huge may seem the obstacles in front of you, but more convincing is the faith inside yourself that enables you to surpass them. What you see is changing as a result of what you don't see.  Faith in yourself, in what is and will be transforms your life already.

Rob Parsons & 10 Tips from The 60 min Father

Rob Parsons' bestselling book, The Sixty Minute Father, was written as the result of his sense of failure as a parent who didn't spend enough time with his young children.

This author reviews his life and claims being a parent has itself been a dream come true.  He views it as his greatest joy and reason for his greatest sense of success and failure as a person.  He offers valuable lessons learned which apply to parenting more generally.

He has also written The Sixty Minute Mother and The Sixty Minute Marriage.  In all his books, he encourages us to reflect on our lives and choices.  What kinds of examples have been set? Which ones do you set? Would it be desirable to rethink some of your behavior?

1) Give love unconditionally

2) Give your time freely

3) Rediscover the power of praise

4) Laugh more often with children of any age

5) Defend the boundaries  (You will be tested. Choose your battles)

6) Recognize the uniqueness in each child

7) Set yourself free from what other people think

8) Don't delegate or avoid the "big issues"

9) Hang in there (don't give up)

10) Let them go when the time is right

How do you get to where you want to go?

Each of us is on an individual journey.  Each person designates events that serve as signposts and milestones.  Yet, many people will periodically stop and question their own motivations.  They wonder whether overturning all the stones in their path will lead them to the right place, the right mindset, the right perspective.  How do you get there?

When you feel content with the state of your life, you may sense that conscious goal-setting isn't necessary.  I've met people who set goals and experienced disappointment when they don't achieve the original plan.  Discomfort taught them valuable lessons.

You see, as you evolve to realize what you didn't get or experience isn't appropriate for who you really are, it all makes sense.  In fact, it may only be by not getting what you thought you wanted that you come to conclude it wasn't necessary or desirable at all.

All of a sudden, you begin to discern on new levels.  You start to recognize your emotions are a gauge that helps you get closer to where you want to go.  Its all in how you choose to read yourself.  The answers are there, inside.  You also have courage to read them.

Embrace your latest learning opportunity

Many people believe they have lived before, that is, their soul has lived and died in other physical bodies.  You may even believe your past lives influence your present life.  Do you believe you have earned your current circumstances with previous behaviour?  Do you intuit karmic credits and deficits that shape you? What can you discern from your soul?

If you sense time isn't linear or chronological, you may choose to view it as a spiral or infinite.  If so, you may sense it surrounds you with everything happening simultaneously.  You begin to understand how different kinds of information can be accessed and reviewed where you are.  Learning then takes exciting twists and turns.

Some people believe karma is created and influenced with each action.  It isn't necessarily a punishment for things you did in this life or others.  What if you could alter the nature of your karma by regressing back and healing or resolving things? You would then sense value in each reflection. If you were to delve into what seem to be your past lives, this may offer you proof of reincarnation. Is it time to test yourself or, open your mind wider?

Exploring your views may trigger dreams that begin to unlock past life memories.  Objects and symbols that stand out in dreams can also begin to uncover clues related to past identities.  Would you be willing to learn  more about who you are?

One test for identifying Tibetan lamas in young children is they should pick their own 'belongings' among different items.  If they do not hesitate to choose the right objects, they are recognized as a 'tulku' or reincarnated lama. The current Dalai lama is the 14th in his particular line.  He was identified using this and a series of traditional tests.

To go everywhere, choose to stay where you are

Events unfold with their own force.  Travellers are who they are because of what they take in and how they step back to see themselves.  They define meaning in each situation.  They also evolve to sense the invisible matrix that connects all events in time.

Are you the sort of traveller who goes with the flow? adapts and rolls with the punches? Or, do you tend to want to interfere, to control whatever makes the most sense to you in the moment?  You can go everywhere and still choose to stay grounded where you are.

If you believe in infinity, you believe you can go anywhere, do anything.  You may be drawn to unlimited possibilities and you may also sense a fear of going there.  You may have no interest whatsoever in reminiscing about your past, but your mind power generates realms and recollections that reorient you, wherever you choose to go.

Detachment is a companion.  It permits you to review experiences you had overlooked or disregarded.  Was it real?  Did the rush of energy and feelings shake you to the depths of your innermost foundations? A part of your psyche and soul each take the upper hand.
