Experience the infinite classroom

Analysis of dream submitted by Anonymous in Melbourne, Australia

Dream- I flew down from the sky into a bedroom in a lighthouse that initially appeared isolated on rocks and surrounded by the sea. From my vantage point on a round bed, I had spectacular view of the horizon through glass walls. A curious, sliding door opened at one side to a world on a cloud. A woman in a habit walked in to wheel out a white board she said would be useful elsewhere.  She pointed to a bright orb that entered the room and left.  She followed  what became green grass and a path that appeared as she moved.

Predominant Emotions- relaxed, surprise, attraction, joy, and sentimentality.

Interpretation- Freedom is the predominant theme in your life right now.  You may struggle among choices for learning.   The shadow of habits reminds you of the process of living up to promises you have made to yourself.  Life as you see it is not what you are.

Your life is like a blank slate.  You decide on your mission and purpose and take yourself where you feel meant to go.  What you sense and experience is your choice.  You can feel comfortable with yourself as you are.  People may write on your metaphorical blackboard, offering ideas and inspiration.  You can let them run away with that, absorb it, shape it or ignore the opportunties that present themselves in the form of inviting, open doors.

A spiritual orb refers to the soul of a human being who has passed over after death in this world. The soul is like the essence of who a person was to you, the memories of their behavior, emotions and personality.  Circles echo eternal existence, with no beginning or end. Who you are is related to what you've done and who you've known.

When an orb moves, its contrail reminds you that you leave a legacy by your thoughts and behavior.  Spirit energy compressed within the orb is released just like you release your energy to expand into your Earthly vision of yourself.  An orb may also contain more than one soul. When spirit energy is released, multiple orbs may flow forth from the single orb. The white light floats with purpose and guides as a beacon to inspire your journey.

Where does it begin and end?

When you reflect on your life, what causes you to feel successful? Is it the way you have gotten the job you have? Is it the nature of your relationships? Is it something else you've earned? Is it the state of your health and well-being? Maybe its a combination.

If you think of success like a circle, you may begin to believe that everything you think and feel is connected to your sense of success. Some people assume success is a result or, success is a process. Have you ever felt "in between" successes or like success is 'out-of-reach?'  What if success is intrinsic, immeasurable and differing than your current view?

What if you came to believe that success is partly a matter of learning to notice changes within yourself? To recognize what you are and what you're not, to discern how you feel and when you're experiencing something you've never experienced before.  As you evolve to observe yourself, you will detect meaningful energy and ideas you had missed before.

Human beings tend to be conditioned to assume success is a destination. Yet, success comes in different forms based on your perception, aspirations and priorities. It doesn't have to seem like it ends. Whenever you choose, you can believe you are successful as you are.  It doesn't matter where you are, who you know or, what you've done (or not).

Open your senses wider to glimpse the truth

You may not realize that everything you have come to associate with your life actually keeps you asleep. This isn’t the same kind of sleep as what you do at night. Although you awaken physically every morning, you remain unaware of what you really do and believe. What do you think it would take to awaken you from such an unconscious slumber?

When you are ready, you will experience an ego death. This requires that you lose a false sense of self, or everything you link with your current identity. This means that you must lose your sense of 'everything' to gain everything you do not yet se.  It is during what you perceive to be very difficult times that you will discover what really matters.

A transformation of consciousness comes as you choose to adopt elements of an identity that becomes more real and profound. Life experience will teach you that you have more courage and resourcefulness than you realized. To become lost and confused is necessary to discern how to find your authentic self. You will definitely know it when you find it.

In some ways, you may be accomplished and organized. Yet, in other ways, you have a long way to go. It doesn’t matter if you don’t remember details of what you’ve done for the results are the focus at hand.  Everything has led to this moment. You have been building strength for what you need to do.  Open your senses wider to glimpse the truth.

What would cause you to question your baselines?

Human beings seek to feel grounded in what they think they already know.  They find reasons to accept what they have been told about situations and abilities that enable them to feel comfortable.  What would cause you to question the origin and accuracy of your beliefs? Have any experiences altered how you view yourself and what is possible?

Consider Daniel Pinchbeck's book, 2012: The Year of he Mayan Prophecy.  This work offers perspectives to assist readers come to their own conclusions about 'synchonicities,' prophecies  and other psychic phenomena.  Scientists and philosophers disagree about explanations and the intrinsic value of sixth sense experiences.  Would a discussion with sceptical people influence your own view?

Dean Radin, director of the Consciousness Reseaerch Laboratory at the University of Nevada, has conducted and documented thousands of experiments in telepathy, precogniton and clairvoyance.  His book, The Conscious Universe: Scientific Truth of Psychic Phenomena indicates his tests fulfill the requirements of verifiability and repeatability and can also be measured. If you participated in such an experiment, and you were given proof of deceased loved ones, would that influence your beliefs?

Pinchbeck also noticed changes in his dream experiences after a journey in Gabon, Africa where he was initiated into the iboga cult of the Bwiti.  After that trip, his inner self transformed.  He noticed he would often dream of people he knew had already died.  The deceased seemed lost and looking fo advice.  His dream self acted as a shamanic guide to calm and orient the spirits to another place in the underworld. Although he acknowledges modern opinion would be that he was making this up or projecting, his intuition convinced him he was meeting with spirits.  This said, he realizes his evolving beliefs do not follow any rational framework for the afterlife.

These examples invite you to query what causes you to suppress and dismiss information about 'the unexplained?' Are you convinced you dream it all up? Or, do you have reason to think differently?

Work through your defenses

It may be said that the over-reaching goal of the soul is for its consciousness to master the nature of ego.  This may be understood as learning to detach from influence of the lower self.  The ego and lower self keep you grounded in lower enegy levels you don't need.

At a given moment, people only function at the level of awareness they're at. You aren't expected to be on the same wavelength as everyone.  In fact, based on your current perception, this won't happen in your sense of the physical world. You are however, meant to cease comparing and judging and to learn to accept wider responsibilities.

To get past your denial system would represent a new level of progress.  Each step means you are raising your conscious awareness. Denial is a technique you use to prevent you from getting-to know your authentic self.  Its impossible for you to measure the extent of your awareness because you limit yourself based on what you think you know now.

What  matters is your sense of growth.  More direction exist that youcurrently perceive or even imagine.  The direction and extent of growth doesn't matter.   You may think a person cannot change what isn't seen.  That isn't exactly true.  What you permit yourself to see is what you see.  This changes as you choose to work through  your own defenses.
