Jannie, you remind people they have the choice to life themselves up above the effect of their external circumstances. Some people ask what a tornado, a cyclone or other weather patterns of the world mean. You do not have to be picked up by a storm to choose to awaken. Natural phenomena do not control how you feel. Whether you get a job or become redundant, whether you are diagnosed with a disease or whatever, you can respond from a place of empowerment. Everything invites you to be more aware of what you feel. You feelings shape your perception, and how you experience all conditions.

To live in the "Now" is what we all aspire to achieve, but we tend to forget that ALL experiences make us what we are. We forget that we ARE living in the "Now" when we experience pain, grief, fear, elation, calmness, love, expectation, etc. All of these emotions are essential to our life experiences, and if we did not have these emotional experiences, we would be dull and lifeless....boring. By accepting each of life's gifts as they come, whether they are what we enjoy or not, we become closer to the higher beings we really are. Hi Liara .. yes at times I feel cornered and definitely out of kilter – but I always am able to bounce back and see a positive or two and I know the positives ahead & that always helps. I sincerely hope this roller-coaster has a golden lining somewhere .. I’m ready – the timing isn’t yet .. I must just keep my mind and my heart open, my energy levels need some sleep – but the power I know is there for when the time is right .. but I’m progressing all the time.
