Hold that thought!

Human beings have a tendency to hang onto what they no longer need. Its a process to figure out what is worth keeping, what is holding you down, back or just obscuring what you really are. How do you know whether to hold that thought?

1) What are you holding back? From yourself? Others?

2) When do you cling to ideas, promises or visions?

3) How does releasing the mind, body and spirit help you?

4) Which experiences or dreams inspire possibilities?

5) What happens as you feel waves rush through you?

6) Where is consciousness is all of this? How is it shifting?

7) Why are you gaining insight into resistance and surrender?

Yes, it amazes me how easy it is to hold on to things that no longer serve me. It feels as though energies are ingrained in my being and sometimes have me responding to life from old experiences. In some ways this is no longer occurring, in other ways treatment from my childhood still seem to rule.

You have asked some wonderful questions.
3) It helps me to be present to what is and also to be open to endless possibilities.

4) whatever inspires possibilities is a good thing to note and embrace.
As always, thank you for the inspiration.

Hilary, reflecting on thoughts is a way to gain new insight into your own needs, misperceptions and sensitivities. Opening to insight is the road to shift inner patterns and attitudes of the mind. Its a process to learn what makes sense, what confuses you, and what invites change. Every thought is energy. Every kind of energy has a frequency. In essence, you determine rate of occurrence of everything you choose to perceive. You open or close the senses.

It's funny, when I make a decision to stop doing something I make it quite quickly - like leaving my first husband, deciding not to go ahead with starting a Montessori pre-school and selling my old but then-beloved guitar. (It was a classical one and I moved on to my steel-string one.) I realized all at once those 3 things were not serving me well at all.

I am holding onto a lot of material clutter that needs to be either burned, sorted into beautiful boxes or sold / given away.

Like Leonard Cohen, my soul longs for less things. Luckily the power is in my very own hands to realease these material possessions.

Cleaning the stuff clears my mind and heart.

I sold the guitar to a man named Helmut in Germany, via eBay. And wrote a song about the experience which will most likely appear in the musical I'll eventually write. Kind of a funny tune in 3/4 time. "Helmut, oh Helmut, you''ll never know how much I loved seeing that guitar go."

I hold on to negative thoughts for way too long. They go round and round in my mind no matter how hard I try. Then suddenly they're gone! Why can't I just let them go to begin with? Perhaps I need to hold on to more of the positive thoughts.

I like it as it resonates with my approach of staying lean and carry small weight. For example, for my professional needs I use very few simple tools - my toolset is lean but i use it very effectively and efficiently. Fast results is what matters. Being lean helps a lot.
Jannie, the joy of being just is. Many humans grow dependent on what happens for their happiness. They often believe they are dependent on gaining or losing physical things or experiences. Impermanence is the most stable and predictable thing going. No person is ever deficient in any way. The acts of discarding and decluttering are actually acts of sharing. This draws attention to hidden compassion and perfection that exists to the astute senses. Inner joy, unconditional lvoe and self-acceptance exist beneath the judgment of what is apparently balanced, appropriate or not. You simply are. That said, Helmut loves his new guitar and your inspiring forthcoming song will continue to domino effect of love.

Penny, as you recognize thoughts you hold that do not serve you, this enables you to determine what to release and let go. When a person is not ready to acknowledge anything is wrong, then that he is not ready to consider change. You are clealy making meaningful progress. This is not a race. You only do things when you are ready.

Good Wednesday to you, dear Liara. How are you ?

Letting go of what doesn't work - not holding on to what is painful, has been one of the best gifts that comes with having the Universe impart more awarenesses !!!

Letting Go really CAN be a very good thing when it is for things that are positive for your growth, releasing that which no longer needed to teach you a lesson....

Tammie, imagine this blog as your sound board. It reflects back the questions your inner self has been whispering in the background. Your mind is not always paying attention. In another way, this blog is like a mirror, highlighting the ideas that you require right now. They find you, you find them. It is an interaction of vibrations for your benefit.

Patricia, as you deliberately feel into every experience, you show you are willing to live more fully, to discern inner sensitivity and learn to decipher the true meaning of hidden fear. Guides work with you from invisible realms. You are never alone. The healing process is ongoing. Old structures break down and you outgrow and move on.

Each human being is constantly readjusting to a shifting reality. As emotions are understood in different degrees, they no longer maintain their strong hold. Every person can realize the impact of misplaced desire to control. Every vibration is generated inside as a part of personal choices. Every human being is an energy being unconsciously testing the self on surprising levels.

Loving Annie, every person is at some stage of growth and healing. As you consciously choose to notice and outgrow certain habits or patterns, you move into new levels of consciousness. Everyone and everything is in training to shift through a spectrum of energies. This can be understood as colors, frequencies or a combination of energy form and formless states. Your level and degree of of sensitivities shape how you experience resistance and surrender. However you choose to understand it, you move through stages of awareness as part of a meaningful and life-transforming journey back to where you are.

Alik, sounds as though you like to get down to the bare bones of what is required. That is one process that enables human beings to transform in their level of wisdom. Many people believe it is useful to discard what they no longer need. Other people are conscious enough not to pick up unnecessaries in the first place. Regardless of where you believe you are and how you think, the learning curve continues for your benefit every moment.

Good evening again Liara. Blessings to you *light*

You know what I loved the most about your answer ? Whereas a few years ago I would not have had a clue what you meant, let alone the vibration of it -- now every word of it made sense to me and I understood/felt it fully :)

The truths you wrote are coming forth more and more now. I am so grateful.

Yeaaaaaay !!!! THANK YOU SPIRIT !

Loving Annie, every human being goes through processes of doubting and believing before moving to know what he is ready to accept on deeper levels. Every thought and feeling is a step on a path to transformation. Interactions with other people and beings speed up your inner evolution. Each creature and situation evokes your strengths and weaknesses, your positive energy and imagined illusions. Your energy field interacts with energy fields around you. This helps you raise awareness, draws attention to talent, hidden identity traits and insights that expand you. It is about choosing to be alert and to transcend ego. You rediscover the univesal love frequency.

Dear Liara,

One of the hardest things I have had to learn to do is to let go of things. I still struggle with it but I have gotten so much better with this. Too often, I used to cling to negative thought patterns and negative self-beliefs and when you dwell in such a place, it most definitely hinders growth.

Thank you as always,

Melinda

Melinda, every human being is moving along a spectrum of energy to gain deeper insight into self. This facilitates deeper discernment. As a person learns when and why negative patterns arise, this is a step toward dissolving them consistently. Every thought is a choice. Mental shifts in consciousness must occur to create lasting change. Helping other people raise awareness about themselves is also a way to raise your own conscious awareness. Each person is becoming aware that soul essence is an observer while the mind and body participate in physical existence. The process of merging observer with mind, body and spirit is soul realignment. Thoughts and feelings shape conscious, unconscious or stagnant phases.

Hi Liara,

I think that we all have to have a mental rummage sale. Get rid of all of those old items that we put in the closet, drawers or garage and make room for a new consciousness, a new experience, a new way to explore our inner space.
May 14, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterAlexys Fairfield
Alexys, some human beings discover decluttering their physical conditons is a step toward a psychological rummage sale. Everyone nurtures beliefs or ideas that do not serve them. When you choose to share with others those physical things you no longer need, you give away part of the false self. You realize you are simultaneously working through the mental blockages that convinced you the stuff was necessary in the first place. This is a process of gradually facing what is hidden in the subconscious so that you transcend it. You destabilize to learn the meaning of stabilize. You shed what you thought you needed to feel the truth. No thought is useless. Every moment, you gain insight into your emotional triggers, parts of the self that had been rejected. Learn to love it all unconditionally.
