Where does one go from here?

To awaken to the moment is to be willing to remind yourself of some fundamental points that orient your perception, belief systems and mindset. Bringing them to conscious awareness helps you decide where to go from here;

1) Realize misery is a choice. Review your take on basic mortality. Evolve to see it as it is, notice reactions of love or fear. Revelations are a springboard to transform you. To allow emotion to control you teaches you how to feel powerless, unloved and unlovable.  Reactions are all extensions of you.

2) Know love opens the senses. You are invited to view the self and the world with pure compassion. Sensing harmony, kindness and sharing shifts focus from desire to receive. Deep appreciation for life helps focus the mind on fearlessness.  You determine if you listen to love wisdom filling consciousness.

3) Rejecting invalidates who you are. To ignore soul impulse and practical experience is to ignore what is inside. When and if you will be aware and stop what does not serve you, is completely up to you. The ball is in your court.

4) Return to a dependable source. To grasp the source of your values, thoughts and actions helps you recognize the trail of unconscious conditioning and what truly comes naturally. Ideas from the universe do not have any Earthly source.

5) Experiment with truth.  As you choose to test your own assumptions, and move beyond just rationalizing, you come to realize what works.  Free will means you can discard ideas you outgrow that no longer seem to apply. Truth is as you like it, or not. It is static. Only external self transforms.

It is really all about the choices we make. We can choose not to be miserable. I love the thought about experimenting with truth. Truth is a very interesting concept and as we delve deeper into "truth" we often find more questions than we do answers, however this helps us to better understand the notion of truth.

Mark, the common thing to do is think how other people do, go where everyone else seems to be going. As one learns to stop thinking, awareness comes into view. How long your voyage to truth lasts is different for each incarnated soul. Each person charts a voyage to consciousness and determines what he is willing to gain.

Liara,

Experimenting with truth is an interesting dichotomy because we know what feels true for us, yet we will still experiment until it is confirmed inside. We know but we don't know. Knowing is a series of not knowing.

Alexys, stages of awakening exist. In reality, many layers of truth exist as well as many layers of delusion. When a person consults intuition and remains open to signals given, then that person is willing to accept the form or formless states of truth, even wher the reply from soul is not what you expect, not what you consciously hope for.

I do see the part about condulting intuition, provided we let light and pureness of spirit guide us to it.

intuition can also lead us astray if we allow it.

Jannie, if something leads you astray, it is not intuition. What leads you astray is the ego mind parading as something it is not. You may choose to listen to ego on purpose as part of your timeless learning curve. Intuition is based on pure love, harmony and positive energy alone. Through love,patience and understanding, one can learn to discern the difference. Its all part of a process.
