What is really missing?

Human beings often decide they want something.  They are convinced something is missing.  This may be an object, a goal or, something that cannot be bought. This may be something immeasurable and formless.  Mind appears to imagine want and create hindrances. What if nothing is really missing?

To want nothing implies you already have everything. To choose not to make or want anything reminds you completeness exists already. Love expands in an empty mind.  This is discerned as you remember to see and feel clearly.  When was the last moment you felt absolutely free to just be?

Physical existence offers many opportunities for every human being to gain insight into his condition.  You may wonder what this means.  The true meaning is in front of you at this moment.  Letting go and releasing unnecessary thoughts differs from holding on and resisting.  The universe gives everything.  To rediscover the feeling of completeness prompts one to wonder why people make life so complicated.

Before mind appears, emptiness is all there is.  Emptiness is energy. Energy is emptiness.  Energy transforms. To be willing to go through a learning process enables you to tap into the true self. You return to the clean mirror, before words, thought and distractions.  Every lesson brings you back to the Source.

We gather and enter into knowledge which can seperate, fracture and compartmentalize the mind. But, as we begin to finally process, digest and bring together the energy we have attached ourselves to into a haromonious story, a sense of completion is attained. The story is released into the world leaving only emptiness and fullness of One mind...bringing us back home once again.

Liara,

This is what I strive for when I meditate--to cleanse myself of myself and all my thoughts--to leave myself an open and empty vessel for light and energy to enter and direct me.

For a long time, I felt frustrated by meditation--as though I was not 'doing it right' until I finally learned that meditation is about a process and there is nothing wrong or right about this process, only learning to reach a higher plane. Thanks as always, for your wisdom.

Sometimes you really need to stop and let the world flow into you. But it's so hard. Have you never hard that feeling of survivor guilt? I mean like when you are so happy praying meditating, doing spiritual stuff and know that there are people hungry.

I know you care, I have the evidence right before my eyes.

Well said, "Before mind appears, emptiness is all there is. Emptiness is energy. Energy is emptiness. Energy transforms. "

Thanks for these beautiful words, a reminder that everything is right here, right now.

Bernie, inner knowing is like a functional kaleidoscope, a living, breathing phenomena. It expands and contracts with a soul's willingness to accept and engage more actively in the ongoing process. The Oneness and inter-connectiveness of everything always exist, but conscious awareness is not necessarily aligned. Completeness is also constant, but acknowledgement and consciousness shift to recognize it when an energy being is truly ready. What you do not accept, you are not ready to apply.

Melinda, self-acceptance is a process itself. A meaningful step is to remind yourself what it means to be honest about and true to your basic spiritual and emotional needs. Learning to love and accept others as well as the self as they are emerge from that. You are poised to remember the lost knowledge of more than your origins.

Miguel, part of the process involves teaching the self to remember how to remove the mind from dramas. Though choosing to commit to the "right" action may not seem easy, that is only because ego is exerting influence. The right action is always a loving action. You are always in a position to send compassion. The physical body is an energy field of transforming intelligence. View the self as a dynamic shifting cloud of consciousness. Guidance is always offered from directions and sources you are not yet willing to imagine. That makes them no less real. Its your call when to create the thoughts that liberate the soul. Take that step and events suddenly fall into place to assist you. Aloneness is illusion. Guilt is also illusion.

What IF nothing is missing? That's an amazing thought!

Miruh, consider the soul Self chooses to be confined in a particular physical body in this world right now. Physical limitations are only temporary obstacles. Part of the reason each energy being exists is to learn to create, manipulate and shape energy that comprises the physical world. Many lessons remain. Each being chooses the next task at hand. Incarnated form is full of surprises for the awakening self. Part of you is already very well-aware.

Mama Zen, different ways exist to think outside the box. Body and mind offer infinite insight into what is really happening within and around you every moment. Its up to you to choose to have faith in what you already know and stop ignoring this source of profound wisdom and self-understanding. You are in the driver's seat of your life.

Nothing is missing when I'm in the present moment. The rest is an illusion.

Tess, to consistently know something is a stage you reach as you effectively dissolve the basis for misplaced beliefs. Each energy being is in the midst of a process of retraining the mind. You peel layers. The physical environment is but one of the available teachers. Inner knowing always exists. Everyone can reach it.

This is a great post. It's such a good question to ask ourselves: "What is really missing?"
April 16, 2009 | Unregistered Commenterpositively present
Positively Present, every human being has the capacity to trigger internal revelations. Perception of reality is held in mass consciousness as well as in individual consciousness. To recognize lack is an illusion is a step to bring one closer to inner wholeness. This includes all the implications on every other area of physical existence and what lies beyond. Part of each energy being awaits re-alignment. Soul self knows what it requires and how.
