Hear the plea of your true self
People will quickly disregard what seems to be "a freak of nature." And yet, a closer look reveals other possibilities.
To reflect on my wedding reminds me of certain events. After the ceremony, the wind died down and the ship floated idly on the open ocean. It was serene and magical. Little did I know at that moment, how enchanting it was to become.
Out of the blue, I was prompted to say a silent prayer. Then, I called aloud with conviction, "Angels, let there be wind!" I voiced this for everyone to hear. Apparently, my plea was also heard by others, attuning on another vibration or wavelength.
Much to the surprise of wedding guests, the wind came up with gusto. Multiple sails expanded. People smiled in disbelief. I joked, "you should hear what I do after hours!" clearly under-estimating my own power. The hundred-fifty foot vessel sailed back into the harbour at a glorious speed. We moved out of conditioned patterns. This process had long ago begun.
Although people view things from their own vantage point and colored by their own beliefs, they all experience the same phenomena. Why is it that one person would believe in telpathy or divine, heavenly intervention, while others would create explanations based on completely different logic? Note:
1) You cannot grasp everything as it is through human thought.
2) You have never lost and can always restore faith in what you do not see.
3) That which evokes your discomfort confirms things you would prefer to deny.
4) Energy takes different forms and enables you to build on your sense of self.
5) You may experience things you do not like to hear, but that does not make them untrue.
Recall Jesus said, "Blessed are the poor in spirit." Its possible he meant no identifications or sense of self that would distract you from the truth of the unseen. As you evolve to sense a voice and a thinker within, you may also notice something imperceptible has taken possession and liberated your soul.

What a lovely post! I envisioned everything you wrote of and actually even felt the wind caress my skin:0)
Yes, our true self lingers so closely yet, we forget to give it it's own voice and vision.
Congratulations on your wedding if it's not too terribly late! Thank you for your insight!
You've reminded me of the words to a song that I used to sing at celebrations with members of a native circle. It was sung with no instruments most times, but sometimes drums or rattles were played.
"Hear the wind voices. Ride the river of your soul. (repeat).
And become. Become. Become.
You have the sun within. You are the all that is.
Ride the silver river... and, become."
I am a believer. My prayers are answered but I also know that they will be answered in ways that I may not understand at the moment, but eventually I will understand.
I listen to my inner self - I act instinctively and impulsively. I believe that this is listening to my inner self.
I really like your story about your wedding. I have to tell you that my first thought as I read that was "wow she has guts" - there were many things I would have loved to say in front of our wedding guests, but at this time would not allow myself. Indeed, people still deny and put down anything that gives them any kind of discomfort and instead of looking for answers within, they label the other person as perhaps a "freak" or something like that ;)
Talk about being gone with the wind.
You have proven that your words are powerful - and I hope your husband was listening. LOL.
My first visit to your site. And, I am enchanted. Nice!
I'll be back...
Davina, those lyrics are timeless. They invite listeners to become more aware of their breathing, less aware of what does not matter. To sense the musical notes of infinity is itself a magical experience. You encourage people to reflect on part of what makes existence fulfilling.
rummurser, the nature of my posts is in constant evolution. Certain blog categories contatin more spiritual posts; consciousness and guardian angels as well as the dreaming ones in particular. The nature of my coming book follows the evolution of spirituality within me.
Evita, as you evolve to question yourself less, you feel more comfortable saying what you feel without fear of judgment. You may get a kick out of a newspaper story written about me called, She's from Another Planet."
Alexys, I believe he is still listening, yet he does not always decipher or grasp what I am saying!
Conrad, when you deliberately stretch your limits and experiences, you realize that they are self-enlarging as long as you are willing to consciously influence the course of events. Much more than that is simultaneously unfolding. You absorb and accept whatever you choose.
In that book, the person said certain things like willing the driver in front of her to do certain things like pumping on the brakes or turning off the highway into a parking lot.
I know this is not the same thing as what you did on your wedding day but both are fascinating, nevertheless!
Actually your wedding story reminds me of what Jesus did when the apostles were at sea during a terrible storm. Jesus simply calmed the waters by simply commanding that it do just that.
I have not had this experience so I'm curious as to what gives you this capability? Is it belief? Did you belief you could stir up the winds?
