Stay in touch with who you are

Dream- I was making my way up an incline of cobblestones. I leaned intermittently on two umbrellas that I used as canes.  One had a crooked handle and the other one was straight.  Although folded, both umbrellas appeared colorful.  I sensed I was learning to stand on my own two feet and foudn myself able to walk without them.  My sisters looked down on me as they waved from a wooden balcony.  I veered off down an alley which was out of their sight. I sensed my dad.  He was facing obstacles in a rock cave.  I saw two boulders and a three-dimensional rectangle of black onyx in his path.  He found ways around them to reach the light at the end of the tunnel.  I floated outside but saw inside.

Predominant Emotions- insecure, growing confidence, supportive, resilient, and spirited. 

Interpretation-  You are moving toward what you perceive as naturally-occurring within yourself.  This requires that you acknowledge what you are not and accept your state of being.  As soon as you call something into your life, the opposite will appear as if to prepare you for different experiences.  They simply reinforce what is. 

This process reveals how you are open to confronting your own feelings and letting your emotions come to the surface.   Open umbrellas often symbolize protection or that you shield yourself from discomfort.  You are realizing you have no need to lean on others for help as much as you did.  External approval matters less than learning to trust yourself.

To cross a road represents your willingness to approach a crossroads in your life.  You have options to join the familiar or choose not to conform.  The more you explore your unconscious, the more you raise your awareness and expand your mind.  Your soul journey is teaching you how to discern illusions and also to heighten your hidden abilities.

Liara - perhaps I should submit some of my dreams to you, for a second opinion - they are interesting to say the least ;)

It just seems to me that sometimes in my dreams I do not find the peace and tranquility that I do in my waking life (nothing bad) just highly adventerous.
