3 Tips to learn to self-control
Dreaming as you do, you move toward becoming more aware that you are dreaming as this is actually happening. You may underestimate how this activity enables you to train your mind. No doubt you wonder what dream control exists and what kinds are desirable.
Consider you can evolve to regulate not only your response to dream content, but also the themes of your dreams. People can learn to work through problems in dreams. You may ask yourself what really is possible? Reflect on three tips to learn self-control;
1) Value your scary dreams. As you learn to face the source of your fear in dreams, you gain a measure of self-control and confidence that carries over to how you function while awake. You begin to realize you exert control over what you think and feel in life.
2) Recognize controlling others is not the answer. Although you may employ magic in dreamworlds and even transform creatures with thoughts or spells, wishing for people to disappear in real life is not an effective solution. Conjuring is not the way to solve your problems. Changing your attitude and perception of conditions is more useful.
3) Rethink your assumptions. How you handle obstacles, conflicts and discomfort in waking life comes back to your assumptions about what is and is not possible. Whether you choose to become a more experienced dreamer and what level of awareness you reach in waking life each influence what you are willing to create and tackle in dreams.

Dreaming is such an integral part of enlightenment. If only more people would give their dreams power. The Mayans used to discuss their dreams over breakfast, it was a part of their daily development.
Dreams are the road to our Soul and more people would benefit if they learned to walk it and embrace that part of their lives.
You recently analyzed a couple of dreams on your blog. Are still doing that? I had a doozy of a nightmare the other day where I was about to be murdered. I have my own thoughts on what it meant, but curious what you'd say.
I noticed you are publishing a book soon; that idea always revs me up. I'll be checking back to see when.
Thanks for these tips, we have the ability to work through in the dream state what we need to know in the waking state. Soul's lessons are always going on in both states.

Learning to control your thoughts and feelings relates back to discipling your mind. It is always within your grasp to expand your sense of who you are.

We cannot control what happens outside of us, but we can control how we perceive and react to stimuli. Trying to look at things from a broader perspective, helps!
