Why resist the inevitable?
Many people resist their feelings, resist their impulses, and resist those things that enable them to add meaning to their lives. You may be surprised at how many times you have resisted your better judgment. It happens often. Your awareness is still growing.
Reflect on when you last crossed your legs to postpone going to the toilet. You had other things to do, right? And what about how many times you have ignored your growling tummy in favor of finishing some project, television program or, other distraction? What about ignoring yawns from your mouth? Just stretching facial muscles? Squinting for fun?
Physical examples lead you to grasp that you also resist on spiritual and other levels. You resist things you do not see. Part of you is unaware of what you do. Part of you resists reminding yourself of the truth. Pace yourself. You develop and expand understanding.
Raising self-awareness is inevitable. It occurs in stages. It helps explain why you begin to recognize the things you do not as you do them, but before, as you conceive of the very ideas. This goes a step beyond anticipating. You move toward stepping outside your physical body and sensing who you really are. This is deep. Lying to yourself only postpones the inevitable. Resistence defines your learning curve. Let go. Unleash soul.

Although I have written the above rather 'tongue in cheek', that is exactly what has happened. (actually I did it before I read this post)
I'll let you know what transpires. (it feels good tho')
