How would you describe your truth?

You can ask someone what they view as "truth" and that person will offer a perspective.  That is not the only source of the truth.  In fact, what people tell you only becomes your truth if you decide it matters and you focus your own energy on it.

At a given moment, your view of the 'truth' is made up of whatever you choose to focus on.  In other words, as you think about something, you create feelings about it and offer a vibration to manifest it. This is a kind of soul truth that emerges.  Your increasing awareness allows you to gain insight into why things happen, why a sense of truth shifts.

Another way to view the truth is to consider how you feel about someone, something or, some experience you have yet to know.  Your physical environment is only as real as you decide it will be.  You choose to accept or reject interpretations of your senses.  The reality you believe is stable or solid is actually changing at the very pace you will permit.

If you evolve to where you are aware that your sense of reality changes, then you will admit that your sense of the truth or fact changes too.  Part of you may believe that certain truths never change while other parts of you are constantly expanding and becoming.  These parts of you that are not always on your radar screen are the parts that urge you to reconnect with the truth within.  All you feel is a part of a wider truth.

Reality is defined by the perceptions acquired by your observations. So I guess that means truth is perceived.

Eric S., as you acknowledge what you perceive becomes your truth, it becomes easier to add context in your life. For example, if you choose to perceive an adorable canine in your midst, then you will be more likely to perceive canines with appealing traits. Similarly, if you anticipate undesirable temperament in canines or people before or after you see them, then your experiences will reflect it. In this way, at a given moment, you begin to understand how you create your versions of the truth. You believe what you choose. How you feel shapes what you believe. What you imagine or desire evokes the feelings that drive you. Thus, the truth is what you say it is and it changes with you.

Hi Liara,
Great post title.

I would describe truth as indescribable. Everything, yet nothing. It is a motion that is forever defined, then redefined. All I can say is truth us how you live. It defines you rather than you defining it.

Alexys, I love your analogy. Some people believe the truth is imperceptible yet, still magically evokes inner peace, understanding, and unwavering happiness. One view of truth says it is those things that bring you closer to self. It may seem easier to sense what the truth is not or, at least to recognize who is not being honest. People are often unaware of their own dishonesty or self-delusion. Rediscover honesty and uncover truth.

I would describe my truth, as the un-elaborated rationalisation of an event, or state of being, in relationship to myself and it's manifestation, at the moment of gestalt.

Henry, you begin to understand that you express little of your true self in the physical world. You only manifest a small part of your true self where you think you are right now.

When a human being expresses his sense of truth based on human assumptions about eternal principles, he may not understand that spiritual knowledge becomes apparent inside through evolution. Part of you does not yet have a vehicle or outlet for expression. As you continue to explore your inner self, you realize lessons are available in everything. The truth is rediscovered as you choose to learn from every experience and deepen your sense of resposibility to more that what you feel connected to already. You evolve.

For me this goes back to the thing we talked about two primary emotions: fear and love. Truth for me (at this point in my life) instills great Love...non truth has the potential to instill fear...in the sense that I can use this awareness as a guide and move toward that which instills Love and let go of that which potentially could instill fear.

And yet on another track, there is only truth. Anything else doesn't exist. But that is looking at it on another level, a very immemse Universal level. And may not make sense in reference to what you wrote here.

Robin, everything you think and feel makes sense. You need only decide it does. No force other than your innate will is strong or worthy enough to guide you. Truth may also be understood as experience that ego does not grasp. Fear is the personality of ego. Neither fear nor ego are truth. Love is what you are not split consciousness. It is your indestructible essence the quality of spirit. It is capable of guiding you if you permit that.
