Give rise to pure confidence

You may be one of those people who wonders how you could experience more joy, deeper happiness and increasing enthusiasm. Perhaps you have experienced confidence levels that rise and fall. You may simply be looking for more consistency or new levels of control.

It may have slipped your mind, but you already have all that is necessary to live an abundant life.  You have what it takes to provide you with strength as you need it.  You already have access to unlimited hope when you find yourself experiencing despair.  Sources of comfort can take the place of sadness.   You become more aware when ready.

To give rise to pure confidence, this requires you zero in on your reasons for sensing doubt and lack.  Neither exist, so you imagine them as a way to expand on your mental experience.  There is no fear unless you think of what that would feel like.  Then, you feel what you expect.  Imagine pure confidence and feel that.  Discipline your mind.

I'll try it because I'm feeling down at the moment

That is my honest reply...I feel trapped - maybe I will write privately in greater detail...or maybe only I can suss it out. Certainly, I'll try imagining into reality and report back.

Hi Liara,
A rousing post worthy of rousing applause. We are complete as we are. We should come with a warning label: Illusion causes delusion. We are vibrant living beings seeking to better understand how to maintain a sense of purpose and happiness. The answer: Just be.

Good reminder! We do have all the answers and we can remove the doubts which infringe on our confidence.

Liara, I love the idea of pure confidence. Now, if I really can just get myself there... I guess I really to need to evaluate why I have doubt in my life. Much to think about, thank you...

Lance, your sense of Divine Spirit is the answer. The Course of Miracles reminds human beings that this is the answer to everything. Ego is the source of doubt. Ego does not know the real question, and yet, it queries endlessly and prompts you to develop doubt. You learn more about pure confidence as you learn to question the value of ego and all the feelings evoked as you listen to it. You are alreaduy evolving to evaluate its questions from a more detached and informed vantage point. When you are tempted to question why you doubt, it is the egos belief that you need healing. Choose to ask Higher Forces to to help you shift your perception. The ego prompts you to distort how you perceive. Spirit encourages you to align energy and rediscover balance.

Mark, great to hear from you! No matter how much we believe we know, our awareness and energy are not completely aligned to where they could be. Otherwise, we would not exist as we do at this moment. How we awaken to re-learn pure confidence signals we have been asleep and unaware in ways that chip away at our otherwise uplifting spirit.

Alexys, you may have heard the phrase, "make complicated what is simple." In the French language, the comparable sentiment is expressed as, "chercher midi a quatorze heures." These notions point out that human beings have a tendency to seek what they need in the wrong places. Conditioning distorts the truth. People tell you where you will find happienss, how you can develop confidence. Now, all experiences help you to expand. Yet, not in the ways you assume. Many people assume it would be too easy to accept "being." Life is as complicated or as simple as you choose. That is a humbling exercise.

Henry, write whatever coems naturally. Certain sentiments defy human expression and explanation. You have surely begun to realize that life experience is an invigorating and practical course. Given your willingness to learn and explore your feelings, there is nothing you cannot do, see, think, believe or feel. You work and evolve at your own pace.

"There is no fear unless you think of what that would feel like."
Just as we imagine fear, we can imagine confidence. To stay conscious to make the choice is the practice. Thanks for this uplifting post Liara. Have a great weekend!

Miruh, if a person chooses to disregard inner sources of strength, then that person cannot be surprised at the weakness he feels. The universal law of cause and effect is unwavering.

I love your statement "Imagine pure confidence and feel that". You are so right, if we can feel the emotion, we have a greater chance of believing and achieving whatever we set out to do. Great post! :-)

Sandra, it is always helpful to remind ourselves that we are what we think about. You are the captain of your own ship. Many people underestimates their inner power.
