4 Discoveries you can make during astral

Robert Monroe's many astral journies helped him uncover unexpected abilities that are within your reach in your own consciousness.  During astral, his spirit remained connected to his physical body by an etheral cord while he proceeded to explore beyond the time-space continuum. His self-directed learning reveals some basic truths about meaning and purpose in life and beyond familiar layers of existence:

1) You have several knowns. Experience is the greatest teacher. As you get-to-know yourself in astral, you will gain insight into your non-physical side. You have a fear layer, an emotional layer and barriers you create based on conditioned Earthly belief systems that you must learn to grasp and erode. As you work through them, you realize the true you is an "observer" that watches reactions and operates a fear-dissolving process. Astral empowers you correct your own misunderstandings.

2) You do not need a physical body to exist and be. Learn to recognize you are more than a physical body. This offers instant perspective to any pleasure or pain. You can end your astral experience whenever you choose.  You can turn inward and discover an entirely new spectrum of being and doing.  While you are still connected to a physical world, you can explore the far reaches of infinity with your mind.

3) You can liberate yourself from any and all Earth-life-generated beliefs. Tap into your supermemory and past lives. Discerning thought patterns in present-day activity and connecting them with flashbacks will assist you to overcome anxiety, frustration, fear or whatever holds you back. The left brain becomes entrenched in the physical world and resists anything that may interfere with this process. Astral enables you to sense the timeless, core self that is unaffected by Earth's system.

4) You can heighten awareness and detect signals from spirits who have passed. Spirits that have separated from their physical bodies may send out signals that draw you nearer to them.  Some of them may be your own former incarnations.  As you find confused entities, you may choose help them move upward toward the light. Their vibrations will differ from your own and they will disappear just as you will when the time is right. As you return to the physical, they will proceed their way.

Floating somewhere with a hitch

Analysis of the week on dream submitted by M.P. of Melbourne, Australia.

Dream:  It was the freakiest thing.  I floated upward to have a perspective of my physical body. I felt distinct and separate from it.  I tried looking away and floating higher, but I struggled.  I still felt tightly connected and couldn't get away.  I did want to, but in my mind, I was still quite attached.   I noticed my fingers stretched like they were elastic. Was I some superhero? These fingers retracted with a snap!

Predominant emotions:  Determined, control, self-conscious, hesitant, enchanted.

Interpretation: Some new experience in waking life heightens your sense of joy and freedom.  Yet, your self-imposed limitations convince you that you aren't totally "free." Perhaps you feel a bit like a kite or a balloon on a tether?  What or who is it that really 'weighs you down?' Isn't it you? You're far more flexible than you realize. 

This dream may draw attention to your own fear-producing unknowns. Learning how to control and understand your emotions enables you to clarify reasons for some of your beliefs.  Popular labels may influence you to ignore how you truly feel about a situation.  Do you struggle to listen to yourself or to signs offered by your physical senses in light of the status quo? You clearly desire to move beyond this obstacle.

If you believe in the out-of-body (OBE) or 'lucid' dreaming, then you may also acknowledge the other end of your etheral cord is your physical body.  OBE is a state of consciousness where part of you retains a sense of connection to the form of your familliar physical body.  In an out-of-body state, you are no longer confined by time-space.  You begin to sense you're in it, but not part of it.  You become increasingly aware that you shape your own perception and conscious awareness in waking life.

3 Tips to enhance your speeches

How often do you dream of making a more effective speech? It may be for office colleagues, for family or friends at a function, for students in class, or peers in an organisation. At some point in life, you will likely be asked to say at least a few words. No reason for an emotional breakdown. There's hope! Planning ahead will enable you to feel relaxed, enthusiastic and do a great job. Consider these tips:

1) Find out about your audience. If you're engaged to provide a particular service, whether or not you'll be paid, then you'll be more effective if you know a bit about the people you'll be talking to. Consider things like the age, gender, professional background, life experience, what they may have in common as a group, and what they will know about the subject of your talk. Learning things like when and where you'll give your talk also offer insight into the possible frame of mind of your audience. Will they be in a serious mood or 'laid back?' Is there a chance they'll be drunk? All of this will help you choose a talk that will have more widespread appeal.

2) Assess the purpose. Are you planning to entertain? to inform? to persuade? elicit information? motivate donation-giving? What does the topic mean to your audience? They will have more respect for you as a speaker if you're confident about what you're doing and they relate to your talk. If you come up with appropriate analogies that enable audience to feel you dialogue with them, then the tone, word choices, and subject matter will coincide and strengthen your talk. Audience may interject.

3) Prepare your material. Some people have a knack for speaking intelligently 'off the cuff.' Yet, the majority of good speakers research their topic, practice the talk, get input from other people about material or jokes, and take other steps to generally prepare in advance. The more you know about the speech situation, mood of audience (happy or sad), and nature of the venue, the better prepared you'll be.

Past-Life Regression with the Angels

As you learn to feel more comfortable communicating with your angels, this will enable you to discern details about your current life you may have suppressed or forgotten. People who choose to explore past-life regression in more depth can evolve to heal themselves of phobias, addictions and nagging emotional issues. If you desire to go further than exploring your own past lives, you may take courses that qualify you to assist others explore past lives and help them resolve issues.

Whether or not you were the person you see in a past lifetime is less relevant. In the end, what counts is the insight and understanding you gain into your present issue. What might explain your 'here and now?' Angels can help you build self-confidence.

2) Be open to acknowledging possible reasons for blockages To reap benefits on the horizon requires you remain open to recognizing possible reasons for your emotional issues or blockages. They relate to patterns which have evolved in this lifetime and during previous lifetimes. You have the freedom to reach out to listen to instructional CDs, to read materials, attend workshops, consult angel guides and work with earthly experts. Take any steps you sense will help you reassure yourself.

3) Prepare to create healthier habits. Decide you will explore the language of your patterns and move beyond it. Progress hinges on your conscious decision to plan for a different future. As you work accompanied by your angels, you begin to sense what you hope to gain from each experience. Treat reflection as a valuable experience. If you ask, your angels will encourage you to raise awareness about your thoughts.

4 Ideas to help you cross that bridge

In order to become what you truly wish to be, it’s vital to become aware of who you are right now, even if you notice things you don't like. To raise awareness of situations and feelings you have avoided facing is to begin to recognize you have the power to change. It’s uplifting to realize that as your consciousness evolves, you may choose to change. Your views of the world will also evolve with you.

1) Consider the possibility ‘another way exists.’ Why is it your mind may wander to think you’re dissatisfied or lacking somewhere? Why is it you feel compelled to judge others or worry that you’re inadequate? You could choose to rethink any sort of negativity and concentrate instead on all your blessings. This reminds you that you must choose to participate in a different kind of life rather than simply seek it. Only then you'll discover what you think and need is with you at all times.

2) Re-evaluate what you see as important. How often do you spend time on “non-essentials?” Many people tend to get worked up or worry about situations that have no meaning or real impact on the flow of their lives. Was that a just passing fancy? Are you highly-aware of what you have an don’t? Materialism and anger have no connection to your soul, your unconditional sources of love and inner joy.

3) Examine addictive mental patterns. When was the last time you succumbed to fear or a sense of separation from where you had hoped to be? If you have a habit of giving into thoughts of fear, you would benefit from developing spiritual discipline. That is, you need to remind yourself of your ability to control your thoughts and move beyond ego. Bliss is the experience of truly being. Stop putting things off.

4) Shift your perception from fear to love. What would happen if you made the conscious choice to love everything about your life for what it is? You would invite only love. Every experience is an invitation to explore deeper into your true self, to become wiser and more loving. Lessons await you wherever you are. Are you willing?
