What is it all for?

There time comes in the life of a human being when philosophy sets in.  You know, questions like, "why do I exist?," "how will I know?" and "what is the point of it all?"

Many generations pass through this window of opportunity called existence and ask the same things.  Do you ever think that you are part of one big repetative circle? If you do, you are right.  If you do not, you are right as well.  The answer isn't something that appears in front of you.  Rather, you emerge to create it.  You are the answer you seek.

So many souls will approach me with questions and act as though the answers must lie outside themselves.  This is a simple misunderstanding.  Nothing lies outide yourself.  If you have seen the Matrix movies, you gain insight into analogies.  You do not need a physical connection to a machine to realize you are part of something beyond yourself.

Awareness proceeds change.  A person is not expected to eliminate a mindset or a weakness that he does not grasp within.  The more open you are to asking questions and raising awareness, the more informed you become.  You are already well on your way to evolving attitudes and perceptions that are not helpful.  You decide what is next.

How do you get off the hook?

How often have you had the urge to find a way to get off the hook? You know, you have done something you are not especially proud of and would like forgiveness so you can move on. Or, you may be doing whatever you can to avoid the confrontation you desperately need to grow.  What about that?  Would you be willing to move beyond ego?

One valuable lesson is that forgiveness from others will stay out of reach until you forgive yourself.  If part of you does not feel worthy of forgiveness or, if your shame and inadequacy stand in the way, then you still have issues to work through.

Another thinig to realize is that evolution and change happens naturally in each human being when that being is ready.  When you make an analogy with traditional school, its like requesting to skip a grade before you prove your ability.

When it comes to the thought of getting off the hook, you already believe something does not feel right.  Part of you does not desire to face something.  This is fear.  Why get off the hook?  How would this make you better off?  If you did something you regret, its an invitation to work through the guilt, shame or insecurity that tugs at you inside.

One view is the point of existence is to find the courage to become conscious of those things that evoke discomfort.  This is how to conquer them so they do not conquer you!

To realize your dreams, you discover it is necessary to sift through the thoughts and ideas that hide the truth from your conscious mind.  Human beings can reach this point of knowing, yet for now, you are on a meaningful journey that has context for who you are.

Are you seeking reassurance?

Analysis of dream submitted by Anonymous in Melbourne, Australia.

Dream- My deceased grandmother keeps showing up in my dreams.  Most recently, I received a series of images.  In one case, I see her sitting in front of a mirror with her hair up under a turban hat when she is younger than when she died.  Next, I see her and my grandfather standing off to the side at a recent reception.  Then, I see her sitting in a chair in my mother's bedroom while my mother is in bed rather sick. Grandma is a silent observer and a welcome presence. I feel an enormous amount of love inside.

Predominant Emotions- compassion, self-acceptance, happiness, wonder, elation.

Interpretation- On one level, grandparents are a symbol of, love, security and protection. Ask yourself whether you are searching for the intangible feelings represented or, question stability and staying power of what you already experience.

A turban reveals you sense some external pressure.  You may feel society imposes ideas or norms of behavior that are incompatible with who you are inside.  To face the mirror encourages you to nurture faith and find courage to be yourself.  Trust your inner truth.

On another level, this could be perceived as a very spiritual dream. If you hold the belief that souls exist beyond this world, then this offers a message of reassurance.  It reverberrates feelings of hope, explores immortality, and spirit energy.  This reminds you that eternal love surrounds you in forms you may not initially recognize or understand.

Robin Sharma & 5 tips to become all you are

Robin Sharma has written books like, The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari, Who Will Cry When You Die?, and Discover Your Destiny.  His tales encourage, inspire and enlighten.

As an author, he reveals eternal fulfillment is always within reach.  He encourages you to examine the chains you imagine which prevent you from living to your highest potential.

Based on Robin's writing, here are 5 tips to help you become all you are:

1) Discover what you are not and resist struggling with it.

2) Stop permitting fear to rule your life choices.

3) Choose to do more than lead a life of mediocrity.

4) Do your best and let go of the urge to control.

5) Take an active interest in what it takes to reclaim your inner power.

What kind of shoes do you wear?

I am drawn to the Persian proverb that reads, "I cursed the fact that I had no shoes until I saw a man who had no feet."

How often have you thought negatively about some situation until you began to compare yourself to people who appear worse off?  This is an eye-opening revelation, not only because it reveals your inner judge, but also because it reveals you may be more apt to shift accountability and responsibility away from yourself.  Do you note the implications?

People each have their own perception. You will see differently than other people. To observe is not the same as to judge.  To believe in the power of the human spirit allows you to rise above noticing difference.  Instead, your instinct will evolve to choose to focus on what you have in common or, why you feel connected to people as they are.

As you evolve to believe each person exists to make a genuine difference in the world, you will come to accept your calling.  When you choose not to run away from your fears, or the experiences that evoke them, you will face all that is genuinely loving and reclaim what it means to relish personal freedom.  Relate the kinds of shoes you happen to wear.
