What is your most recent revelation?

Part of the purpose of this blog is to encourage and guide different stages of awakening. Every human being experiences "ah-ha" moments, that is, those periods where you realize you know useful things. Such an experience enables you to be aware you feel good, and choose to generate similar feelings.

Take a few moments today and share a recent revelation of your own here. What did you learn? How does it help you?

Hi Liara.
I'm encouraged to shift my perspective from seeing negative and positive; to experiment with not judging one or the other. I was out walking just the other day and found myself thinking that how I apply myself to a certain situation will add the "spice" and that I can choose how much spice and the quantity to add. That we all have the choice to "massage" a situation by being involved it in it just for learning, not for winning good against bad. That was an ah-ha moment; not that I get it yet... needs lots of practice... and there IS time. :-)

Davina, some people forget that to focus on the positive is to unconsciously acknowledge the negative. Nothing is good or bad, but simply experience. The art of learning unjudgmental observation is always a meaningful process.

It wasn't very recent, but it was a big revelation for me. Once it was realized that I wasn't a separate entity and that we are all unconditional love, then seeking (and therefore suffering) fell away. What remains is simply an ordinary life being lived fully and joyfully.
