Create meaningful moments

Wherever you are, whatever you do, you have the power to create meaningful moments.  You choose to view everything that happens as positive or negative, or somehow part of your overall growth. Why  you se yourself as you do is for a purpose.

Everyone is on their own learning curve.  You are aware of certain things about yourself and the world, yet oblivious to others.  As you remind yourself that you are selectively ignorant, because of your own desire to learn, then life becomes a completely different experience.

Feels have meaning other than those you immediately assume.  Thoughts have underlying meaning.  People you interact with are sending you messages.  What will you choose to get out of this meaningful moment? How is your mindset already transforming your life?

One of my favorite quotes is that every moment is an opportunity for grace realized. It is fun to see the joy and opportunity of every moment.

Dear liara, wow, great idea to create meaningful moments. It leads to mindfulness if we try it, doesn't it?

rainer, mindfulness begins and ends within each person. You think what you choose. It is up to you to figure out why you think and feel as you do. Life is full of lessons.

Sandra, to rethink the value where you are reshapes your perception and how you value life. Everything has intrinsic value. You choose what you need to know right now.

I once read a book which had all of the wisdom, encapsulated in the title:

"Do not allow yourself the Luxury of a negative thought"

Henry, the process of personal creation has the potential to raise awareness in ways that teach people negative thoughts are not possible. The mind is a tool and is not always used for purposes for which it is intended. The mind is most effective when you choose to work through illusions which are created to blind you ffrom perpetual happiness.

There are no ordinary moments (as Dan Millman would say)

Henry, you make an astute observation. Human beings can choose to believe meaning is everywhere, in everything, every type of energy, seen or unseen. As you are an energy being, that would mean everything you think, feel and do has intrinsic meaning. This helps to reveal the irony in any pursuit of meaning outside yourself. What you seek is always within, even if you choose to ignore or 'not see.' Meaning also lies in selective ignorance.

myraine, glad you passed through. You are in the midst of discovering great opportunities. How you think brought you here. How you react will take you elsewhere and back again. You will rediscover places within yourself that you never left.
