Reinforce what you already know

Jenny Mannion of Heal Pain Naturally tagged me to list 10 things that made me happy today.   I invite you to visit her blog at

http://healpain.blogspot.com/2008/07/10-things-that-made-me-happy-today.html

As my sense of inner happiness is unconditional and unchanging, my approach to this meme is to highlight how I reinforce what I already know.  These aren't things I do intermittently in hopes of seeking happiness. What I do each day doesn't change this joy.

For me, joy is a constant, uplifting state.  If you choose to explore this perspective, you might consider these 10 strategies for rediscovering what joy you have always had:

1) Choose to hold specifically high vibrating thoughts to attract better experiences.

2) Devote time to your passion for creating.

3) Realize you can be happy for no identifiable reason.

4) Visualize something you can accept as a real possibility.

5) Allow 'doing' to spring from your essence rather than assume 'doing' will lead you to it.

6) Imagine peaceful resolutions to sources of conflict.

7) Expect complete heath, spiritual-connectedness, meaningful interactions.

8) Recognize you can't arrive at happiness via physical action when its a mental choice.

9) Sense you come from happiness and be aware of the causes and effects of thoughts.

10) Learn to just "be" in the now.

Hi Liara, Thank you so much for your wonderful list! You are truly an inspiration and I will be in touch after I receive my reading. I am VERY excited for it! Gratefully, Jenny

Jenny, to access your own Akashic records is a life-transforming exercise. Some human beings believe the akashic records are like a collective consciousness. These records have been described as "the Universal Mind," "the collective unconscious."

Everthing you have ever thought, said or done in this life and past lives is recorded in the akasha (universal filing system). Some people learn to access their own akashic records while in certain heightened states of consciousness. Such states can be induced by stages of sleep, weakness, illness, drugs, and meditation, So, not only mystics and clairvoyants, but ordinary people can and do perceive the akashic records. Your underlying motivation to access the records influences whether you get there. Its part of the process of learning to read, understand and transcend your current physical self.

Hi
Thanks for visiting my blog.
FYI the meat of those animals and reptile are delicacies for the natives here, but then the meat is not for sale.

Buwau, at some point, everyone learns that no matter what you think you know, there is always more to learn. Whenever you believe something is true, you may take steps to reinforce that even when part of you disbelieves it. Reasons explain why vegetarians are increasingly widespread.

"Realize you can be happy for no identifiable reason."

I've found this one really remarkable in recent years. It's possible to have moments even of some joy in conditions that are quite advanced medically and accompanied by high physical pain. Like light shining just because light shines. No more complicated than that.

Paul Maurice, to peel back the layers of thought and behaviour, you begin to realize happiness is based on the choices you make in the moment. It is as simple as you decide.

Hi Liara, I LOVED this post!!! It is SO wonderful and soothing to read this list...and to hear someone say these things. I chuckled when I read that last one,#10, because being in the moment or NOW is was what my page and half was all about when you inspired me on the previous post titled: Let Faith Take Root.

Also loved #5. That is a stellar truth. Good for you! Such good, good, writing here...but it's not just the writing. What it really is...is the heart it comes from. Bless you,

Rainforestrobin, the more attuned you become to your authentic self, the easier the ideas seem to flow from your soul through your physical fingertips and other parts of your physical body. You have no reason to explain what feels right. To 'go with the flow' simply reminds you all that you are underneath the surface. Your sense of self-value is unlimited.
