5 Signposts to re-orient your journey

As you progress along your life journey, it can be helpful to refer periodically to signposts, that is, ideas to ground or re-orient your experiences to keep you on tack.  Its possible for your thoughts and feelings to evolve in ways that do not serve you.  As you step back from whatever you are doing or thinking, ask yourself the impact of these points;

1) No road you take is better than any other. You may have heard the phrase, "all roads lead to Rome."   Regardless of you choices of work, relationships, thoughts, feelings, leisure or other endeavours, your destination is the same. How you get there and how long it takes will vary, based on your free will and whether you choose to make things more complicated than they are.  Recognize that your assessment of 'better' is a judgment and judgment is something you are learning to dissolve completely.

2) Every choice you make is a blessing.  Your choices are ways you aim to rescue yourself from your own ignorance.  You may repeat the same choices, find yourself in similar relationships or circumstances that caused pain before. Yet, this time, to arrive in the same conditions may only to find something you could've sworn wasn't there before.  You may have been looking past or overlooking precisely what you were seeking. As you raise self-awareness, you view things differently.  You value every experience for intrinsic worth.

3) You do nothing against your will.  You are the cause of all your experiences.  Whether you choose to take responsibility for your thoughts and feelings is another matter.  As you learn to discern the meaning behind what you think and say, you begin to realize each experience is an effort you exert to reinforce what you already know.  Although you may listen to your conditioned mind or your heart, each one offers a perspective with regard to the soul.

4) Its impossible to be a victim.  As you create your life, you decide at what levels you desire to become more conscious and aware.  You also decide whether you will choose to live in denial or disregard your infinite, inner power. To be in charge of your life reveals you can't be a victim of your own thoughts. Although your conscious, subconscious and supraconscious levels of awareness fragment themselves from a whole at your birth, you are constantly teaching yourself lessons at levels you choose to accept or disregard.

5) More is going on than you readily see.  What would you say if all experiences, all possibilities, exist at all times.  Every instant, you are choosing the possibility that resonates most with you.  These experiences you note or recall are unfolding with other choices simultaneously, on levels of energy and vibration you may not see or even imagine. That's okay. You don't have to see it t believe it.

Hi Liara,
I think all of your points are well taken, especially number 1. How many times are we in a check-out line when we think another one is moving faster? Then we jump into that one and find that the original one has moved faster. We have to realize that the road we are on is our road where we are supposed to be. There are no detours, but lots of roadwork ahead and an elevated consciousness paves the way.

Liara, These 'signposts' are perfect for removing the angst from life. It is great to see these 5 points so simply put...like a checklist we can use to remind ourselves that 'all is well'.
Thank you!

Alexys, you make a great point with the reference to the daydream about 'the grass must be greener other than where we are.' Its worth noting human beings often focus on things that don't really matter. Such situations evoke negative feelings like regret, and draw attention away from energy alignment that is already occurring in our interest.

Leanne, its reassuring to realize that angst will dissapear from the moment a person decides he or she don't want it anymore. Its always a choice.
