Reframe your thinking
Analysis of dream submitted by B.W. of Melbourne, Australia.
Dream- I was slowly descending a linear staircase. The surroundings were a blur. I thought I was being careful, but I still stumbled. This disappointed me. I felt like I wasn't in control of my feet, like they weren't mine. I felt clumsy, but regained some bearings.
Predominant Emotions- frustration, fear, anxiety. disorientation, and hope.
Interpretation- If you're unsure of your footing, you may not feel grounded. You may not feel like you're on 'the straight and narrow.' Perhaps you know someone who has deviated from a linear path, and this evokes discomfort. Your sense of moral conduct refers to your own understanding of moral integrity. Everyone won't see "eye-to-eye."
To sense a move downward doesn't have to mean retreat, defeat or that things are deteriorating. Its all about perspective. You can choose to believe life is getting easier. You may be taking steps to change your vantage point for good reason. Initiative itself suggests confidence. Life is what you choose based on how you decide to frame it.
Human beings grow up conditioned to asume things exist as they are and must be perceived in a certain way. As you gain life experience, you can evolve to sense a different reality. You begin to undertsand that your only limitations are the ones you impose on yourself. They are unrelated to your perception of external circumstances.
The key is your willingness to act. Without that, your perception and life would remain unchanged, based on what you thought you knew. The more you realize you program your mind to be critical or supportive, loving or fearful, the more empowered you are. Shift thoughts that don't serve you. Discard what you don't need. Rediscover yourself.
