Get your feet back on the ground

Analysis of dream submitted by Anonymous in Melbourne, Australia.

Dream- From a distance, I watched a person climb horizontally around a steep mountain. As my view focused, I saw I was the climber.  As I came to a stump, dangling roots were crumbling from termites.  I reached to grasp another clump of rock then, I no longer felt the need to climb. The complete perspective rotated. I suddenly stood on firm ground.

Predominant Emotions- bewilderment, anticipation, optimism and self-acceptance.

Interpretation- Growth is perpetual.  A stump is like a memory of who you thought you were.  To feel "up a stump" suggests you may be perplexed about some of your recent experiences.  Rest assured, it is all part of a meaningful process. To reminisce about remnants of who you were can bring you closer to raising awareness about who you are.

Termites are industrious creatures who like warmth and solid forms of sustenance.  You can learn to discern your own level of enthusiasm when you sink your teeth into something.  Does part of you feel like you have bitten off more than you can chew? More of what you need is still available.  Something in you understands or you would not stop.

You sense what it takes to build a firm foundation. If you evolve to be flexible and adapt well to periodic changes,  then your relationships with endure and no significant situation will 'leave you hanging.' Accept who you are you will discover how grounded you truly are.
