Prophetic wake-up call?
Analysis of the week on dream submitted by D.T. of Trollhatten, Sweden.
Dream: I was racing my speed bike with a sense of freedom. Scenery was familiar. As I arrived at the centre of an intersection, the oncoming traffic light went green. A car raced forward and hit me head on. My face was red with blood. I stiffened on impact and don't recall the driver showing any remorse. An ambulance took take me to hospital. Miraculously, I left with only minor injuries yet, lost my bike. I awoke relieved. Not long after this, in real life, I experienced that very same scenario. Nonetheless, I didn't see what was coming and wonder about an innate gift?
Predomiant Emotions: fearlessness, pride, denial, remorse, suffering and deja-vu.
Interpretation: Each of us has innate psychic abilities and the potential to heighten awareness and skills. When you had this dream, you may have been psychically "tuned-in" to events that have since transpired. Dreams can be like a wake-up call to do things, but only if you're "in-sync" with the message at the time. Another way to think about it is you were both sensing future events and also making them happen by thinking as you did. If passing deja-vu leads you to experience a sense of more regular prophetic vision, this could be a sign of new psychic awakening. Trust your vibes.
On another level, this dream raises specific themes. You may experience a real-life sense of loss, denial, precarious states of well-being, and longing for reasons other than those revealed. Each part of your dream offers a piece of a puzzle which formulates a resolution.
Imagine you are the object of focus. How do you perceive your physical appearance? What does the color red symbolize to you? Anger? All-consuming passion? Pain? Embarassment? What are your feelings on control, 'crashing' and traditional or alternative healing? Key views are revealed. Do you drive yourself too hard in undesirable directions? Each person and object shows aspects of your personality.
A red face suggests you may be over-exerting yourself unnecessarily. Maybe its time to ease off? Its possible you're getting 'carried away' or permitting yourself to be guided by unhealthy emotions. Maybe you need to put the brakes on and shift gears in some area of your life. Each element of the dream exists for a purpose. What are you made of? Resilient material? You may feel a bit flat, like your tires after the accident, but you're giving yourself a chance to shape up. Life doesn't have to hurtle out of control. Rethink priorities. Reduce your pressure on the accelerator.
